Am I doing okay?

I'm in V.hard ruins with a G-assasin sabers, photon claw, and a brave knuckle. I also have Varuna mag, a perfect frame with God HP, and the sheild regenerate gear. Do I need to start hunting for more rares or should I continue?

I'm guessing it's your skyly HUcaseal based on your sig...
G-assassin's saber is pretty good for now. A Yamato might be a better choice though since it has higher ATP and ATA.
The photon claw... personally I found the animation isn't fast enough to be good.
Brave knuckle, you could probably find something better. It's still a good setup so far, much better than when I got that far my first time.

Try to add a few more weapons/items to your list. I would recommend a handgun of some sort (Charge type of handgun). If you can find a pair, get some mechguns with hit% on them, mechguns are just great when you have hit% on them. Also a sword type would help for clearing a large group of enemies, try to get a Last Survivor if possible.

As for your Armor, try to get one with 4 slots. If you look in the shops everytime you go up from Ragol or start your game, you should eventually see a 4 slotted armor you can buy. Get that, equip a few more slot items (god/arm if you can get it) and you should be set.

Also, telling us the mag's stats and level might help to tell if you're ready. 83 is a pretty high level but you can still have difficulty with the boss at that level if not properly set.

That helps. That stupid dragon won't drop that Yamato. I also tried the nano dragons in the caves for a possible double saber, and that really didn't help me.(grr!) I'll try for the Yamato later, and for the handgun I have a Custom Ray. Yeah I'm raising mags. I have 2 Varahas. A Tapas, and I'm now trying to make a Rati.

As for the God HP I forgot where I found it. And any recomendations for weapons?
