Do techniques change?

I have a force that can do all the foie's, barta's, and zonde's and I know what they look like. But ive seen some pictures of techniques that didnt look anything like the other ones. One Looked like a Rabarta but instead of making the white snow stuff come out in all directions in made all the ground around it turn into ice. And the Rafoie looked alot bigger in one picture and it had a ring in the middle of it. Do techs change once they get to lvl 30 or something?

I think they change somewhere in the 20s, and then 30, but I'm not sure.

I do think there's a guide or at least a prior, search-able mention of this, however.

Yes, attack techs do change in apperance as they get higher in level. Level 30 Rafoie has a big ring in the middle of the huge explosion and has a lingering-heat type of after effect while level 5 Rafoie is just a little round explorion, for example.
Also, with (at least) Foie and Barta, the higher they are, the farther and faster they go.

The higher level techniques are mainly used to clear out and area full of enemies quickly so it is best to learn as quickly as possible.

There are visual changes at level 20, and level 26.

Wow... I knew this but I needed confirmation...

What about Zonde? Does appearance of zonde change? One of the videos that this site offers had a hunewearl using lv 30 zonde that looked like 50 other zondes on one enemy.

Yes, Zonde starts as one lightning bolt and by level 30 expands to like 7 all hitting the target at once, i love it.

Other examples are Gifoie which starts as a simple fireball then grows to being a dual fireballs with smoke and burning effects,
Gibarta at higher levels has a ground freezing effect as you cast then a ton of ice arrows come from you.
Foie becomes big and leaves a black smoke trail.
Barta gets very spiky and big.

I think level 30 is another look for techs too because level 29 and level 30 Rafoie look different as far as i can remember (if i'm wrong, i'm wrong)

Not that i remeber when my techs changed from 15-16

I just remeber we were like O_O OMG THREE!11!! bolt now. for Zonde.

I have just rechecked the statistics on the tech disk drops and it said it was impossible to get a disk with level 30 besides grants. How can you use it when it is impossible to get it? Ultimate Ruins 3 can only drop disks up to level 29, not 30.

Mostly my friend's Pinkal mage finds them.

ive noticed lots of tech changes for my fomarl i think every spell gets a new look after lvl 12 cause i noticed zonde shot out 2 bolts at lvl 14 and then gifoie shot out 2 fire balls at well what ever lvl and i noticed that gizonde gets thicker and hits more nemys and at lvl 15 up small static sparks show up and make a frying sound,razonde has the same affect just withe more power cause large static dots appeared every were arounds you,rabarta at lower lvls is around your waist and shoots form a short distance,but i noticed at higher lvls it goes lower near youre ankles and shoots out farther spreading across the floor,gibarta shoots out bigger icicles and shards of ice,it also makes small sparkles appear to,barta just plain out gets bigger and faster,foie starts to leave a black trail and at higher lvls like the one a dragons claw shoots out(which is unknown to me at this time it looks like its multiple buts its just real big and fast lol,rafoie has a huge ring of fire around the middle and has an after heat type effect that looks cool,anyways gifoie will eventually shoot out 3 fire balls,mine is lvl 18 now and shoots out 2 huge balls of fire that leave black smoke trails it cool

Thanks for the info.. I looked at that guide and I see couple of the boxes missing. But I get it now..

So is it .001% at the ruins 3 to get a lv 30 tech??

yeah i guess it is,i have found lvl 20 techs from enemys in the ult forest i found my first lvl 20 spell from a gulgus-gue and it s was foie,it really helped me beat the sil dragon fast unlike with my hunters,and i found a lvl 20 resta in the ult caves most of my other high lvl spells i buy from the shop lady
