doesn't have to be DSL, any form of broadband connection will work whether it be DSL, Cable or a T connection. If you are simply confusing the word DSL for broadband and are really asking if dialup would work also, I'm sure someone can answer your question.

I've known a few who played BB on dialup and it apperantly worked ok. The only notible issue was quests and such taking a while load.

ok thanks, I'll probably get it then, It's just the requirements on the site said "highspeed dsl or broadband", and we can't get dsl in my area, and my parents won't get cable. ep 1 & 2 works fine with dial up, so this probably will work the same.

Bear in mind that the game client itself is a 500-700 MB download.

Yeah it said it had 70 (and rising) hours left to download.... my mom is going to download it at her work (they have much faster internet) and copy it onto a cd so we'll be able to use the phone for the next three days... it probably wouldn't download anyway, because the last few days our dial up has been disconnecting EVERY few minutes, and it's really annoying.
