FanFic: Sword of the White Dragon (renamed from The Lone Sam

Hey guys, this is my first fanfic, may not be that great but this is my first try. It was once named "The Lone Samurai" but now I decided to rename it to "Sword of the White Dragon" since the former seems a little too cliche.

Chapter 1

As Pioneer 2 lands on Ragol, the government has forced all civilians except skilled and trained Hunters to stay inside Pioneer 2 as Ragol has been deemed a dangerous planet to go to. "No news from Pioneer 1? Does this mean that Ragol isn't what we thought it was?" said one of the civilians. A HUmar with no name continues practicing his Niten Ichi-Ryu, a style of swordsmanship that utilized the use of two swords, one on each hand and made famous by Musashi Miyamoto, a samurai who lived hundreds of years ago in the planet that was destroyed and abondoned. This nameless Hunter had white skin and long hair of a matching color.

After finishing his practice, he decided to take a rest and go to the lobby, he prefered lobbies where there were hardly any people as he hated being around loud, annoying people. He liked to wear a white and red Hunter uniform everytime he went out and kept his two swords at his left side, similar to the warriors of the old planet hundreds of years ago. He was just hanging out until he heard an arrogant Hunter, a large, muscluar human saying "I am the great Hunter Roland! Hey pretty boy, I'll show you what it means to be a REAL Hunter, up for a battle?" The nameless Hunter simply said "Hmph, you're not worth my time." One of his two other friends, a RAmar said "Show some respect, this guy is the strongest Hunter in Pioneer 2." The nameless Hunter said "Whatever, I'll teach you a lesson about humility." Another one of Roland's partners, a FOmar thought to himself "What an idiot, he thinks he can stop Roland. He's gonna get crushed."

All of the Hunters in the lobby were suprised to see someone accept Roland's challenge. "Oh man, that albino guy is gonna get crushed by Roland.", "Poor kid, Roland is gonna be too much for him." Appearantly, Roland had a reputation in Pioneer 2 of being a strong Hunter. Roland and the nameless Hunter entered the battle arena. Roland wielded a huge sword while the nameless Hunter used a pair of sabers. As the battle started, Roland swung his sword with all of his might right down at his opponent's head, but the nameless Hunter simply dodged it without any effort. Roland tried doing a verticle slash to the neck but it was ducked. Roland got frustrated and began swinging wildly. The nameless Hunter, still with a calm face used one the sword on his right hand to sever Roland's arms and the left hand to slash at his torso. As the nameless Hunter walked away, Roland's body fell to the ground. "Fool, he's lucky it was only a simulation battle, he would have been killed had we been fighting for real. There is no way this can be the best Hunter in Pioneer 2."

The nameless Hunter won easily to the suprise of many on Pioneer 2 except for another particular RAmar who was quite intrigued in the nameless Hunter. People came up to the nameless Hunter in crowds, so he did what he can to sneak away to a less populated lobby. Another Hunter who saw the fight, a relatively young one said "Wow! That was amazing, whats your name?" He replied "I don't have a name, but if you need a way to refer to me, just call me...Shiro Ryuu."

Chapter 2 - He calls himself Shiro Ryuu

After his victory over that arrogant Hunter, Hunters all over Pioneer 2 have been following Shiro Ryuu. A man who always prefers to be alone in a quiet place, he found this an unwelcome change of pace in his life. Suddenly he heard a voice of a young female.

"That was really great how you shut up that jerk, he was bringing in all sorts of trouble by picking on guys he thought were weak and stealing their weapons and items. He is also such a bad womanizer, he even tried to hit on me."

Shiro Ryuu turned around to see a long pink-haired HUnewearl. She had light skin, though not as pale as Shiro Ryuu and looked to be slightly younger than him, around her early twenties. She wore a tight blue shirt with short shorts of the same color and white boots and had long pointy ears.

"You're Shiro Ryuu, right? My name is Fuyuko, nice to meet you!"

"Oh great, people are beginning to know me, this really sucks."

"There's nothing wrong with a little attention, you know. You just can't be some anti-social hermit all the time."

"Hmph."

"Sheesh, what a boring guy. What a waste, he's so cute too."

Shiro Ryuu left and went to his home to do some more practice. This time, Shiro Ryuu was practicing with a slicer. He believed that even though he favored the two swords, that it is important to use different weapons for every possible scenario. He also practiced with the great sword, using only one saber instead of two, the partisan, and with daggers. He would train with guns as well but only as a hobby, he is so horrible with a gun which he felt he would be ineffective with in combat, so he kept most of his fighting to bladed weapons.

After practice, he took a shower, got dressed and went to the city to get something to eat. It was then that he finally heard the news that Pioneer 2 has finally landed on Ragol in an announcement. "ATTENTION: People of Pioneer 2, we have finally landed on Ragol. However, all civilians are prohibited from entering Ragol, I repeat, ALL CIVILIANS ARE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING RAGOL."

"No civilians in Ragol" thought Shiro Ryuu. "Is is that dangerous? I have been dedicating my time to getting stronger. I think this is finally my time to prove to myself how strong I am."

He eqiupped his two sabers, his mag Varuna and his armor and shild. He also brung many other weapons in along with him just in case he needed them.

"Is Ragol not the paradise we thought it was, is it really a dangerous planet?"

Chapter 3 - He wants to become the strongest

As soon as Pioneer 2 landed on Ragol, everybody found out that Ragol must have been a dangerous planet because nobody heard anything from Pioneer 1. All civilians are prohibited from entering Ragol, the only people allowed to enter are those who are trained Hunters, Rangers, or Forces. Shiro Ryuu saw this as an oppurtunity to make himself a stronger fighter. Just as he was ready to go to the teleporter to leave Pioneer 2 for Ragol, Fuyuko stopped him.

"You're not going to Ragol all by yourself are you? Don't be stupid, its suicide. Alot of other Hunters already went to Ragol and they are all in the hospital. You'll probably end up there too, or even dead. If you want to go that badly, why don't you at least have some others come with you."

"No, I fight alone, I always fight alone. Partners will only get in the way."

With those words, Shiro Ryuu went to Ragol alone, leaving Fuyuko really frustrated by his attitude. "Screw him! I hope those monsters get him! He's such an idiot!"

The teleporter from Pioneer 2 sent Shiro Ryuu to a forest. "So, this must be Ragol, nothing special so far."

All of a sudden however, he saw the ground beginning to rise up all around him. It wasn't an earthquake though, Shiro Ryuu found himself surrounded by a group of Boomas, four of them. They were all attacking him at the same time with their claws forcing him into defense. When he was able to read their attack patterns, he the sword on his right hand in order to defend one of the Booma's attacks and then used his left sword to stab right through the Booma's throat. The Booma fell to the ground with blood falling from his neck. After this, he believed that the fight will be much easier. He did an 'X' shaped slash to the torso of one with both swords at the same time and decapitated another one. The last one didn't seem smart enough to run away. Shiro Ryuu stabbed it with both swords at the same time and with the swords in the Booma, Shiro Ryuu slashed upward with the left hand and downward with the right causing a huge incision in the Booma that exposed all of its internal organs.

"The creatures here a really aggressive. But, what caused them to be this way?"

Shiro Ryuu was suprised by the animals in Ragol being the way they were, but he just continued to see what else was in Ragol. He had a feeling that something was behind him, but didn't think it was too serious. He continued forward until he finally started to hear footsteps. When the footsteps stopped, he turned around to a downward slash with his right hand which split the head of an animal in two. The animal looked to be a Barbarous Wolf. "What is this thing?"

He saw more Barbarous and Savage Wolves ready to attack him. He saw one that was a different color--blue instead of green like the other wolves-- which appeared to be the leader of them. He did an upward slash with his left sword and a downward slash with the other which sent th blue wolf's body bloodied and lifeless. The wolves all felt that they had lost the will to live. They all howled and attacked Shiro Ryuu recklessly, but their attacks didn't seem to do much damage and they died much easilier than the previous two wolves. Shiro Ryuu drew his large sword and did a single horizontal slash that killed all of them in one blow. With all of the wolves dead, he continued on to see more of the Forest.

Meanwhile in Pioneer 2, Fuyuko was in the hospital helping the nurses by healing the sick. Aside from her skills with the double saber and partisan, she also has skill with magic which is not uncommon as she is a newman. She was casting Resta and Anti on all of those who were sick and injured and asking everyone how Ragol is like. "Whatever you do, don't go to Ragol alone, those monsters are too much for any person to handle alone, whether you're a human, android, newman, or beast, those creatures are very vicious and powerful."

Fuyuko was too worried about him to concentrate on helping with the patients, so she left the hospital. In any case, there weren't too many patients left to be healed so she wasn't needed anymore. She went to the city to hang around and thought to herself "Why does he want to become stronger? Is that the only reason he became a Hunter? What a stupid ambition."

Chapter 4 - Two Dragons Clash!

Stained with the blood of the monsters he has killed, Shiro Ryuu continues his run through the forest of Ragol. He saw yellow bird-like creatures which were known as Rag Rappies, but he didn't fight them as he didn't see them as too much of a threat. However, he saw a blue one holding a very intrigueing weapon which looked to be a slicer. He decided to fight it. He used the butt of his sword's handle to the Rappie's face in order to knock it out. It was lying there lifelessly but Shiro Ryuu could tell that it was just playing dead. After the Rappie finally got up, Shiro Ryuu hit it one more time to make it drop its weapon. He felt that it had special powers but didn't know exactly what. He decided to use a telepipe to go back to Pioneer 2 so that he can see a tekker.

As he came back to Pioneer 2, he went to the store to stock up on items and then went to meet a tekker who revealed this unknown weapon to be a Diska of Braveman, it was a slicer which can sacrifice the wielder's life for a very strong attack, which the tekker warned him not to use carelessly. Shiro Ryuu got out of the store just in time to bump into Fuyuko again, someone who has been annoying him alot lately. Fuyuko wanted to warn him about something serious in Ragol, about a monster that is much stronger than the ones he killed. "I was at the hospital and I remember this one guy telling us about this one creature that is much stronger than the others. He was in a party of four other guys and they couldn't stop this thing. They said that it looked like a dragon, it kept killing them so they had to be transported back here. Whatever you do, please, just don't fight that dragon."

Shiro Ryuu kept a stern face and just walked past Fuyuko to return to the telepipe. Fuyuko decided to go to the telepipe as well. As they met in the forest, Shiro Ryuu told her "Go back, its too dangerous for you."

Fuyuko grinned and said "You underestimate me, if you're gonna fight that dragon, at least let me help you."

Shiro Ryuu sighed "Whatever"

Another pack of Boomas and Wolves started attacking. Fuyuko pulled out her Double Saber and said "Let me show you what I can do."

Fuyuko displayed a beautiful, dance-like skill with the Double Saber, yet it was very deadly. She landed plenty of slash combinations on all of the monsters, killing them all very easily. For the first time, Shiro Ryuu showed some emotion as he smirked and told her "Nice, you're pretty skilled with that. Sorry for thinking you'd get killed."

A huge nest-looking thing started coming down with huge bug-like creatures escorting it to the ground. Fuyuko hid behind Shiro Ryuu and screamed "AAAHHHH!!!! I HATE BUGS!!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif"

Shiro Ryuu just sighed "I can't believe this, you can kill Boomas and Wolves without problems and you're afraid of bugs!"

"OF COURSE! THEY'RE SLIMY AND DISGUSTING, AND, AAAHHH!!!, ONE OF THEM LANDED ON ME!! KILL IT! KILL IT AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! NOW THERE'S A WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM!!!"

"Perfect, now I can try this out."

Shiro Ryuu drew his new weapon, the Diska of Braveman. He used the throwing blade to hit all of the giant bug creatures, the blade was bouncing off from one target to the next like a pinball in a pinball machine. Shiro Ryuu kept throwing blades at them until they were all killed, and eventually, pulled out his two sabers to kill the nest.

