GC: FOmar's Shifta & Deband

I've read that FOmar's Shifta and Deband has twice the ranged/effect compared to other.
Does this mean that a FOmar's S&D will stay twice as long as if a FOnewm casts it?

Or is it just the range? (12m or whatever)

Teh effect, is just the range being increased. Or so i hear. The guide itself only says that it increases range + 6 Meters In-Game.
