If you play on Ultimate, you can earn the following prizes by clearing this subquest: Custom Barrier (max stats), Custom Frame (max stats), Custom Ray (50% hit), and a customizable Works Guard. To earn a SS-Rank on Ultimate in a 4 player team, the following conditions must be met:

- Your total clear time must be less than 40 minutes
- There must be 3 or less player deaths
- The Tower area must be cleared within 5 minutes

The conditions for earning a SS-Rank vary depending on the difficulty and number of players in the team. You will only earn one item per SS-Rank clear. The Custom Barrier is the first item. To earn the WORKS Guard, you will have to complete this sidequest four times. After the WORKS Guard is earned, you will receive a Scape Doll each time you obtain a SS-Rank on Ultimate.

Then what are the conditions for less than four people?

I think those conditions have to be met also for soloing RT not sure since I have not played RT in awhile but I think the same thing applies.

I personally never cleared RT with less then 4 people when getting the Works Guard. To get under 5 minutes in towers is really hard with less then 3 people.

I would assume the prerequisites are the same no matter how many people are on the team to get SS rank.

I think also you are going to have most trouble tryin to clear the entire RT in under 40 minutes with less than 4 people also..especially if youre collecting the sphere thingies.

Well, I knew a lv145ish Ramarl, and a lv 198ish Ramar who duoed it a long time ago... And the Ramar is still around. I will see if I could get him to help me then, since soloing seems impossible.

That is a horrible rule. A person soloing would be much more likely to die 3, 4 or 5 times, whereas with a team of four players, even though there are more people to die, the enemies die faster so they are less of a threat.

I did RT 2 people(several time) with a RAmarl using a berserk needle or with a good melee FOmar.Me using my normal setup , running time for the moment (28.37) .3.23 in tower.I normally clear the tower part alone...easier without DMC