After more strolling around the Forest, they saw another creature, one that looked more dangerous than the other ones and resembled a gorilla, but much bigger. It lept at the two Hunters and began punching them. As it was about to punch Fuyuko, Shiro Ryuu lept right in front of her and took a punch to the solar plexus. Although in pain, Shiro Ryuu got up. Fuyuko casted Shifta and Deband which made them stronger than they normally are. The gorilla like creature which was called a Hildebear was breathing fire from its mouth, but both Hunters were able to dodge them. Shiro Ryuu used one of his swords to sever one of the Hildebear's legs and the other to decapitate it. Shiro Ryuu said "This might make a nice trophy. Might wanna keep this. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cool.gif"

Fuyuko replied "Yup, just as I guessed, you're a wierdo. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif"

It seems like there are no more monsters in the Forest that are attacking the Hunters until all of a sudden, Shiro Ryuu saw a dome. The two went there and saw a path that led underneath the ground.

"Fuyuko, I think you should be careful, I sense something really big in there."

"Alright. I'll cast shifta and depand, and if you need, I'll also cast resta."

"Ok, you ready? If you don't want to fight whatever's in there, now's your chance."

"No, I'm ready to fight that thing, maybe its the dragon those people in the hospital were talking about."

"Okay, time to kill this dragon."

The two went under the dome and entered a volcano-like cave where they saw a huge, red dragon flying down. The Dragon began by breathing fire at the two of them but Fuyuko came close to him and slashed at his feet while Shiro Ryuu stayed in front of him to slash at his head. He jumped on the dragon's head and stabbed its neck but the dragon tried to shake him off. Shiro Ryuu used his swords which were stabbed into the dragon's neck as a handle so that he can stay on, but was thrown off with the swords still stuck in its neck. The dragon dug a hole underground. Shiro Ryuu and Fuyuko thought the dragon had retreated until they saw the ground rising up and coming forward like a tsunami. They were both hit but Fuyuko was able to cast resta. The dragon had come up from the ground thinking that it had won. But Fuyuko saw that its legs were worn down from all of the strikes she gave them with her double saber. She went for the legs again and the dragon went down. Having lost his two sabers, Shiro Ryuu resorted to his giant sword and finally, cut the dragon's head off while it was down. The Dragon dropped what looked like a pair of swords, but they looked different from the ones Shiro Ryuu was previously wieilding. The swords were the length of a katana but it had blue, cold photon blades. "Shiro Ryuu, were both hurt and tired from this dragon, I think we should go to Pioneer 2 so that we can report this to the Principle and to get some rest."

"Alright, and besides, I would like to see what this new weapon could do. Good job Fuyuko, maybe we can spar once in a while, you're pretty tough. Well, back to Pioneer 2, later."

"Sure, that'll be great. Alright, see you later http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif".

Upon return to Pioneer 2, Shiro Ryuu went to see the tekker again. "I'm gonna get rich if you keep coming to me at this rate, let me see what you have now. Wow, this one is very interesting, its so sharp, the photon energy is so cold. Oh yes, I know, it can only be a Yamato. These swords are very strong, stronger than just using a pair of common sabers. These swords can freeze your enemies as well."

Having lost his two sabers in his fight against the dragon, Shiro Ryuu felt that it was a small price to pay for a pair of much stronger swords.

Yay for stories! I wish there were more of them around these parts.

I must warn you, however, against what is known as "transcribing the game." It's an error lots of fanfiction authors make when they're starting out. Basically, what you've done here in four chapters is pretty faithfully describe a VHard forest run. Since everyone here has played PSO and likely has gotten to VHard on at least one character, a story like this is will just be too predictable and vanilla to really keep many people reading unless you cook up some interesting plot twists, memorable characters, or better yet, both.

Another issue I see is the use of smilies in the dialogue. While I'll admit they did make me grin, they're not what you'd consider professional looking. Instead of putting a wink at the end of a character's sentence, you should describe it with text.


"Sure, that'll be great. Alright, see you later http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif".

...would read much better as...


"Sure, that'll be great. Alright, see you later," Fuyuko replied with a flirty wink.

There are a lot of other littleish things you could work on, including varying sentence length and structure. I see that a lot of the sentences in your story are simple descriptions like, "________ did _______ to _________." Sometimes all it takes is http://www.thesaurus.com/ open in another tab to liven up a lot of those previously bland-sounding passages.

Anyway, keep going. There's nowhere to go from here but up, so keep working on this story. You might also want to check out the archive of stories that PSOW hosts for inspiration. Good luck!

I hope my first season was an exception to the transcribing thing...anyways, I can't pretend to be an expert on this, but I'll offer my opinion.

The thing that strikes me here Shiro, is that your dialogue is rather stiff in a few places. Some of the things said didn't seem natural. I'll offer up an example.


"You're Shiro Ryuu, right? My name is Fuyuko, nice to meet you!"

"Oh great, people are beginning to know me, this really sucks."

All right, I don't doubt that Shiro is as anti social as he's coming off, so it's perfectly fine that he's essentially telling the hot girl to screw off. However, it would have been better accompanied by an action like a sigh preceding the turning down of easy tail.


"There's nothing wrong with a little attention, you know. You just can't be some anti-social hermit all the time."

"Whatever, I'm going home to practice. See you later."

Basically what I'm getting at here is that a 'hmm', 'oh', 'hmph' or some minor action can greatly enhance your dialogue. Fuyuko shifts straight from gushing praise to giving life advice without skipping a beat and it's kind of jarring.

All that said, they both seemed really alive after slaying the insects, filled with emotion and what not. If you can maintain that kind of life more often, you have some good characters on your hands I think.

Chapter 5 - Another Who Wishes to be the strongest

Shiro Ryuu went to Ragol again to try out his new swords. Their icy blades left behind a freezing trail of ice in the wounds of the monsters, ensuring the monsters an extremely cold death. Sometimes, these swords would even freeze the monsters completely, making them vulnerable to more attacks. "These swords are great."

Shiro Ryuu then heard a male voice saying "Impressive, not many swordsmen are able to wield those kinds of swords around so easily. Its one thing to be able to wield two daggers, but its much more difficult wielding two blades when they are both the length of a saber."

He turned around to see another person, apparently another HUmar with long black hair and very narrow eyes. He was wielding a Double Saber-looking weapon, similar to Fuyuko's except that it was blue. A Wolf was about to sneak behind the HUmar, and just before Shiro Ryuu was about to warn him, the HUmar turned around and did three horizontal slashes with his double saber which left three fatal lacerations on the wolf that looked to be the size a person's arm. The HUmar chuckled, walked away and said "Perhaps we should challenge eachother to a fight sometime, it would be really fun."

Shiro Ryuu was impressed with this man's skills and said "What about now?"

"Right now? This is really getting interesting."

Shiro Ryuu was also interested in this HUmar, he was glad to finally have a worthy opponent. Both Hunters drew their swords, Shiro Ryuu using his Yamato and the other HUmar using the Twin Brand. The other HUmar did the initial attack by slashing with one side of his weapon which Shiro Ryuu blocked, but the HUmar attacked with the other side which Shiro Ryuu barely dodged. The HUmar then tried a verticle slash again, which was also blocked and Shiro Ryuu used his right hand sword to stab at the other HUmar's body. The other HUmar took advantage of this by stabbing down at Shiro's shoulder with his Twin Brand. The stab went right through his arm. Shiro Ryuu saw that the other HUmar was vulnerable after attacking so he used his left hand sword to slash diagonally down at the torso. The other HUmar backed away but not enough to avoid an injury. Shiro Ryuu came forward to attack his opponent's neck with his left sword and stopped a centimeter before actually making contact, but close enough to leave a cut.

"Looks like we have a draw" said the other HUmar, Shiro Ryuu looked down to see that the Twin Brand had a blade right next to Shiro Ryuu's neck as well. Both HUmars sheathed their swords and went their own separate paths. All of a sudden however, Shiro Ryuu's wound on his arm caused him to bleed profusely. Blood was coming out of his shoulder like water coming out from a punctured bottle. He then began to black out and lose conciousness. He was watching flashbacks of a young, asian, ablino boy with an abusive father. The father was breaking an empty glass bottle on his wife and stomped her repeatedly before pulling out a gun. Then he heard a young girl saying "Don't worry, everything is going to be alright."

Shiro Ryuu woke up and saw a girl with blue, shoulder-length hair wearing a robe with her hands over Shiro Ryuu's shoulder wound.

"Who...who are...you?" he said, still feeling weak.

"I'm a Force looking around in Ragol, my name is Yumi, and I'm guessing you are Shiro Ryuu."

"Don't tell me you're one of my fans."

"Don't worry, I'm nothing like those other people, I don't want to bother you or anything, I just want to help you with your wounds."

"I just have to get stronger."

Shiro Ryuu appeared to be dissappointed after his fight with the other HUmar. Although he was glad to see a worthy rival, he felt like he lost after having the need for someone else to help him heal his wound.

"Hey, even the best fighter would get injured, its nothing to be ashamed of." Yumi said with a kind, gentle smile.

"Anyway, thanks for healing my wound. Nice to meet someone who is calmer than everyone else."

"No problem, just helping out." said Yumi. "By the way, how did you get this wound anyway? What kind of monster did this?"

"I don't really want to talk about his." said Shiro Ryuu, worried because of a law prohibiting fighters from fighting amongst eachother outside of a simulation room.

"It was another Hunter, wasn't it?"

"Just don't tell the officials or anyone else. I don't want rumours to spread."

"OK. Anyway, I have to see more of his place, Good bye."

"Bye." Shiro said as he walked away. He was thinking about the style that other HUmar used. "That guy, I didn't even get his name, but his style looked very similar to Fuyuko's. However, this guy seemed a bit better. Could he have possibly trained with her? Maybe I'll ask her about this guy."

Yumi continued looking around. "That poor man, he looked so intimidating, but at the same time, so sad and lonely." she said, refering to Shiro Ryuu. She saw another wounded Hunter, this time with black hair and narrow eyes, the same one Shiro Ryuu fought with. "So, you must be the one he was fighting with."

"You mean that albino?"

"I understand some of you like fighting, but why not in a simulation room?"

"Its much more exciting in real life, the nervousness, the fear, the feeling that you may actually die makes it much more exciting, its much different from the simulation where you know you're coming back even after being fatally wounded."

Yumi said "But its illegal for Hunters to fight eachother for real, well, looks like you don't need much help from me. You're wounded but it doesn't look too bad. What is your name anyway?"

The HUmar said "Rinau"

"Okay then, later."

Rinau walked off without saying a word. He touched the wound on his neck given to him by Shiro Ryuu and laughed. "This Shiro Ryuu, he is a strong fighter, I want to fight you again, Shiro Ryuu. Don't you dare get killed here in Ragol. I am the only one allowed to kill you." He saw blood coming out from his neck and drank it. He loved to see blood, whether its the blood of his opponent or his own, he gets more into the fight as he sees more blood, especially if its his own blood.

Yumi thought to herself "I'd figure he and Shiro Ryuu would fight eachother, but he is much scarier than Shiro Ryuu, he smells like blood. At least Shiro Ryuu is much easier to be around, even if he is quiter and appears to be more anti-social than Rinau."

Shiro Ryuu returned to Pioneer 2 to look for Fuyuko. Then he saw a female voice saying "Hey! What brings you here Mr. I hate being around people."

"Fuyuko, I want to talk to you about someone. I saw a male human who was very good with a double saber, and the way he wields it looks very similar to yours. What I want to know is, did you know anyone with black hair who was any good that trained with you?"

"Well, the only guy I can think of was named Rinau, but he was expelled. All he ever wanted was to be stronger and to be a killer. He kept it secret but the instructor found out about it. I always thought he was pretty scary and demented. His eyes were very narrow and he always had that creepy grin on his face, especially when he was bleeding. At first I had a bit of a crush on him until I got to learn more about him. He's very good looking, but he's crazy. Wait a minute, why in the hell do you want to know about someone with black hair."

"Rival?" Fuyuko said in shock. "You, you're gonna fight that guy?"

Chapter 6 - Rinau, the one who trained with Fuyuko

Fuyuko was shocked when she heard Shiro Ryuu tell her that he wanted to fight with Rinau. "Don't even think about fighting that guy, Shiro! He's crazy! He's totally obsessed with being stronger, he's not like a dragon or that idiot you beat up, he's much, much tougher. He won't even think twice about killing you, he loves killing people, which is why he was banned from where we trained." said Fuyuko to Shiro Ryuu

"I know, I figured it out just by looking into his eyes and by the smell of blood around him."

"Then, why?"

"Because he's strong."

"But, he doesn't like fighting in simulations because he prefers to kill people for real, and its illegal for Hunters to fight other Hunters, both of you will go to prison."

