RAmarl, like the HUnewearls of version 1, are intended to be hybrid characters. Meaning they have more powerful techs, at the expense of some of the raw power. They will be alowed to use up to level 20 techs, with the exception of reverser, grants, and megid. Those are force only now.

So a RAmarl casting level 20 shifta and deband when a force isn't available, will make a fine adition to any team.

In version 2, HUnewearls got the shaft when they could only use level 15 techs. They sort of lost the abilities of a true hybrid. This has been corrected in episode 2, and will be able to use the level 20 techs as well.

Keep in mind that I don't have episode 2, and this is all just stuff I've heard. It can all be completely bogus for all I really know. But I never miss the chance to maybe spread false info when I get the chance.
