About Tycho's run with a level 1 character.....

I think most of the people here know about it. I personally don't know the whole detail of this run where he beat DF in Ult and reportedly got to level 25 from the kill. Even though I visit this site regularly, I must have missed the details on that day so I'm interested in the details. The questions are:

Is this done legitly?

What did he do to prepare for this fight?

Is there a video for this fight?

I know that he purposely died after a boss fight but thats about all I really know. If there is a website where he dedicate this run, I would appreciate the link. =)

Well, the only unlegit part is he duped Scape Dolls I believe. He used legit Mind Mats, 195 Mind Mark 3, and 4 God/Minds (I think that's how he did it) and Psycho Wand, with high enough techs so that the TP use would kill him everytime.

I think he had an Angel Wing actually... not a Mark3. (for PB doges, etc.)

He casted a tech, without using the Wand, in order to drain the enemy down very low HP. Then by equipping the Psycho Wand and finishing it off with a high TP cost technique, both he and the enemy died. Since he was dead, he gained no EXP. Since the enemy was dead, he got to move on in the area.

There is a snapshot of the experience gain after ultimate falz died, and the leveling to 25. I'm pretty sure he didn't video tape the event though.

No, he used MarkIII.

In his over-view he wrote how using angel wings would have been more benifical as he could PB dodge, also usong HP mats for falz' final battle.

Oh yeah, filming would be great tomorrow and the next day, if you and AIM are available. I'm really not happy with how much work has been cutting into this project. I'm blaming it on work, at least.

ive tried this and scape dolls do not keep you dead long enough during the de rol le death animation to not get the exp. you still get it.

... did you try casting a tech right after you revived...?
I'm pretty sure you could kill yourself twince during the animation. Perhaps even 3 times.

yeah you can kill yourself during the animation at the right time so that when the exp is distributed, you are dead.

or you can drop all the scape dolls before doing the final attack.

How did he get to the bosses without gaining exp? Did he use the telepipe through doors trick?

No, he would wither down their Hp, then use the P-wand to kill himself, then the scape doll brings him back, rinse repeat.