"Hmph" said Shiro Ryuu with a smirk as he walked away. As he was leaving, Fuyuko saw a cut on his neck. "No way, Shiro Ryuu! Did you...?" Shiro Ryuu just turned around to look at her for a moment, and then left. "Did that guy fight..?"

Yumi came and asked "You mean Rinau? That scary looking HUmar?" She whispered into Fuyuko's ear "Yes, they fought eachother, both of them had been cut on their necks so they probably saw the fight as a draw."

"How do you know?"

"I was listening to the both of you, and I saw Shiro Ryuu in Ragol with a hole right through his right shoulder with blood coming out. I was there in time and I was able to heal him."

Yumi was now with a friend, a all, bulky, black HUcast with a pointy crest on his head. He followed her around as though he was her bodyguard. "I also ran into Rinau. Shiro Ryuu was somewhat intimidating, but Rinau was much worse to be around, it was his aura, something about him that I didn't like."

"Shiro Ryuu, why do you want to fight him?"

Rinau was still in Ragol killing all of the monsters inhabiting it. He eventually went ot the location under the dome where the Dragon once was, but now, the Dragon lay lifeless with only one foot. "So, Shiro Ryuu must have done this. Shiro Ryuu, I'll show what it is to be a master swordsman." He kept going until he reached the underground caves. He saw monsters that looked like altered versions of the creatures from the forest. The shark-like creatures in particular looked like the boomas from the forest. He saw four of them ready to attack him, but he charged at them and did at least twelve slashes with blinding speed using his Twin Brand. Two of the sharks were cut in half, another in three pieces and the fourth one had the part of the head above the jaw severed off exposing half of the brain with a geiser of green blood. "Weaklings, these creatures are all a bunch of weaklings." said Rinau. "When is there going to be someone or something worth killing?" He kept going through the caves without killing the monsters because of his boredom and loss of interest in killing such weak creatures, despite the fact that these monsters were stronger than those from the forest. As he continued, he reached an area that was not as hot as the previous volcanic one, but it was very cold. Still, Rinau continued passing through the monsters until he saw this one particular monster that grew bigger and stronger as it killed other monsters. "Finally, a worthy opponenet." This monster looked like the Dragon from before, but smaller, but still stronger than the other monsters. As it got big enough, Rinau charged at it until he found himself on the floor after taking a beam from the dragon. The dragon flew but Rinau followed it and stabbed through its head with a single brand he picked up and then used his twin brand to behead the dragon.

"Finally, a creature that has done damage to me." he said, but he continued on to another area of the caves, this time it was hot again. "Shit, how long is this cave?" Rinau was getting bored with the length of the caves until he finally saw a teleporter that led to a sewer. He went in and found himself on a raft that was floating on water. "What is this place?"

Suddenly, a long, worm-like crustacean creature appeared from under the water. Rinau grinned and got his Twin Brand ready. "Time to kill this creature. I'll show Shiro Ryuu what real strength is!"

The creature known as Del Rol Le shot purple things at Rinau which were all dodged. Then, it tried landing spiked, bombs but Rinau destroyed one of them and got out of the way of the other four. Del Rol Le latched on to the raft, which Rinau felt was a big mistake for the creature. He repeatedly unleashed combinations on the creature's head until the skull-like shell broke off. Del Rol Le latched off and went back under water. Just as Rinau thought that the creature was finally defeated, it surfaced up and began emitting purple beams from its mouth, but all of them were dodged. Now it tried to fly over Rinau and drop rocks down on him, but at that moment, Rinau jumped up to do a slash at Del Rol Le's opposite direction, causing a fatal wound going across its entire body. This time, Rinau knew that he had won. "Shiro Ryuu, how do you like that, this creature is much stronger than that Dragon you have just defeated."

He decapitated the creature and took its head as proof of his victory. He then returned to Pioneer 2 with Del Rol Le's head in his hand. Fuyuko and Yumi happened to be hanging out in Ragol when Rinau came from the caves with Del Rol Le's head to prove that he killed the monster. "Fuyuko, nice to meet you." he said with a demented smile. "I heard about you being friends with my enemy Shiro Ryuu. I want you to give him a message." He handed over the creature's head to her, which Fuyuko dropped in disgust. "You, you're still the same. You'll never change, won't you? You've become too obsessed with getting stronger." She was about to pull out her Double Saber but Yumi stopped her and said "Don't do it, you'll get arrested. Lets leave, like you said, we shouldn't have anything to do with him. And you, Rinau, why do you want to kill Shiro Ryuu? What has he done?"

"We are the same, Shiro Ryuu and I. We both want to be the strongest fighter."

Fuyuko yelled "Shut up! There's no way Shiro Ryuu is anything like you! He be anti-social and have the same ambition as you, but he's nothing like you."

Diateri, the HUcast that was with Yumi picked up the head of Del Rol Le and said "Yumi, Fuyuko, we should get out." With that, the android and the two girls left. They went to Fuyuko's house. Fuyuko sent a message to Shiro Ryuu telling him that she had something Rinau wanted to give to him. After a short moment of the three waiting for Shiro Ryuu, he finally came. Fuyuko said "Rinau wanted me to give this to you as a message. It was a creature he killed. I heard its called Del Rol Le, and it was alot stronger than the Dragon you killed, and on top of that, he was not very badly hurt."

Shiro Ryuu took the head. "Rinau, I'll get stronger. You want to kill me, but I'll make sure it doesn't happen. You are a Hunter who has given up his own honor. You will die by my sword, I guarantee that."

Chapter 7 - Graveyard of Hunters

After running through the mines which he discovered after killing Del Rol Le, Rinau has been overwhelmed with the boredom of fighting monsters which he considered "weaklings", so he decided that he should turn to another form of challenge, other Hunters. He saw one that he liked, a RAcast wielding a WALS-MKII, a powerful rifle. "You, Ranger! Want to fight?"

"Not against you" the Ranger replied "You should know its illegal for us Hunters to fight eachother. If we should fight, why don't we fight in the simulation rooms?" Rinau repsonded by slashing him with his Twin Brand. The Ranger jumped out of range and fired his rifle from afar. Rinau continued to run straight forward while blocking all of the bullets until he was close enough to use his double-bladed weapon, where he severed both of the Ranger's arms and then slashed his torso horizontally nearly cutting him in half, and then another slash to complete the job. He walked away as the carcass left behind a pond of blood.

In Fuyuko's dorm, Yumi, Diateri, and Shiro Ryuu have left the house. Fuyuko was taking a bath while watching the news and saw something that struck her attention. 'Warning, all Hunters of Ragol, it has been announced that there is a criminal within Pioneer 2, a Hunter has been killing other Hunters. He is a HUmar wielding a Twin Brand, other details are not known at this time.' "Rinau, I know its him, that sick man." She sent a message to Shiro Ryuu, "Shiro, are you watching the news? It said that there are Hunters who are getting killed in Ragol by a Hunter. It must be Rinau."

Shiro Ryuu replied to the message "I'd figure, the only person able to kill him is me. Whatever you do, don't fight him, tell the same to Yumi and Diateri. I'm sure that HUcast may be strong, but Rinau is something else. Well, anyway, see you later, I off to sleep. Good night."

"Okay, good night." Fuyuko said, then she sent the message to Yumi and Diateri telling them not to fight Rinau, not even to get near him. After that, Fuyuko felt like relaxing in her bathtub. "This feels so great, I was so dirty from those bugs and all that blood and dirt, and I haven't had the chance to take a nice bath in days." After finishing her bath, Fuyuko got out to dry up, put on her underwear, and went to bed.

Meanwhile at Shiro Ryuu's dorm, he was having a dream similar to his hallucinations after his fight with Rinau, with the same albino asian boy with his abusive father. This time however, the father pulled out his gun and shot his wife. The albino boy saw it and was shocked. The father was beating him up with a wooden chair, breaking it on him. Shiro Ryuu woke up in shock. "That dream, I had it again." He went to the get a glass of water and returned to his dorm to go back to sleep.

The next morning, Shiro Ryuu was still thinking about his dream. "Why do I keep having that dream?" Fuyuko snuck up behind him and said "Hey!" while tapping his shoulder. Shiro Ryuu turned around with lightning speed, but saw that it was Fuyuko. "Oh, its you."

"So, what's up?"

"Nothing much, just a bad dream."

"Oh, well, you can't let a bad dream get in the way of having a good day, now can you?" Fuyuko said with a smile and a wink.

Shiro Ryuu replied with a slight smile "You seem cheerful today, back to your old self. You looked worried when I talked about Rinau guy, if that kind of disturbed you."

"Whats wrong with you? You're acting a little different, before you were all like 'hmph, whatever, leave me alone', but now, you seem a little more gentle."

"Just a little nervous around strangers, but I still don't like being in large crowds.", suddenly, the TV showed more breaking news. 'This just in! More Hunters have been killed, and they have similar wounds to the one killed by the same HUmar who killed a Ranger yesterday.' Shiro Ryuu thought to himself 'Rinau, you have disgraced yourself, I swear, I will kill you.' and then he heard from the news: 'We have more information on this Hunter, he has black, shoulder length hair, narrow eyes, stands at 180 centimeters, and weighs in around 75 kilograms. The name has not been confirmed yet, but has been said to begin with an "R". Any Hunter who can turn in the man who has these traits will earn up to 90,000 meseta.'

"Shiro Ryuu, I know for sure now, thats Rinau."

Shiro Ryuu told her "There's a bounty on his head, thats real bad. Now other Hunters are going to go after him. Now I can't search for him that easily because there will now be alot of people searching for him, not only that but they will die needlessly."

"You're right."

"I must get stronger. No matter what, he is my rival, and only I am allowed to kill him."

'Shiro Ryuu, you're still thinking about that getting stronger nonsense?' Fuyuko thought to herself. 'Why, why do you want to be stronger? Both you and Rinau.'

Chapter 8 - Shiro Ryuu, why do you want to be stronger?

After the TV stopped showing the news on the murdered Hunters, Shiro Ryuu went off alone to a quiet place so that he can meditate. During his meditation, he began having disturbing thoughts in his head, such as hallucinations and flashbacks from the dream he had the previous night. The albino boy and his father were attending the mother's funeral along with her friends and other relatives. The albino was doing what he can to stay away from his father, afraid of living with him alone, but none of the other relatives wanted to take him, either because of his appearance or because he is not their biological son. After The funeral, he returned home with his father and the father started beating him up with a belt. "Stupid boy! I'm the reason you're even existing! Don't try to fucking leave me!" The ten-year old albino tried to fight back, but was simply overpowered by his dad who was a full-grown man.

He was then locked up in his room bleeding and bruised from the beatings. His shirt was too bloody so he had to change it. He had plenty of small scars on his chest, and a really big one on his back in the shape of an 'X'. Then, he tried to run away from home by sneaking away from the window during midnight. He was then in the streets all by himself. The area he lived in was very horrible looking, he was brought up in a poorer family than most. Even there, he was shunned for being an albino. He was left in the streets to fend for himself like a hobo.

However, he was lucky when he went to a different area of the city. This part of the city was much cleaner and had technology that was lightyears ahead of the area in which he lived in. There were flying vehicles, not like the outdated wheeled vehicles of the past century and there were people called Hunters who were either specialists in blades, guns, or magic. The child was infatuated with the ideas of bushido, something which he got beaten up by his dad for. His father had monotheistic religious beliefs which didn't tolerate anything else so he beat him up for even bringing up the ideas of samurai.

He was lucky when he saw a bearded asian man carrying two swords in the left side of his waste came up to him and asked "Boy, where are you parents?" The albino boy replied "I have none, and I have no name either.", as though he was trying to dettach himself from his past. The instructor must have known this and asked "Dettachment, from family? From your past? Young boy, why don't you come with me, I'll show you how you can survive in this world. You will be stronger. Since you have abondoned your name, I will give you a new one. From now on, your name is Shiro Ryuu, which translates as 'White Dragon', perfect for your appearance, and your strength after training with me, will be equal to that of a dragon. And also, you can call me Shinkichi Kajiwara."

