No joke folks. I'm fifteen and i'm not afraid to admit that i love these games. They're so addictive. Nintendo and gamefreak somehow keep then fresh even when doing remakes. They just never get boring.

Right now i am playing leaf green for the second time and i have a pretty sweet team. After spending about a day, trading and breeding eevee's my team consists of:

Ivysaur
Umbreon
Esperon
Jolteon
Flareon
Vaporeon

That is possibly the coolest team i have ever had...ever.

[final statement]I love pokemon.[/final statement]

Okay, so, Leaf Green and Fire Red have Pokémon from all the regions?

All of those are too slow, save for Jolteon. It's still nice, though. Ah, man, it'd be so awesome if they had an online feature. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I've been waiting for an online Pokemon to get back into the game. I felt, while upgrades and new games are nice; untill it goes online, with all the interactivity and other players, I wouldn't be able to play a game solo that's just MADE for multiplayer.

I use to be a huge pokemon fan but I dropped out after Gold and Silver were released.(I spent so many hours on Gold) But I'm with Boxblaster, if there was an online version of Pokemon, I may just get back into it.

An Eevee team! Yes! I have one of those every time I play (well, not every time, but they are my all-time favs). By the way, Umbreon rules!!! (See the number next to my name)

I really enjoyed Pokemon when it first started. My friends and I were addicted to it. Than I imported the Japanese version of Pokemon Gold and played that to death. Later bought Pokemon Gold (English version) and played through that. After that, the series became tiring for me. I had no inspiration to buy another one until Pokemon FireRed.

Frankly, I'm a firm believe that Pokemon should create a real-time battle system (especially when it makes the jump online). I just cannot get into the turn-based games and the new Pokemon are becoming less and less original with every version.

I booted up Pokemon Yellow for the first time in ages yesterday to show my little brother the 147 Pokemon I owned. I wondered why I didnt have a Dugtrio and swore at Dragatini for still not evolving into Draganite.

I tried silver, but couldnt get too far into it through being destracted by everything else and the newer titles look nice and all, but I dont really want to retread the same ground I did with Yellow. As everyone else said, I think an online version would make me play again and its fully realiseable thanks to the DS and its Wi-Fi capabilities.

They do have a new pokemon for DS using wifi, I know a pic of the chick that's the new character on the cover was floating around, It's called diamond and pearl, and it has confirmed online.

Probably a lame online battle mode...
An MMO is what we want. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Whoa, an MMO Poke'mon...

But yeah, I haven't bought any Poke'mon games since Gold, and I played that to hell. Seriously. It doesn't work anymore. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Although an MMO version would be pretty neat... I would really be just fine with a simple online battlemode! I just want to be able to fight other players... It's really hard to find other college students who play! ;D

I used to be a big fan of the Pokemon games. I played all of the early games to death but I lost all interest in the franchise halfway through Pokemon Ruby. I was begining to feel that aside from some the new Pokemon the franchise really hasn't evolved at all over the years, it all felt too repetive, too time consumming and pointless.

I dont really like Pokemon the show, the games are good, but i only ever really liked Charmander.

I played the original Blue and Red when they came out. Those were awesome then. I remember a trick my friend found out that when you beat the elite 4, take a Pokemon from your team and put them into the bank, then take them out right away and they'd gain +1 to every stat.

Before he told me about the trick, he took a maxed Mewtwo and walked through my team, it was sad when Psychic one-hit my poor Scyther T_T.

Anyhow i never really bought anymore after that since they were mostly just glorified remakes with new pokemon, moves and worlds.

Rayquaza level 100
Groudon level 100
Crobat level 100
Jarachi (sometimes)
Metagross(sometimes)
Golem(sometimes)
Latios(MVP!)
and two more level 100 cant remember tho... playin for about 260 hours and need 5 more pokemon to complete the pokedex.

I've been watching it for much longer than I care to admit ^.^;, but the show needs to die. Seriously. It will forever hold a place in my heart because it first aired on my birthday, but geez. Go awaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

The movies are good, though. Fairly well done, very decent music I have to admit. And, the environments are always very different and gorgeous. <3 the movies.

Except for Pokémon 4ver. That was crap.

How 'bout that Team Rocket, though, eh? Gotta be the most persistent villans in the history of villany.

Oh, God, I am such a geek. >.O

My girlfriend and I just started playing pokémon red. I chose charmander, so I'm zooming ahead of her. *grin*

Its embarrassing to admit that I still love this game. But then again, I think everybody does, so we're all embarrassed together...

Who's embarrassed? I still play my Gold and my Silver, or, I would if I could remember where I packed either of my gameboys. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

So ya, I had at some point (Emerald >_>):

-Blaziken
-Milotic (favourite pokemon EBAR)
-Meganium
-Mawile
-Swellow (its low hp actually helps when using endeavor O_o)
-Manetric

Wtf, didn't notice I had so many Ms O_O
Just because I like the game, doesn't stop the T.V. series from sucking http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I like Pokemon as well, but I don't play it much. The only version I play anymore is old-school Silver version. One of these days, I'd like to get one of the GBA ones (either Emerald or perhaps Fire Red), but we'll just have to see.

I guess I'll take the times to post abouts the teams I've created...!

It's weird, I raise Pokemon to level 100, Pokemon that I like, but I also take into account their usefulness. And I'm aware of EV's and natures and such, but I don't really care much about them.

