Why RAmars are NOT Ninjas...

I see many people are getting confused with the traits of a RAmar and a Ninja...let's clarify this, shall we?

Ladies and gentlemen, this, as we all know, is a RAmar:

The differences? Surely you're not serious:

-Ninjas use blades of all sorts
...ramars are not exclusive to swords and do quite badly with them

-Ninjas are quick and highly skilled in melee combat
...ramars stick to the "I'm-out-of-harm's-way-let-me-hide-and-attack" style of fighting. They use guns more commonly than anything, for RANGE.

-Ninjas- believe it or not-seem to wear slightly looser pants/clothing (Hanzos costume doesn't seem so tight)

We only use the meat sheild that is HU class when it's there to be used. A team of 4 RAmar Ninjas = so bad ass nobody gets touched. Except when the women just can't resist.

If/When the other Casts decide to oust you from your lofty and undeserved position they too will be respected more. Until then you have no right to talk. And remember, 50% of your species is Rangers. I wouldn't run my mputh about the reliance on melee combat too much.




In short kids, try to beat Dark Falz without the use of guns. Until you can do it you don't got shit on RAmars and our reliance on guns.

That's an ad for some game made by Namco, it appears in more than just OPM.

And RAmars are not ninjas. Ninjas have the capability to kill quickly and assassinate, whereas a RAmar couldn't do enough damage to kill quickly and tends to miss a lot more.

And just because RAmars can wear partial face masks doesn't make them ninjas. It makes them bad ninja imitations.

And a FOmarl with a Katana looks more like a samurai to me.

Where is it written that a Ninja need look like anything in particular or wield anything in particular? He'll/she'll just do/be what's necessary to get the job done.

Of course, I must admit that the RAmar costume doesn't do much for a Ninja, as the "blinders" don't help vision too much.

Hitmen, maybe, but only if they were hired to kill extremely weak targets that are standing still/sleeping. Even then they may not be able to do enough damage to kill.