The albino boy, now known as Shiro Ryuu went with Shinkichi, his new sensei. After that, Shiro Ryuu snapped out of the flashbacks and mentally returned to the real world. After that, he went to the gym to work out, but he couldn't stop thinking about the flashbacks he kept having. He put on a pair of boxing gloves and began hitting the heavy bag. His instructor Shinkichi, aside from teaching him Niten Ichi Ryu also taught him Muay Thai, just in case Shiro Ryuu may be disarmed so that he won't be defenseless. He was doing kicks with his shins, punches, and knee strikes to the bag until the bag eventually got torn apart and had to be replaced.

After leaving the gym, he took a shower, got dressed, and hung out in an empty lobby, where Fuyuko and Yumi managed to find him. Fuyuko told Shiro Ryuu "You know, you may be quiet, but you are very easy to read, I'd figure you would be right here since nobody else is. I have something to ask, why do you want to be stronger? Why do you have this obsession with fighting and being a better fighter? What drives you to keep following this ambition?"

Shiro Ryuu was no longer able to keep it to himself. "You want to know why? I don't think you want to hear it, its a very painful story to hear."

"I don't mind" said Yumi

"Yeah, me niether" said Fuyuko

"Alright, then...."

After telling the story, the two girls were in feeling pity for him. "How can someone live like that?" Fuyuko said, "It seems like you lived a horrible life, your dad was abusive, and you were rejected by society for the way you looked, I'm, sorry about all of this." Tears began to run down her eyes. Shiro Ryuu said "Don't worry, its the past, I have done what I can to abondon it. I wanted to be stronger because if you are strong, people respect you. If someone tries to hurt you, you can just fight back, something I couldn't have done when I was a child against my father. Also, if I'm strong, then I would never have to rely on anyone to save me. I was brought up on this idea that praying to a god would help me, but where is this god? Where was he when my father killed my mother and abused and beaten me in a brutal manner?"

Yumi said "Shiro Ryuu, is this why you want to be stronger? So that you can get respected? So that you won't need anyone to help you because you can help yourself?", after that she left, leaving Fuyuko alone with Shiro Ryuu.

"So, thats why. I can understand now. At first I didn't think you would be any better than Rinau, but now, I see. But, you just can't keep living for that reason alone. I...I'm afraid you may end up like Rinau."

"No! I will never end up like him." Shiro Ryuu reprimanded. "That man has no honor. I, in the other hand will always keep living by the code of bushido. That is the difference between me and Rinau. Where he would go to extreme measures, I would get stronger only through honorable means. I am, after all, a samurai."

Chapter 9 - Reverser! Yumi, What Happened in your past?

In her dorm room, Yumi was on a computer with a pile of old looking books on her bed. She was trying to do some research on a technique that if performed may bring someone back from the dead, or at least save them just as they are in the brink of dying. She was devestated by all of the deaths that have happened recently, and she wanted a way to help them out. What she found out was that only one with an exceptionally high mental strength will be able to perform such a technique, not even Newmen--who are supposedly superior in terms of mental strength-- will not be able to perform it if they are trained mainly as Hunters or Rangers, pnly a Force-- even an android or beast-- can perform it if they have the mental strength to do so. At this time, Yumi went to Ragol to look for dead bodies for her to practice Reverser on. She found a dead Booma, and tried to revive it. She concentrated as hard as she can, but only to revive the Booma for a brief period. This move left Yumi with a minor headache, so she had to rest for a while. She met Shiro Ryuu in the forest while practicing Reverser, which Shiro Ryuu immediately realized and told her "Its futile, reviving people from the dead is useless. People die all the time and you have to deal with it. Its none of your business anyway if people you don't even know die."

Yumi got angry and slapped him on the face. "How can you be so cold! Many people need my help! I just can't let people die needlessly while their friends and families have to mourn the deaths of their loved ones who died too young. I just can't sit idly by while this happens!"

"Lets say that you do master Reverser, if you do, people will have high expectations for you, this will bring an unnecessary burden on you. Are you sure you want to bear this burden of a person's life on your shoulders alone?", after saying that, Shiro Ryuu walked off.

"Bear the burden...of a person's life? What does he mean by that?"

Shiro Ryuu found a nice, quiet place for him to meditate. He was sitting in a lotus position, having his right foot over his left thigh and vice versa and the back of his right hand on the palms of his left hand. After a while of meditating, he felt something sharp behind his neck, and in one instant, he drew one of his swords to get the sword out of the way. He saw the person he was waiting for, Rinau.

"Shiro Ryuu, today is the time for you to die."

"Rinau, you have lost all honor and pride. Now you're just a common murderer. I can not let you go around killing people. Today, you will die."

"But you said earlier to the Force that people die all the time and that its not of your business."

"You knew I was here all along."

Rinau had Yumi with his left arm around her neck and his Twin Brand pointed at her.

"Rinau, you coward, taking a hostage."

"So what if I am a coward? As long as I get the job done!"

Rinau used his Twin Brand to slice of Yumi's robe, stripping her to her underwear. Yumi tried to pull Rinau's hair, and then all of it fell off. The "Twin Brand" fell off and separated into two separate normal brands.

"You're not Rinau at all" Shiro Ryuu said with a sigh. He went up to the impersonator and uppercutted him to the chin with his left hand, then grabbed the back of his head and landed a left knee strike to the liver, causing the Rinau impersonator to wince in pain. Shiro Ryuu asked "What the hell are you doing impersonating the murderer?"

He saw nine other men with guns surrounding him and Yumi. "Yumi, hang on tight." Shiro Ryuu ran through the circle of the men and put Yumi somewhere safe. "Yumi, stay here, I'll take care of these men. No need to help me, they are all just thugs."

The men were firing bullets at Shiro Ryuu, which were all frozen by his Yamato. Then, Shiro Ryuu was slashing the arms of all of the thugs, which froze them so they would not be able to fire their guns. "All ten of you, stay out of trouble. You're lucky I am not the murderer, he would have killed you already."

The leader who was impersonating Rinau said "Screw you!", grabbed two mechguns and tried to shoot at him, but Shiro Ryuu got angry and used one of his swords to stab his stomach and the other to slash diagonally down at his clavical, which fatally wounded him. The others tried to run off but Yumi casted Rabarta which froze all of them.

Yumi went over the dead body so that she can try Reverser again. "Yumi, there's no need, a man like that only wants to cause trouble, we don't need him in Pioneer 2."

"Come on, give him a second chace. He just made a mistake." Yumi placed her hands over the carcass and concentrated even harder than before. The wounds Shiro Ryuu gave the man were closing up and the man's eyes began to open. Shiro Ryuu looked in shock. "I didn't think anyone can perform that technique so well."

Yumi winked and got up. Shiro Ryuu blushed as Yumi was still only wearing her underwear. He picked up Yumi's torn up robe and told her "You should at least put something on."

Yumi screamed "AAAHH!! Didn't notice! Thanks."

"About Reverser, I'm not sure you should use it so much. Try doing it only when it is really needed. I saw you practicing, and you didn't feel so good afterwards."

"But, I'm ok, now..."

Yumi was feeling physically weak, so Shiro Ryuu had to pick her up and take her to her dorm along with the gang so that he can turn them in to the authorities. He set up a telepipe to make it easier. He contacted Diateri to turn in the criminals and took Yumi to her dorm room. She woke up in her bed with her torn up robe on top of her like a blanket. Then she saw a message left behind by Shiro Ryuu which said "I'm sorry about what I said earlier. Just remember, try not to go too far as to mess with the law of life and death."

Yumi was confused by this message, "Why did he all of a sudden become accepting of me using Reverser?" She looked on her computer to see some more information about the technique. 'Reverser may bring someone from the dead, but it would only work within an hour of a person's death. Anything longer and the subject would not be able to be brought back to life.' She also looked to see as though something from her room was stolen. "My old newspapars, did he..?"

"So it only works one hour after the person's death or earlier. So I can't..."

Shiro Ryuu was alone in his dorm and thought to himself 'Yumi, I know what its like to lose your parents.' He took one of the newspapers which was ten years old that reported a well-known accident that killed thousands of people. Shiro Ryuu didn't read into the details, but read that the only survivor was a seven year old girl, who would be taken into an orphanage. After some research on this orphanage, it was very abusive and was closed down seven years later by the government. He also read that one of them, a 14-year old girl was taken in by a legendary female Newman Force named Yanil. 'Yumi, I had no idea you were part of that accident...you had to go through such pain after that as well, just like I did.'

Man, good stuff. I've been reading every chapter as soon as I see it posted.

One thing I'd like to point out is that Shiro Ryuu seems a little... bipolar, for lack of a better word. Sometimes he'll be cheerful and happy around Yumi and Fuyuko, and other times he just seems like a jerk who wishes they would leave him the hell alone. It's normal human behavior, of course, for emotion to shift and fluctuate, but he seems to have way too broad a range in his.

Anyway, I like the story a lot. How many more chapters do you think there will be?

Chapter 10 - Shiro Ryuu vs. Rinau, Yamato Broken!

Shiro Ryuu, alone in as usual in an empty lobby has been feeling very uneasy ever since he found out about Rinau killing Del Rol Le and coming out unscathed. He thought to himself "Is Rinau better than me? Can it be that I will not be able to defeat him?" He had these thoughts bothering him mostly in this day particularly. He decided to do some meditation to clear his head, as he believed that these thoughts will only make him lose focus. While he was meditating, Fuyuko came to the same lobby. As she approached Shiro Ryuu, he drew one of his Yamato swords, but as soon as he saw that it was only Fuyuko, he stopped with the sword at her neck. "I'm sorry.", he apologized.

"No, its alright. It was my fault, I should not have tried disturbing you. You're being bothered by something, aren't you? Could it be Rinau?" she asked.

"Its nothing too serious, I just have to clear my head."

Fuyuko saw how Shiro Ryuu was his usual self: quiet and not very talkative but felt something about him that wasn't usual of himself, she knew that Shiro Ryuu was not very comfortable with something, so she left him alone.

Meanwhile, Rinau, running through Ragol, appeared to have found himself a new weapon that was stronger than his Twin Brand, it was known as the Partisan of Lightning. He was in the Forest so that he can try out his new doulbe-bladed weapon. If he wanted, he can bring lightning to each slash, which may leave his enemies in a state of paralysis, leaving them vulnerable for him to kill them. He saw a RAcast who he thought would make for a worthy opponent. He stepped in front of him with his Partisan of Lightning as though ready to kill. The android drew out a pair of mechguns and tried to fire at him, but not before having his arms severed off. Rinau then used the weapon's abilities to shock the android, causing him unable to do anything. Rinau then finished him off with three quick slashes that left the RAcast in pieces. One of the android's partners, a HUbeast, got angry and charged at him with a partisan. Rinau cut the beast's weapon in half and then delivered a killing slash at the HUbeast's torso. After killing him, Rinau began laughing maniacilly, and tried to drink some of his blood.

Shiro Ryuu, after meditating, went to Ragol again to kill monsters as a way of venting out his uneasiness. During his run through the forest, he saw a dead android and beast. "Rinau did this, he's the only one I can think of who is this skilled."

"Shiro Ryuu! Good to see you realized that so quickly." said a familiar voice from behind, which then got into an angrier tone as he followed up "Now! You will share the same fate as them. Now is the time for you to die!"

"You are wrong, Rinau, you are the one who is going to die."

Shiro Ryuu ran towards Rinau with his right sword ready to attack, but it was a fake to set up a slash with his left sword, which Rinau barely dodged, but was still hurt by it. Shiro Ryuu noticed the new weapon Rinau was using. 'A Partisan of Lightning, I heard of that weapon, to be able to handle that weapon without electrifying himself, only a real swordsman can wield such a thing.' This time, Rinau was the aggressor, jumping up and doing a downward slash which Shiro Ryuu blocked with his swords. The slash, although blocked, left Shiro Ryuu in a state of shock, but was able to move just before Rinau tried to kill him, and grabbed his swords again. Rinau stabbed Shiro Ryuu's legs to make sure that next time, he won't be able to move. Shiro Ryuu lost feeling in his legs and dropped one of his swords, which Rinau grabbed and broke the hilt, making it unable to emit any photon energy and rendering it useless. This time, Rinau was convinced that he would kill Shiro Ryuu until Shiro Ryuu grabbed his other sword and slashed at Rinau's right shoulder, causing a painful wound and freezing it at the same time, leaving him unable to use his weapon. After that, he said "Looks like another draw."

