PSO Xbox... Early 2003?!

Every other day I use the Xbox Support chat to ask a Representative the status on PSO XBOX's release date. And up until today I've got "It comes out sometime in November"....

If a 2003 date ever becomes offical, which would not surprise me, it would just give me time to play other games coming out this holiday season. Don't get me wrong the sooner it's released the better, but I don't think Mircosoft wants PSO to compete with some of Xbox's own online software. The main problem with a 2003 date is that I may be playing a Star Wars rpg by that time, which will cause some time issues. Thanks for the info and as always time will tell.

Could be a synchronous launch with Xbox Live! in Japan which is mid-january.
Wouldn't be that bad IMO.
December will be ruled by DOA volley ball and Panzer Dragoon anyway.

I agree, a pushed back or delayed release date won't bother me. November will be Steel Battalion month for me, so there goes $200. I also have other games I want to get into before PSO is released.

This is only devastating news if you don't have any other games to play =)

The point is I don't want to play other games... I want to play PSO. Sure i'll have fun with Mechassault, Steel Battalion, and the dozens of other Xbox titles.... but none of them are PSO :/. I may reconsider getting it for GC now, if the fee goes down.

But now I don't think that way because each version will probably get an equal amount of people playing on them and the fact that I've learned to play what I want and not care about what others do.

I am still weary of the launch date though... I'll wait till after I have my Live kit (on November 15 if I don't get into the Beta) to pass my final judgement. Hey ABDUR do you know if there is any place to get the Steel Battalion pack for less than $200?

It's reassuring that the Reps keep saying that the release date is sometime in November...but why the heck hasn't Microsoft said *anything* through some kind of press release? No online stores even have the game listed, for crying out loud! I really hope Microsoft doesn't drop the ball on this one...

I suppose I could do that too. I mean, I'll get getting Shenmue II and maybe another game or two... but I do hope that PSO comes out before year's end. Before Christmas would even be good.

I just wish they'd TELL us when it's coming out... instead of making us wait for more info.

hm.. considering that x-box-live starts in europe around may or so, then pso may be released for x-box here before it gets released for cube, which would be strange, ...but the european console market is strange anyway -_-;;;
