Start, settings, control panel, network connections
Right click on the ethernet card that's connected to the gamecube and select properties.
Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click properties.
Select "Use the following IP address"
IP address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1
Give PSO another try and see if 192.168.1.2 pops up in the active connections window of winroute lit's general tab.