Rinau got extremely furious and tried to strangle Shiro Ryuu with his other arm, which Shiro Ryuu also stabbed, but it was kept stuck on his shoulder. Rinau still managed to grab the sword and break its hilt as well. Unable to fight, Rinau walked away, angry that he still couldn't kill Shiro Ryuu. Shiro Ryuu was also angry, first that he couldn't finish his fight either and that he was immobile from the electricity of Rinau's weapon. Unable to move, Shiro Ryuu sent a message to Fuyuko and Yumi on his location and the location of the RAcast and HUbeast for Yumi to cast Reverser on.

He crawled with his hands to see the condition of his Yamato swords which no longer seemed to function properly anymore. After a short while, Fuyuko came to Shiro Ryuu's side while Yumi came to revive the RAcast and the HUbeast.

Fuyuko asked "Let me guess, Rinau, you fought with him again?"

"Yes, I needed to take away the thoughts bothering me, so I had to do what was right. I thought that killing Rinau would be the right thing to do."

When Yumi finally revived the Hunter and Ranger killed by Rinau, she went to Shiro Ryuu and Fuyuko to cast anti on Shiro Ryuu, which gave him back his mobility.

Fuyuko asked "So, did you finally kill him?"

"No" Shiro Ryuu replied, "It was another draw. Next time however, I will kill him."

Chapter 11 - Fuyuko's past with Rinau

Fuyuko, alone in her dorm and trying to sleep, but seemed to be having a case of insomnia. She went through the entire night without sleep. The next morning, she went to the same empty lobby as Shiro Ryuu. Shiro Ryuu, who would usually expect Fuyuko to be happy and cheerful, seemed to be physically and emotionally drained. At first, Shiro Ryuu would have thought that it would be nice for her to be mellow once in a while, but then he felt concerned. However, he felt that it was best for Fuyuko to deal with her own problems unless she wanted Shiro Ryuu to help her. Either way, he asked her "Do you need any help?"

"Oh, no, I'm alright, Shiro." she said with a drowsy smile. Shiro Ryuu left her to be alone and gave her sleeping pills. Fuyuko was having many problems, as though it was passed down from Shiro Ryuu to her. As she told Shiro Ryuu, she used to train with Rinau. Shiro Ryuu realized this looking at Rinau's style with a double saber, though his style was not as graceful as Fuyuko's, but was more skilled nonetheless. Shiro Ryuu heard about how Fuyuko hated Rinau, Shiro Ryuu understood this if Rinau did anything bad to her in the past.

Meanwhile, Fuyuko fell asleep in the lobby. It was then that she was having a dream with a young Newman girl who looked to be around 14 years old. She was practicing in a dojo, her instructor was a black android that had a human like face, that of a 20 year old male and a long pony tail running down his hair. There were many other students, but one of them that stood out the most was an 18-year old human male, he was one of the best in the school, even better than most of the adults. He had black, shoulder length hair and very narrow eyes that may appear scary to many people, but was popular to most of the girls in the school, including the pink haired newman girl.

Fuyuko's dream sequence then went three years later, when the newman girl was now 17 and the human male was 21. The newman girl, whom the human thought at first was just a child had grown up to be a nice person and he appeared to have a crush on her as well. Eventually, they started dating eachother. In one of their dates, the newman girl and the male human were attacked by a gang of thugs. The male human happened to have found a long stick and used it to smack all of the attackers on their heads, one of which had a broken skull as a result. At this point, the newman girl was feeling insecure as the human had no remorse, in fact he seemed to have thrived on killing this man.

Throughout their relationship, the newman girl got to realize more about what type of man her boyfriend was. The dream went more into the future to a year later when he was being very abusive to the girl. The newman girl told her instructor about this and took the human to a psychologist, who diagnosed the man as being sociopathic, thus giving the instructor a reason to kick him out of the school and never let him see the newman girl again. Then, on to a year later, the pink haired newman girl was on Pioneer 2, until all of a sudden, Fuyuko felt as thought someone was trying to pick her up, and she woke up from her dream. She looked up to see a long haired albino man holding her in his arms. "Shi...Shiro?" she said in a sleepy tone, and went back to sleep.

Shiro Ryuu took Fuyuko to her dorm room and decided to stay in the room with her as well so as to keep her company, though he wouldn't usully welcome company, he decided that it would be best for Fuyuko to have someone be with her, so he stayed. He saw a room that was somewhat typical of a girl her age, the computer was pink, as well as the blankets, and there were plenty of self-care products in the bathroom. Needless to say, he felt awkward to be in such a girly room, but decided to stay there anyway so he can make sure Fuyuko was alright. While she slept, he was meditating for half an hour until Fuyuko eventually woke up.

"Shiro? What are you doing here?"

"Thought you needed company." he said, though he had no emotion on his face as usual.

"I'm getting real worried about you Shiro, giving me company, now thats unlike you."

"Don't get the wrong idea, I know you're the type of person to want company, so I decided to stay here. I would have called Yumi, but I was unable to contact her. You seem to be having problems, I was the one worrying about you when you were in the lobby, you looked very drained."

Fuyuko was suprised to hear Shiro Ryuu say such things, since though he had a cold, quiet attitdue and seemed like he would want Fuyuko and Yumi to just leave him alone, she was suprised that Shiro Ryuu would feel concern for her or help Yumi with reverser and the thugs that attacked her.

Shiro Ryuu, finally able to contact Yumi, sent a message to her that Fuyuko needed someone to keep her company. When Yumi finally came, Shiro Ryuu thought it was time for him to go back to his own dorm. "Bye, and Fuyuko, you must not let the past bother you.", something Fuyuko seemed to take to heart.

After Shiro Ryuu left, Yumi asked Fuyuko about what was wrong, and Fuyuko chose to talk about her past with Rinau and their romantic relationship which was similar to the one in the dream she had. "Then, one year after Rinau was kicked out, he came back to the dojo and challenged the instructor to a fight, and killed him along with the other students in the school. I was lucky because I was injured and unable to attend class that day, but I heard the news the next day. From that point on, I decided to become a Hunter for the sole reason of getting revenge on him."

"Fuyuko, I'm sorry to hear about that."

"Shiro Ryuu however, told me not to dwell too much in the past, this was the same exact thing my instructor told me in his deathbed. Because of him, I tried to be a cheerful person so that I can brighten up a situation when it gets too grim." Tears ran down her eyes and Yumi hugged her to try to make her feel better.

Shiro Ryuu, alone in his dorm, went to a tekker to get his Yamato sword fixed, but the tekker told him that he refused as he was working on a weapon that was stronger than the Yamato. "Young man, I guarantee, this weapon is just like the Yamato, a pair of swords, but it is much more powerful, with this, you shall burn your enemies to death." As he finished, the tekker gave Shiro Ryuu the new pair of swords, which were known as Asuka. These swords were extremely hot, so only skilled swordsmen would be able to wield them without getting theirselves burned in the process.

As he left, Shiro Ryuu thought 'Rinau, I will kill you, not only to prove my own strength, but for Fuyuko as well.'

Chapter 12 - Fire vs. Lightning! Duel to the death one last time! Final chapter of the Rinau saga.

Shiro Ryuu entered the caves and went to where the waterfall is. He was wearing a pair of civilian pants and no shirt and began meditating under the waterfall. Despite the water having alot of pressure and being cold, it did not bother him because he was focused on one thing, killing Rinau.

Fuyuko, who wanted to visit Shiro Ryuu, tried going to his dorm, but she was told that the one living there had already got out. She decided to go to Ragol, specifically in the caves as she was told that Shiro Ryuu went there to meditate. As she went to the caves, she found a RAmarl about Shiro Ryuu. "Excuse me, did you see an albino HUamr with long hair pass by around here?"

The RAmarl replied "I think so, he looked like he was on his way to the waterfall." Fuyuko continued on, going to the waterfall. As she finally made it, she saw Shiro Ryuu meditating under the waterfall. When she arrived, Shirio Ryuu seemed like he had just happened to be finished meditating. Fuyuko gasped as she saw Shiro Ryuu without a shirt, which exposed an otherwise physically fit looking body covered with scars all over it. Some of the small scars on his back looked to be like those from a whip, while he also had a larger scar in the front running down from his right shoulder diagonally down to the the bottom, left side of his ribs. The back also had three large, verticle, parallel scars that ran down his entire back. Fuyuko cried just looking at him. "How can any person handle such punishment throughout their lives?" she asked.

Shiro Ryuu replied, with no emotion "I've been abused, and I have had faced death many times in my life. And now, I'm going to have yet another fight to the death, against him."

"You mean...Rinau?"

"Yes. Fuyuko, I want you to leave. I don't want you to get hurt or killed." he said as he began to walk away. Fuyuko tried to stop him, having her hands on his shoulders and her head against his back. "Shiro Ryuu, you've been through too much. I don't want you to go through so much pain all by yourself, I...". Fuyuko hesitated to go any further and Shiro Ryuu set up a telepipe for Fuyuko to return to Pioneer 2. After Fuyuko left, Shiro Ryuu went back to the volcanic part of the caves, where he and Rinau agreed would be the final location of their match. Finally, after waiting, Rinau finally arrived, Partisan of Lightning in hand while Shiro Ryuu wielded the Asuka.

Rinau had a manic look on his face while Shiro Ryuu looked cold as usual.

"Shiro Ryuu, today is the day that you will die."

"You are wrong, you are the one going to die. You have no honor, you were abusive to Fuyuko, killed her instructor who was also yours, and everyone else attending the school. Rinau, you will not get out of this fight alive!"

"Honor? Who has need for such outdated nonsense like honor? Right now, the only thing that matters is the winner of the fight."

"Rinau, when I first met you, I was happy to finally see a worthy opponent, but now, I am dissappointed in you. You will not die an honorable death, your death will be ugly, a dog's death."

Rinau got his Partisan of Lightning ready and dashed towards Shiro Ryuu, who deflected his attack. Both Hunters were trying to slash eachother, but all of them were blocked. The fight did not look to favor either one of the fighters as they were both equal in skill.

Meanwhile, Fuyuko was hanging out with Yumi when they overheard a conversation that a scientist said about Rinau, which revealed a very shocking secret about him. Fuyuko and Yumi talked to him about it and out of anger, dragged him to the caves and tried to take him where Shiro Ryuu and Rinau are fighting.

As Shiro Ryuu and Rinau continued fighting, the fight was still equal with both fighters either parrying or avoiding the other's attacks. Fuyuko, Yumi, and the scientist arrived at the battle scene. The girls remembered what the scientist had said about Rinau, "That damn accident of a creation, I knew he would be a problem if he existed." and the scientist repeated that line to Rinau. "You accident! I should have never created you!"

Rinau heard this and this time, went after the scientist and strangled him with his hands. "Creation? Is that what I really am, a creation?"

Shiro Ryuu tried to take advantage of the oppurtunity, but was again deflected by Rinau. "I can kill this scientist whenever I want, but Shiro Ryuu, I will kill you first."

Rinau used his weapon's abilities of lightning to shock Shiro Ryuu again, causing him to temporarily be unable to attack, Rinau began attacking, forcing Shiro Ryuu on the defense and just like in the previous fight, he tried to paralyze him again, but Shiro Ryuu used the fire powers of his swords to cut and burn Rinau's arms at the same time. It caused the pain of both a sword slash and fire at the same time. With his arms on fire, Rinau tried once again to paralyze Shiro Ryuu, who unable to find any other way to avoid the attack, tried to block it with one of his legs again, causing him to be unable to move that leg. Rinau tried to stab at Shiro Ryuu with his Partisan of Lightning but Shiro Ryuu avoided it just in time and severed both of his arms, and then one final attack to his stomach. Rinau fell to the floor, unable to survive much longer. The slash to the stomach would take time for Rinau to finally die, but Shiro Ryuu was relieved to know that he finally did die.

The scientist told Rinau "Good ridance, you were nothing but trouble. I tried to use you to kill all those people, and controlled you so that you would lose all conciousness, but then, you began to think, and have free will. You are a creation, an artificial human, you're not a real living being!"

Shiro Ryuu got gave the scientist a cold stare and pointed his sword at him, as Fuyuko also did, having her photon claw towards his neck. Rinau, in his dying moments told everyone of his past. "All I am is an experiment, people created me as a way of passing down good genetics from parents to their children, but I was also used as a way to get rid of all of those who's genes were not as good, those who weren't naturally gifted, physically, intellectually, or mentally. I finally saw how people treated eachother with love, friendship, and affection, which drove me mad. Why didn't I ever have this love?" Tears ran down from Rinau's eyes.

