I was wondering what everyones opinion was for the best drop rate for a heavens punisher.

i suggest you start thinking now about where you want to spend the next year or 2 playing... How long your planning on piping before getting bored? A HUNT like that..against the uber rare! Think about an area you like more than just droprate or wich way is easier.

To answer your question :yes mericarol and hildtorr are the 2 best drop . you can also consider sinow spigell and sinow blue (soul blade ftw).

Purplenum Mericarol is easily the best drop, do up to 4F of PW#4 or something (if you're online).

To put things into perspective, Purplenum Mericarol HP is 1/12k, whereas Bluefull Hildetorr HP is, in effect, 1/205x1/512 = nearly 1/105k.

Yeah, but the Hildettors can be found instantaneous. Mericarol runs would take FOREVER!!
Besides it's not like you have to go through all 105k hildelts. You might even find it with in your first ten torrs. And there is the factor of more than one torr appearing. Maybe ON BB, but not on GC.

The very same thing can be said of the Mericarol drop; it could be found on the first one you kill. The problem with the 'Torr drop is that it requires you to find the rare enemy first combined with a ridiculously hard drop (for a rare enemy anyway). And it's going to take some time to find torrs in the first place, if you try basic FoS runs. PW4 runs are much easier.

Believe me, I spent over a month of constant piping for a Pyscho Wand drop from a Mil Lily (Purplenum), with a similar drop rate, and it was absurd.

The again, I think HP is pretty useless overall, so...

Same thing happened to me. My Heaven Punisher dropped from a random run I was doing because I had not done mines in a while.

I think purplenum maricarol would be the best bet becuase I bore easily when looking for rare enemies. Cause I got so bore looking for a heart of poumn skyly drop off love rappies and it took me 14 love rappies to get a 1/2 drop rate item now imagen how many it would take me to get a heavens punisher.

It slightly damages, hits multiple targets, and can only be used during every odd hundred beats (100-199, 300-399, etc.).

The special bassed on Grants. If the enemy has 100 Elemntal resistentance to light, it just Damage cancels like crazy

It's also based on MST, higher MST will boost the damage of the Divine Punishment special... I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I think 7 MST = +1 damage.

Thank you Zieg. I read a topic somewhere around here (AGES AGO) and it said something about the special for the HP 1,000 MST + regular MST, so robots can do damage with it.

Purplenum Mericarol drop is easiest, in my opinion,=.

4-floor PW4 is fast, easy, and has a few Mericarol. The 'torr drop works out at 1/512x1/205= 1/104k. Especially on BB, you can't pipe Hildetorrs, which makes the Bluefull drop even worse.

On BB, its combination with Ophelie Seize makes it slightly better, and the old Bluefull Kondrieu drop wasn't too bad. Since the charts in Ep4 changed though, the Kondrieu drop changed to Siren Glass Hammer...

He's on GC as far as I understand. Piping Torrs is by far the best way.

Crimson Assassins are way more common than hildes. Although common is a bit strong a word, I'd have to admit. As in they arn't like vulmers.

I know two guys who did about 450 Rappy's Holiday runs to get a Heaven's Punisher for each of them... Another guy found his completely randomly from a Hildetorr in TTF. It is possible to get it from a Torr, even without piping.

I am going for the Purplenum drop though, but with offline ET's, extended (online) PW4's, (online) MA2 miniboss runs, and (online) RT... However, I have also found a Bluefull who has been helping me with an occasional Rappy's Holiday run. Heatnix found his after piping 289 (?) Torrs, but when he found it, it had 20hit. o.o

Too put the PW4:F4 thing in perspective though... PW4:F2 has 5 Gi Gues on it, and that's half the floors and 2 more enemies... meaning it is harder to get than a SJS... Mericarol's are at least set. You know you'll run into x amount doing runs of a quest. Hildetorr's aren't set in stone(Well, shut up WN, just shut up, cause I know what you're thinking http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). You could find 10 in 10 forest runs, or you could go 1000 forest runs without one.

Pokemon will do just fine. But I do have /.Revenge helping with his Bluefull Hucast.

What drop did you get then? o.o I always thought it was the Hildetorr drop... and did you actually look for it, or was it completely random? o.o

I won't be doing much piping either when I get my Bluefull to Ultimate... I have had plenty enough of piping Hildetors with 2 Iritistas and a 20h Frozen shooter. >:( Piping a 1/205 on them? Nothx. Lilies are easy, but Hildetorr piping takes about 3 times as long...

Use ryukker 1000 times, see no Torr, use it once, see 4 torrs at once. Thats not fucking set in stone like a Mericarol.