Original Ruby (Gold) team:
Eruptii/BLAZIKEN Level 100
Gekkol/KECLEON Level 100
Sonicwave/CROBAT Level 100
Octagon/OCTILLERY Level 100
Chaompion/...Take a guess XD Level 100
Spinutop/CACTURNE Level 100

This first time is just filled with... weirdos. I love it the most I think XD It was just my first new generation team. Even if I didn't like the Pokemon on the team (Which I do), it'd still be nostalgic cool

Original Colloseum (Silver) Team (Incomplete):
Sunny/TYPHLOSION Level 100
I'll need to recheck his nickname but it's cool/NOCTOWL Level 100
Bananas (XD I love this name)/Tropius Level 100
Showsire/QUAGSIRE Level 70
Midnight (I think, need to recheck)/MISDREAVUS Level 6x
Hi-Blade/HITMONTOP Level 6x

I admit, I liked Colloseum. And I really plan to finish this team, after I atleast finish half of my XD team. But... ahh, Quasire and Bananas XD

Original Firered (Kirin) Team:
Gold/CHARIZARD Level 100
Orrefe/FEAROW Level 100
Bakutist/HYPNO Level 100
Emerald/CLOYSTER Level 100
Discharge/ELECTABUZZ Level 100
Candy/JUMPLUFF* Level 100

There's not much to say for this team about how much I like it (Alot, like all my teams, so no variation in likeness? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif), except *Shiny Jumpluff <3

Original XD (Joseph) Team:
Zarcilus/VAPOREON Level 100
Jiret/HOUNDOOM Level 100
Neojet/ELECTRODE Level 79
Oreo/GLALIE Level 7x
Sector/PARASECT Level 7x
Tripoudama/DUGTRIO Level 7x

Make note; this is the only team that doesn't have a fire Pokemon as the leader of the team! Make double note, the leader is the ultimate fire Pokemon rival type! Dundundun! XD rocks so much socks, also note, only team with any One-Hit KO moves (Dugtrio AND Glalie), although my second Firered team Pinsir will probably use Guillotine

Original Emerald (Emerald) Team:
Can't remember names/CAMERUPT Level 5x
Kirel/MIGHTYENA Level 5x
Fluge/BEAUTIFLY Level 5x
Also can't remember! Have touched Emerald team in forever/SWAMPERT Level 5x
Bidekon/DUSCLOPS Level 5x
Something also/PERSIAN Level 5x

I borrowed Emerald from someone, mostly to do Battle Frontier. And Battle Frontier rocks. But! I still managed to scour a team from it XD I'll raise them eventually, but pretty much every other team/Pokemon to raise has a higher priority.

Second Ruby Team:
Meteor/FLAREON Level 100
SUPAH CHAO/BANETTE Level 100
Rhykahn/RHYDON Level 100
Divinity/MILOTIC Level 100
Fairy-Tale/CLEFABLE Level 100
Waste/MUK Level 100

At this point, people must be questioning my taste in Pokemon. Muk = <3 And also noticing the fire Pokemon everywhere.

Second Firered Team:
Flare/MAGMAR Level 59
Likkorin/LICKITUNG Level 73
Can't... remember T_T third and fourth
Puddy (Gonna change name)/DITTO Level 85
Nickname not remembering/CRADILY Level 5x

Actually, I think besides Magmar and Lickitung, this team might have a lower priority than the Emerald team XD Doesn't mean I don't love it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

And, not in teams, but randomly training/trained to level 100

Ignite/MOLTRES Level 100
Firestorm/ENTEI Level 100
Celsius/REGICE Level 100
HO-OH (Colloseum Ho-Oh is OT Mattle ._.)/HO-OH Level 100 (The only unnicknamed Pokemon I got attached to)
Krieg/LUGIA Level 100
Cacao/MEWTWO Level 100
Quesadilla/RAYQUAZA Level 100
Ragnarok/DEOXYS (Attack) Level 100
Noket/BLAZIKEN Level 100 (Second Blaziken, yay!)
Rasidori/TYPHLOSION Level 50 (Gonna have a second Typhlosion, yay XD)
And I eventually wanna raise all Fire Pokemon to level 100.

I made a Fire Gym secret base on Ruby that I borrowed recently (Had to make a new game, hence the second Torchic XD), I couldave included Ho-Oh, MOltres and Entei, but I wanted it to be more gym-like. So, my Gym was (They don't show nicknames, so I won't show them):

Flareon, Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken, Kecleon, Blaziken. That looks like a gmy setup, I like it. Although, when I transferred it, I might of accidentally had Wingull in place of the last Blaziken, and if I did... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

I might have more, but yeah. Gaze upon my love and lacking of doing anything outside of Pokemon... Pokemon!

EDIT: Also forgot to mention second Ditto I'm raising. I'm just realising how much fun Ditto are, and I just recently got Metal Powder <3 Damn Emerald version and it's easyness to get it... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Anyone hear about this yet?

http://ds.ign.com/articles/711/711641p1.html

Nintendo officially annonced a new Poke-itteration for the Wii: Pokemon Battle Revolution!

The game may or may not be WiFi capable-but you will definitely be able to link your DS copies of Pearl and Diamond to battle on the big screen in all it's next-gen glory!

Also, there was a bit in there about the WiFi for Pearl and Diamond-so hears to hoping for the best! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm 22 and will be the first to say I love the Pokemon games aswell, as long as they stay true to the Gameboy style. Puzzle games and spin-offs like Snap were enjoyable, but I still perfer trucking along, collecting, raising, battling, etc...

I do hope the day comes we'll get a Pokemon MMO.