Fuyuko cried hearing this "I hated you, for the way you treated me, and how you slaughtered my instructor and my training partners. After those two years of hating you, I now realize that you were manipulated."

The scientist yelled at Rinau for crying "You're not a real human being! You're not supposed to cry, I didn't design you to have human emotions, only superior genetics!". Shiro Ryuu replied by slashing the scientist's torso, killing him. "Even though he was artificially created, he is still a sentient being. You are a fool of a scientist, you don't deserve to live."

As Yumi tried to cast reverser on Rinau, Rinau told her "No, it would not work on me, I'm not a real person."

He was right, try as Yumi might, Rinau could not be revived from the dead. Rinau then told Fuyuko, "Fuyu, I have always loved you since I started learning about human feelings. Here, take Partisan of Lightning, you will make better use of it than me. And Shiro Ryuu, you are a very worthy opponent, fighting you as helped me feel alive. I wish we can continue fighting."

Shiro Ryuu as always, looked to have no emotion, but then had a slight smile on his face and said "The feeling was mutual, I have always wanted to get stronger, and you were the strongest rival I have ever had. I hope you will get reincarnated into a human again, so that we can keep fighting eachother."

"Sure, in our next lifetimes, we will have plenty of great fights, you'll see Shiro Ryuu." and with that, Rinau finally died. As Shiro Ryuu's sign of respect towards his enemy, he used Asuka's flame abilites to cremate the body, and evenly distributed the ashes among Fuyuko, Yumi, and himself. "He has made many mistakes, but it was not all his fault."

With that, Shiro Ryuu left off to his dorm. Fuyuko and Yumi also left to their dorms, saddened by Rinau's tragic past and end, but relieved at the same time.

End of Chapter 12 and the first part of "The Lone Samurai"

Well, I definitely enjoyed that story. It was straight-forward and seemed to deliver what it promised, which I suppose is never too bad a thing. The scientist-creating-Rinau plot twist seemed to kind of come and go in the span of a paragraph or two, but it didn't seem too out of place. All in all, I'd say that this is fairly awesome for a first venture into story writing. I definitely look forward to the second part.

*Beginning of Part 2*
Chapter 13 - Ragol a safe place? Shiro Ryuu departs

After the old planet has been destroyed, the inhabitants have boarded several ships to escape that planet in order to find a new one. One planet they found was Ragol, however, the first ship to go there, Pioneer 1, has been destroyed. So Pioneer 2 had to delay its landing on Ragol. When Hunters have been hired to search Ragol, it has been reported that the creatures in the planet are aggressive and may have been the ones that killed the people of Pioneer 1. Eventually, these monsters have been killed, mainly by three hunters, Shiro Ryuu and Rinau. There was another problem however, as there was a hunter among the people of Pioneer 2 who has been killing other hunters, and it has been announced to be the one that killed Del Rol Le, Rinau. Shiro Ryuu and Rinau clashed for one last time in the caves, with Shiro Ryuu killing Rinau. However, after finding out the truth of his past, he has felt a wierd sense of sorrow after killing him. He has cremated him and continues to carry his remains around him. Since this incident, Ragol has finally been confirmed to be a "safe" planet and finally, Pioneer 2 along with many other ships from the previous planet have landed on Ragol. But however, there might be new battles ahead for Shiro Ryuu, the samurai whose life is cursed to alway be in battle.

Early in the morning, the news began to spread out that Vol Opt, the huge machine that controlled most of the other machines to attack any human in sight has been destroyed by an anonymous Ranger, which meant that there was apparently no more dangerous monsters in Ragol. Thus, Pioneer 2 has finally landed on Ragol.

Fuyuko heard the news from her dorm and was happy to finally start a new life now that she has tried to abondon her past. However, there was one thing she wanted before going to Ragol, she wanted to see Shiro Ryuu one more time. She went to take a visit to his dorm, she knocked the door, but no one answered. Then she tried to open the door and for some reason, it was unlocked and she got in his room. Upon entering his room, Fuyuko saw a collection of books, including "Hagakure", "The Art of War", and "The Essientials of Zen Buddhism". It appeared that the one Shiro Ryuu read the most was "The Book of Five Rings" which was written by his idol, Musashi Miyamoto. She also saw a collection of traditional Japanese katanas which may not be practical in battle in this modern age, and wooden swords. Fuyuko suddenly heard a voice from behind saying "What are you doing here?"

"Ahh! Shiro Ryuu, uh..heh, heh."

"Its alright, I'm going to leave and I can't bring all of this with me, you can have those books if you want, I read them alot and I know the principles behind them, so I don't need to read them again. As for the swords, I'm keeping them as souvenirs, they are outdated because of photon energy."

"Wait, where are you going?"

"I'm not sure, I'm going to drift around the world."

"But, Shiro..."

Fuyuko had her arms around Shiro Ryuu with her head against his head. "Shiro, I, I might not ever see you again."

"Fuyuko, don't follow me, worry only about your own happiness."

"Shiro Ryuu! You are so stupid! Don't you get it! I, I..."

Fuyuko took off her shoes, locked the door, stripped naked, and embraced Shiro Ryuu. "Shiro Ryuu, I..."

"No Fuyuko, it would only make it more painful when I leave."

Fuyuko was crying as Shiro Ryuu took all of his stuff so that she can put them in his bank. "Bye" he said as he left.

"Wait, Shiro Ryuu." Fuyuko cried, but Shiro Ryuu didn't hear, as Fuyuko continued moping while still naked. Seeking someone to help her, she sent a message to Yumi and put her clothes back on. Yumi finally came to Shiro Ryuu's former dorm where Fuyuko continued to mope and Fuyuko told her "Shiro Ryuu, I..."

"You care for him, don't you? Let me warn you, the look of his eyes, he may not look like he has the ability to love anymore, a man like him is destined to live only in battle. Being involved with him may not only put your own life at risk, but his as well. I know you've been trained as a hunter as well, but he would do things that are much more dangerous, not even the strongest of hunters would risk their lives like he would. Fuyuko, for your own safety and happiness, please, don't involve yourself with him anymore."

"You're right, but, I can't let him go through all of this pain and suffering all alone. I want to share with him his suffering as well."

"Looks like you can't be persuaded. If you love him so much, you can follow him, and I will help you too."

"No Yumi, you shouldn't get involved with this, its my problem alone."

"But, we've become very good friends, and I would love to see Ragol, I heard its such a beautiful place and I would love to see it."

"Ok, lets go follow him!" Fuyuko said, back to her usual, cheerful self. They deposited the stuff they couldn't take with them to the bank and brung what they needed, like Fuyuko's Partisan of Lightning and Yumi's Cadaceus. "Ok Yumi! Lets go see Shiro Ryuu!"

Meanwhile, Shiro Ryuu deposited all of his books and katanas in the bank, deposited most of his meseta, while bringing enough to buy food, had his Asuka swords on the left side of his waist. He had a rag that covered his entire body to protect himself from sunburn while underneath wearing a red gojigojji vest, black xatalica pants, and having his hair in a ponytail but with some hair still covering his forehead. And so began his drifting throughout Ragol. "Just like Musashi Miyamoto, I too will be a drifter, I would find strong opponents and become the strongest swordsman ever. I am a man who can live only in the heat of battle, that is my destiny, for this, I am sorry, Fuyuko for that I could not have eloped with you. What new battles await me?"

Chapter 14 - Chaos in Ragol

A year has passed already since Pioneer 2 has landed on Ragol, but now, there seems to be a new problem among the people of Ragol. Since the people are unable to form a strong enough government throughtout all of Ragol, the world is now in a state of lawless anarchy full of chaos and lacking any order among the people. Ragol, which was once considered a paradise for the people escaping from the previous planet is now a place for the strong to oppress the weak. Despite the existence of modernized areas, these areas are very few and living in those peaceful areas has become a privelage only for those able to afford living there. All others who are living in the slums are subject to either being the strong, corrupt people or the weak, oppressed ones. Perhaps, when things get difficult, human beings are all evil, corrupt, and greedy at heart. How did things turn out this way?

In a desert-like area of Ragol, a group of seven men all in their mid-thirties are driving a very old-looking G-Flyer. They appear to be driving back to their village after having picked up plenty of food to take back to their village. But suddenly, a gang of twenty men riding motorcycle-looking vehicles known as Flowders wielding guns attacked the men. "Oh crap!" Shouted one of the seven men, "its the...". He was shot before saying anything else. The gang members appeared to have been former hunters who were unable to get anymore jobs and so formed a gang. The other gang members drew machine guns and killed the rest of the men. After that, they took all of the food the men from the village took and ate all of it by theirselves. There was a sound from the G-Flyer and one of the gangsters said "I think we missed one of them, I'll go take a look. He took his machine gun and searched the G-Flyer until he finally found the last man. "Hey you! You can't escape the Desert Jackals." The gangster fired his machine gun, but when he fired, he heard the sound of photon and photon clashing against eachother while the man in the G-Flyer was still there cowering before the gang member. The gang member said "What the ..." when a red sword went right through his stomach and rose up in an upward slash that cutting his entire upper body in half while leaving a trail of fire. The man from the village looked in awe as he saw the gang member's body lay in front of him as blood spilled all over like water from a ripped bottle. He then heard a voice asking "Are there any more with you?"

"No, they were all killed by the Desert Jackal gang."

"How many are there?

"About nineteen."

"Where did they go?"

The man told him the direction and the man covered with the hood went there to take care of them.

"Wait! You aren't going to kill all of them by yourself, are you?"

The other gang members were eating all of the scavenged food and one of them asked "Hey, what happened to that guy? He's taking too long." Just as he asked that, a dead body was thrown right in front of him. The gang members were suprised as they saw it and one of them told the hooded man "You asshole! You have alot of nerve messing with us! You're gonna die!" All of the gang members drew their mechguns and fired at the hooded man, who used a red sword to deflect all of the incoming bullets. The hooded man removed the hood, and revealed himself as Shiro Ryuu who told the gang members "You're all pathetic, scum like you who pick on the weak don't deserve to live."

"Damn you! You're gonna die!" said one of the gang members before having his head chopped off. He then went on to kill ten more by cutting them in half. The other eight were afraid and tried to run away. Shiro Ryuu said "You can't escape, if you live, you'll continue killing the weak while running away from strong enemies." He chopped the legs of the remaining gang members, then finished them all of by doing a final stab on their defenseless, downed bodies. "Pitiful, these men were once good hunters, but now they have stooped to this." He sheathed his Asuka swords and left the dead bodies there, he had no respect for such men. The men he killed all happened to be Newmans, and as he returned to the man he just rescued, his dead friends were all humans. "What could have happened here?" said Shiro Ryuu to the man in the G-Flyer.

"Those goddamn Newmans, I wish someone can come and massacre them all!"

"You're no different from them, you're pitiful too." Shiro Ryuu said as he left the man on his own. He took one of the Plowders from the gang and used that as his transportation. He thought to himself 'Could it be that humans and newmans are at war with eachother in this area? An ethnic conflict, such things were always happening in the previous world, and now, just as I thought this planet would be different, another ethnic conflict. I guess this is the nature of all man, humans, newmans, androids, and beasts alike. They are all corrupt creatures.' While driving his Flowder, he passed by a blonde girl who looked to be twenty years old, the same age as Fuyuko would be right now, but her ears looked wierd, they were longer and pointier than a human's ears, but shorter and rounder than those of a newman. The girl waved at Shiro Ryuu yelling "Hey! Could you give me a ride?"

Shiro Ryuu stopped for her to let her on the Plowder. "Where do you want to go?"

"I'll show you the directions."

"You must be a NewHuman, a half-breed of a human and a newman, so you are most likely rejected by both races, am I right?"

"How did you know?"

"I can tell by the ears."

"I see, you must know what its like being rejected by others as well, your appearance doesn't look normal to the rest of society either."

The two continued to say nothing until the reached the newhuman's house. It was not much of a house to speak of, it looked more like a hut that could be easily blown away, but for this girl, it was her only refuge from all of the conflict going on between the humans and newmans. When they finally came home, they met a tall, black anroid with one eye like a cyclops. The android asked her "Where have you been? I was worried. And who is this man with you?"

The newhuman told the android "Sorry, I was only getting some items so that you can repair your arm. And don't worry about this man, he's a good person, I can sense a good aura around him. Excuse me sir, what is your name anyway?"

Shiro Ryuu replied "I don't have a real name, but if you must, refer to me as Shiro Ryuu."

"Does it mean White Dragon? Wierd name, but I guess it suits your appearance." said the newhuman girl, "By the way, my name is Estu, and this here is Mircea, he's a Hunter and my only friend."

"Looks like I must continue." said Shiro Ryuu. Though sensing the aura of a strong fighter in Mircea, he realized that the android had a bad arm and had no interest in killing the only friend of a person who is rejected by both humans and newmans. But Estu stopped him telling him "Wait! Its almost night, and if you go out, you might get into unnecessary fighting with some newmans. It might be better for you to stay here."

"...", Shiro Ryuu said nothing, but he seemed to have agreed with Estu and stayed for the night, and went straight to sleep. While he was sleeping, Mircea told Estu "Be careful of this man, he's a hunter, I saw him carrying what looked to be a pair of swords by his waist."

"Don't worry Mircea, like I told you, he's a good person."

"You're right, I know about your ability to sense a person's vibes and aura to know if they are a good person or not. But I think he should leave as soon as its morning."

"Alright." she said before going to sleep herself. She got undressed and wore only a tank top and panties and went to her room to sleep. Mircea, who as an android, didn't need to sleep, took the parts Estu picked up so that he can fix his arm. After finishing with his arm, he tried to take a look at Shiro Ryuu's swords, which were very expensive looking, but when he got too close, Shiro Ryuu grabbed the android's arm and took him to the floor, letting go when he realized it was Mircea, who was merely curious about his Asuka swords. While Mircea looked at and admired the swords, Shiro Ryuu was ready to attack if the android would try to steal the swords, but he just gave back the Asuka, and Shiro Ryuu went back to sleep.

As soon as dawn broke, Estu woke up, but when she checked to see if Shiro Ryuu was still there, it appeared that he was already gone. She was thinking about him "He doesn't seem to trust anyone, its like he has an emotional barrier around him."

Chapter 15 - The war between humans and newmans and the half-breed rejected by both races.

Fuyuko, continuing her search for Shiro Ryuu along with Yumi, had managed to find a G-Flyer, which looked to be the one attacked by the Desert Jackals Newman gang. "Oh man, I am so glad we finally found some transportation" said Fuyuko, who with Yumi were both physically drained and dehydrated from hours walking in the desert after they found out Shiro Ryuu went this way. "Shiro Ryuu, no matter what happens, I will not give up my search for you." Just as they thought they were lucky however, the G-Flyer ran out of gas, forcing the two girls to walk. Eventually, the long hours walking through the desert and lack of water took their toll and the girls fainted. It was when they fainted that they saw a blonde girl and an android helping them up and taking them to a hut where Fuyuko and Yumi would sleep for hours. During the hours they were asleep, Estu remembered her past in the previous world about the love her parents had for eachother, despite her father being a human and her mother a newman. She thought 'How can this be? A human and a newman together? They must be from a different place. I thought all humans and newmans hated eachother.' Eventually, the girls woke up to find theirselves in a hut with the blonde girl and the android.

"Where are we?" asked Yumi.

"You're at my home." Estu replied as she gave Fuyuko and Yumi some water.

"Your ears, they're unusual." Fuyuko said "What race are you exactly?"

"I'm half human and half newman, and I really hate it. I am accepted by niether race as one of their own, I'm hated by humans for having newman blood, and I'm hated by newmans for having human blood. I don't understand how you two, one a human and the other a newman manage to be good friends."

"What I don't understand is why are you rejected by both races? When we were in the modernized areas in Ragol, all the races got along just fine."

"Not all of us were able to afford to go to such nice places!" Estu yelled, angered by Fuyuko's comment.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know."

"No, its alright, I'm the one who's sorry for getting too emotional."

"Anyway" asked Yumi, "I heard that there was no more racism in our previous world before it was destroyed. Have you been rejected by both races before landing on Ragol?"

"No, at first it was ok, they didn't care about what race I was, but when we landed on Ragol, it seemed like everyone changed, like they were more aggressive than normal."

"Just like the inhabitants of Ragol." said Fuyuko "We had to kill many of them just for the people who wanted to live in Ragol to be safe."

"I know all about that, Mircea here was angered by that fact as well, I feel that its no better than an alien invasion and were just trying to conquer this planet. Since we landed here, Mircea has been my only friend. My parents died when they landed on Ragol after the people were changed, they were killed just because they loved someone of a different race."

"Estu helped me alot, before I was only a slave, something to be used and disposed of as soon as I was outdated, but she found me and even found parts to repair my arm which was damaged." said Mircea.

Yumi asked "Could it be possible, that we all landed on Ragol too early, could there be a culprit that controlled and alternated the natives and manipulated the machines?"

Fuyuko, not wanting to talk about such things, tried to ask Estu "Excuse me, but did you by any chance see an albino hunter, he had long white hair, extremely white skin, and red eyes?"

"I think so, he was very quiet and showed no emotion on his face, but he was still a nice person. He also had a pair of red swords with him."

Fuyuko thought 'So, was he here?' and asked "What was his name?"

"As I remember, I think he wanted to be called Shiro Ryuu."

Fuyuko was excited "Shiro Ryuu?! You saw him?! Which way did he go?"

"I don't know, I let him stay last night, but this morning when I woke up, he was already gone. Either way, it would be impossible to escape from this area, there's a war going on right now."

"A war?" asked both Fuyuko and Yumi.

"There's a conflict between humans and newmans, ever since landing here on Ragol, they have been more hostile to eachother to the point of racism and one race trying to rid the world of the other. Because of this, I am not too sure if Shiro Ryuu will be able to go too far."

"So ahead to where we were going is nothing but a war?" asked Yumi.

"Exactly."

"We have to go there. What if he gets killed?" said Fuyuko.

"No, it will be too dangerous for you two, and besides, I can tell that from looking at that man that he is capable of taking care of himself, if you believe in him, I'm sure you would agree that he won't get killed." Estu said.

Shiro Ryuu, riding his Flowder, was forced to stop as he saw what was in front of him, plenty of corpses of humans and newmans with guns, swords, and canes on the floor. "What useless bloodshed, I hope they all kill eachother."

"Man, what an aggressive animal, aren't they?" said a voice from above. "I see you don't like such creatures who live only to kill eachother, do you."

Shiro Ryuu looked up to see a man on a hill, apparently a Ranger wielding a pair of handguns. The ranger had brown, shoulder-length hair, a mask over his face, and a brown, old-looking cape around his body. "Humans and Newmans, such terrible creatures, aren't they?"

Shiro Ryuu looked at the Ranger but didn't say anything and turned around to find himself somewhere to stay for the rest of the night as the sun was beginning to set. But as he was leaving, he heard a gunshot and Shiro Ryuu moved his head just enough to avoid being shot, but the bullet grazed his face, leaving a cut. The Ranger shot a barrage of bullets but Shiro Ryuu blocked all of them with his swords. "Impressive" the Ranger said "I see you must be Shiro Ryuu, the one who killed the Dragon and the Hunter killer Rinau."

Shiro Ryuu went for the attack, stopping when he had his sword at the Ranger's torso. "You're not bad either." Shiro Ryuu said, noticing one of the Ranger's handguns pointed at his head. "You must be the one that killed Vol Opt, aren't you?"

"You guessed right, Shiro Ryuu. I am the one that destroyed Vol Opt, I am Ithma." Both Shiro Ryuu and Ithma sheathed their weapons and Ithma asked "How would you like to join me and we can put an end to this war?"

"I refuse, my only interest is sharpening my skill, and even if I wanted to end this, I only work alone." Shiro Ryuu replied as he went on his Flowder and drove away. Ithma grinned underneathe his mask as Shiro Ryuu drove away "Intriguing man. Too bad, he would have made for an excellent partner. Either way, this conflict between humans and newmans will be ended by my hand, and my hand alone. No one, not even Shiro Ryuu will be able to stop me."

Chapter 16 - Ithma! How do you expect to end a war singlehandedly?

Shiro Ryuu meditated in the middle of the desert after his meeting with the Ranger named Ithma. He was having a problem with which way to go, in the direction he was going, a war is beginning to break out. Shiro Ryuu was thinking about what happened the last two days. "Those racists, I don't care if they all kill eachother, but there may be innocent people who don't care about race that may get theirselves hurt. I feel especially sorry for Estu, that half-human, half-newman person, but I have a bad feeling about that Ranger I just met. How is he going to end this conflict by himself? Ending a war is useless and futile, but the way he says it..." Something that looked to be a sandstorm looked to be arriving. "Damn it!" Shiro Ryuu said as he thought the last resort was to go back to Estu's home for shelter. He drove full speed on his Flowder until he finally reached Estu's house. As he arrived, he knocked the door to see anyone, the door opened as Estu appeared and greeted him "Hey, nice to see you back Shiro Ryuu." As Fuyuko heard that, she got up immediately and came up to Shiro Ryuu, who was suprised to see her. Shiro Ryuu had a cold look on his face and asked "Why did you come?"

Fuyuko, upon seeing the look on his face and hearing his question, looked to be upset. "Shiro Ryuu, I..."

"Its dangerous, you and Yumi should leave, and you should also take Estu and Mircea with you. You four don't belong here."

"How about you?"

"Plenty of innocent people are going to die because of this war, now leave."

Meanwhile, the mysterious Ranger known as Ithma was watching upon the newman and human sides hoping for them to get close enough to eachother when they started fighting. "I alone will put an end to this conflict, nobody, not even Shiro Ryuu will stop me, especially when I have this." Ithma looked at a very particularly strange looking gun. "With this, they will be punished for their sins." He was wandering around town to see this gun, which was said to have a great, mysterious power. He was told about its power by a tekker when he found it, but he wanted to see for himself how strong it was. He saw a gang of ten humans driving Flowders around wielding handguns. 'Perfect' he thought to himself as he believed it was the perfect oppurtunity to try out his gun. The leader of the gang asked Ithma "Are you a human or a newman? If you're human, then you can join us, if not, then get ready to die!"

Ithma said nothing and pulled out his gun, leading the other gang members to attack. He shot a single bullet at the member in the middle, but as the other gang members saw a huge light come from the sky, which was the last thing they saw before they met their demise.

"Amazing." Ithma said "This weapon is truly powerful. I don't need anyone else to help me end this war, not even you, Shiro Ryuu."

Shiro Ryuu was in the boundary between the human and newman villages. He wanted to see why the people are acting this way when they have never hated eachother before landing on Ragol. "Estu, you told me that the two races were at peace with eachother before landing down here. What could be causing them to be this way? I think we landed on Ragol much too early."

Fuyuko, Yumi, Estu, and Mircea were travelling south with the G-Flyer which Mircea helped to repair. Fuyuko looked to be depressed after the way Shiro Ryuu reacted to seeing them. She remembered Shiro Ryuu's cold stare and the tone in which he asked them why they were there. "Shiro, all I wanted, was to see you again."

Estu asked "Then why not fight alongside of him?"

"No, I know him good enough, he wouldn't want anyone fighting with him, he prefers to fight all of his battles alone. But, I know he'll survive, because, I believe in him. Guys, lets go."

"Where are we going?" Estu asked.

"Don't worry, you'll like it there. Humans, newmans, androids, and beasts all get along pretty good, so they'll accept you as one of their own." Fuyuko said with a wink.

"Thats a relief."

Out of nowhere, a gang appeared in front of the G-Flyer. "That thing looks like crap!" said one of the gangsters. "Lets just rob it anyway, they might have some food or women in there." said another one of them.

One of the gang members came and broke throught the window using a huge sword. Fuyuko grabbed her Partisan of Lightning and electrified the gang member. She came out to see seven other gang members with either huge swords or rifles. "Ohh, this one's hot, and she can fight. Normally, we would kill a newman, but I think we'll have some 'fun' with you first."

Fuyuko smirked and told them "Thats if you can make it without getting beat up first."

"Ok, lets have some fun, cutey."

Fuyuko got her weapon ready to attack, and like lightning, went through all of the gang members, leaving them physically shocked and unable to move. Estu saw her and thought she's much different from Shiro Ryuu, he would have killed these men without a second thought, but this girl spared their lives, she looks to be much more merciful."

Feeling that someone bad was coming, Yumi tried to warn Fuyuko "Fuyuko, I feel a bad energy around here, I think we should leave."

Estu warned "Fuyuko! Behind you!" Fuyuko felt a gun pointed to the back of her neck. "You should not get yourself involved in this racial conflict, otherwise, I will be forced to kill you."

Fuyuko turned around while pointing the gun out away from her, while slashing at the man behind her in a horizontal position. The man who was behind her was now standing on her weapon. "I suggest that you not have anything to do with the war thats going on now, I myself will be the one who will stop it, so there's nothing for you to worry about, just get out of here."

Yumi said "This man, there's something I don't like about him." She then looked up to see the Ranger standing on Fuyuko's Partisan of Lightning, got up to the top of the G-Flyer and told Fuyuko "Close your eyes!", which Fuyuko did as Yumi casted Rafoie right at Ithma's eyes, temporarily blinding him and allowing Fuyuko to get back inside. After Ithma was thrown off-guard, the four left to go to the city. Ithma looked down to see the electrified men recover from their shock and said "This girl, she didn't even finsih the job.", and fired a bullet from his gun, causing huge lights to come from the sky and rain down on each of the men.

Fuyuko asked "What did that man mean by 'I'm going to end this war all by myself'?"

"I don't know" said Yumi "but whatever it is, I know its bad, I can tell that he has bad intentions."

Chapter 17 - The war breaks out! Divine Punishment rains down!

"Sister, I will kill all of these ignorant people, all for you. Humans and Newmans, they have rejected us both, I promised that I would become a hunter so that we can be rich and live in the racially diverse areas." said to himself Ithma, who after fixing his hair showed ears that were between those of a human and newman, similar to those of Estu. "With this, not even that albino samurai will be able to stop me." he said as he looked at his gun.

Meanwhile, Yumi was feeling concern about Ithma, the ranger she and the others encountered in the G-Flyer after Fuyuko beat up the human supremacist gang members. "That man, the gun he was wielding, it looked familiar, I know I've heard of such a weapon, but I didn't know if it existed." she said.

"What are you talking about, it looked a little wierd, but other than that, what are the chances of it being anything special?" Fuyuko asked.

"I was told that there was a gun that had unparalleled power, anything that gets hit by one of its bullets will be targeted by huge lights coming down from the sky along with any other adjacent targets."

"Thats ridiculous! There's no way such a gun can exist!" Fuyuko said laughing.

"But, that man, just being around him, he gave off very bad vibes."

"His eyes.." Estu said "They looked very familiar, and so did his voice." Estu, saying this began to think 'Big Brother.' and had flashbacks from before the old planet's destruction of herself when she was younger and her older brother, another half-human half-newman telling her "Sister, I promise, I'll become a Hunter and one day, you and me will be out of the slums! I know I'll become good enough and make it big.", after the flashback, she thought to herself 'Big brother, where are you?'

"So many people are going to die. I wish that I can help them." Yumi said.

"Why don't we turn back? If thats ok with you, Estu. I'm cool with it, I still want to see Shiro Ryuu." Fuyuko said.

"Ok, I also want to go back to know about that man, I know I've seen him before and I want to make sure if its him." Estu said. With that, Mircea, who was driving the G-Flyer turned around and went to where the war was going to take place.

In the human village, a man who looked to be the leader of the village was making a speech about bringing a newman genocide, "Those damn newmans, they think they're better than us! We'll show those newmans that we are the greatest race!" Shiro Ryuu heard from the leader. However, he had no interest in this war, he was only thinking of one thing. 'Ithma, all I want is to fight against you.' He remembered the conversation he had with him recently:

"So Shiro Ryuu, have you decided to help me out?"

"Yes, but its not because I want to end this war, these fools can kill eachother for all I care, as long as innocent people are spared. The only thing I want is for you to finish your job so that we can fight."

"I see, very well, I guess we have a deal. Just don't die, I will be dissappointed if you do."

Shiro Ryuu, being human, decided that he would pretend to be fighting for the human side since he can blend in much easilier. He was standing with the other human soldiers getting ready for battle with the newmans. There were people wielding all sorts of weapons, guns and swords alike. Both sides, ready for battle, finally attacked eachother. Ithma, watching from a hill, saw the two opposing militaries as they fought, waiting for them to get close enough together so that he can use his gun's power. "Shiro Ryuu, sorry if I kill you, but this must be done."

Shiro Ryuu, now close enough to the HUnewms began cutting them down, but waited for the battle to get wild enough for the HUmars and HUnewms to lose their control from their adrenaline. Shiro Ryuu, experienced in plenty of deathmatches, did not feel any fear or nervousness coming into the war. However, many of the other soldiers were less experienced. He drew a big sword and began killing everyone, including his own "allies", which he killed "accidentially". After fifteen minutes of battle, he heard a gunshot. Someone was shot and Shiro Ryuu saw huge lights coming from the sky coming down on the soldier who was shot along with other nearby people. The lights from the sky left bodies that were disfigured to the point of being beyond recognition. Another gunshot, and more lights from the sky appeared. "That is no technique from a Force, that was a gun. Only Ithma could wield such a gun." No longer worried about killing the other soldiers, Shiro Ryuu focused on avoiding the bullets so that he would not to be a target for the huge lights, he didn't even try being near anyone who was shot. He was jumping away from other soldiers who were shot, passing by the brutally disfigured bodies. He just kept dodging until, eventually, all of the soldiers on both sides were dead except Shiro Ryuu who was able to dodge every single bullet. He heard someone clapping. "Incredible. Although I didn't really need your help, you showed me how great of a Hunter you are, you didn't take a single blast from Heaven's Punisher."

"So, thats what it was, the legendary gun that brings 'Divine Punishment' down on those who are shot by one of its bullets along with those near the target that got shot. Now I want to fight you even more."

"Not yet, there are still more people to kill." Ithma said as he jumped off the hill and ran to the villages.

"Not finished yet, but all of the militant members of both groups have been killed. NO! The civilians! I have to stop him." Just as he was about to run after him, he saw an old G-Flyer stop in front of him. He jumped over and ran as fast as he can, but the G-Flyer caught up and a female voice said "You won't make it on foot, come on in." Shiro Ryuu boarded the G-Flyer. As he came in, he saw Fuyuko, Yumi, Estu, and Mircea. "Why did you come here?" he asked.

"Because I wanted to help." Yumi replied.

"Fine, in that case, we have to keep going that way. A Ranger is going to kill all of the civilians of both the newman and human villages. If we don't make it in time, he'll kill all of them. Yumi, if he already killed anyone, I want you to cast Reverser, you got that?"

"Ok" said Yumi.

The G-Flyer caught up to Ithma in the human village, who had his Heaven's Punisher ready to kill the civilians. "Time for all of you to die!" he yelled. He used the Divine Punishment on the civilians, killing indiscriminately, women, men, children, adults, none were exempt from the Heaven Punisher's powers. Shiro Ryuu got out of the G-Flyer and stopped in front of Ithma. "Ithma. This is not what we agreed to, I only wanted to help you end the war, not to kill innocent people." Shiro Ryuu said with a cold, serious look on his face, even Estu was afraid as she looked into his red eyes. Shiro Ryuu drew his Asuka swords and got ready to fight Ithma. "For doing such a heartless thing, you will die right here and now."

I really like this story. I worry a little, though, that this new part is a little to similar to the first one. Ithma seems like a thinly disguised Ranger version of Rinau, and the plot seems to reflect it. Shiro Ryuu feels antisocial, runs off. He meets a mysterious strong person who he wants to fight with. Mysterious person is revealed to be sadistic and slightly evil, Shiro Ryuu vows to kill them. Evil person seems to have history with one of the girls. See how it's kind of shaping up the same? Different names and places, but it's kinda still the same old stuff.

Try changing up the mechanics a little. Maybe Shiro Ryuu finds a new reason to fight other than to defeat someone strong. Maybe one of the girls takes on a more leading role this time around. Maybe Ithma quickly turns sides and becomes a good guy and they battle together against something entirely different, like the war itself. I dunno--there are lots of things you could alter just a bit to give Part 2 a newer face.

Not bad. It took me awhile to read through it all, and I agree with CupOfCoffee that part 2 resembles the first one. However, I have to say part 2 is much more well written than the first part, especially where the dialogue structure is concerned. Your writing skills are improving Shiroryuu and I look forward to reading more...

Chapter 18 - Ithma's final draw

Shiro Ryuu, giving a cold stare to Ithma told him "You are not going to kill anymore innocent people. If you fire another bullet at the villagers, you will die a more painful death."

"Shut up! All of them have to die! There are no such things as innocent people! They all have to suffer divine punishment!" Ithma said. "If you're going to stand in my way, then you will have to be punished as well!"

Fuyuko and Yumi were getting ready to attack, but Shiro Ryuu told them "No! I will fight this man alone. Yumi, go help the other villagers who were killed and Fuyuko, you, Estu, and Mircea will make sure everybody is out of here, I don't want innocent people to get involved."

"But, Shiro" Fuyuko said.

"Don't worry, I will not get killed so easily."

The others did as they were told as Shiro Ryuu and Ithma stood where they were in a stalemate. Yumi was casting Reverser on the people who were killed by Ithma's Heaven's Punisher, while people were packed into the G-Flyer in large groups in order to evacuate them. The stalemate between Shior Ryuu and Ithma lasted for half an hour, it appeared that Shiro Ryuu was only stalling Ithma while the others made sure that the villagers were out of the area. Finally, as there were eventually no more people in the vicinity, Ithma said "Enough of this, you have ruined my plans, but killing you will be worth much more than those pitiful villagers."

"For trying to kill those innocent people, I swear, you will die."

Ithma fired a bullet from his Heaven's Punisher, which Shiro Ryuu dodged. Ithma kept firing away, but all of the other bullets were either dodged or deflected. One of the bullets narrowly missed Shiro Ryuu, leaving a cut on his cheek. Although Ithma was unable to hit, Shiro Ryuu has been having trouble closing in on his opponent, so he decided to finally try going forward. He ran like a cheetah towards its prey, moving side to side in order to avoid the bullets, and finally, did a rising, spinning slash with both of his swords, leaving a trail of fire, but the attack was dodged. As Shiro Ryuu was coming down from the air, Ithma saw an oppurtunity, and fired his Heaven's Punisher.

Fuyuko and Yumi, after finishing evacuating the civilians, saw a huge light from the sky. "Holy crap! What the hell was that?" said Fuyuko.

"Its true, then it must be the Heaven's Punisher.", said Yumi

"The Heaven's Punisher? So, you were right this whole time? Shiro Ryuu is fighting against someone wielding a Heaven's Punisher? We have to go help him!" Fuyuko said. The three girls along with Mircea went on the G-Flyer to go to where the fight was. Estu said to herself "I can remember his eyes, and his voice, but there's no way my brother can ever do such a thing as kill innocent people, I hope Shiro Ryuu kills that man."

"Sorry that it couldn't be your brother, but after this, why don't we go together to find him?" said Fuyuko.

"Ok." Estu said.

Ithma stood alone in the ruined village. "Hmph, I killed the great Shiro Ryuu. Mr Samurai, you're such an idiot, fighting the most powerful gun there is with mere swords. hahahaha..."

"You're celebrating your victory too early, Ithma." said a voice behind him. Ithma turned around to see Shiro Ryuu right behind him with his Asuka swords pointed at his back, ready to finish him off. Ithma pointed his gun at Shiro Ryuu, but Shiro Ryuu told him "Use Divine Punishment, and we will both die."

"How the hell did you escape?"

"You thought you had me, but the only thing you punished was that." Shiro Ryuu said as he was pointing to the floor, which showed what was once a shield completely destroyed. "And now, I hope you're ready to die." he said as he finally thrust his swords right through Ithma's lungs, causing his mask to fall off. Just as this happened, Fuyuko, Yumi, Estu, and Mircea arrived at the scene.

"Shiro Ryuu! You did it!" said Fuyuko. Yumi was also happy, but Estu looked in horror at the face she saw.

"Ithma!" Estu cried out. "NO!! BIG BROTHER!!"

Shiro Ryuu, hearing that, has began feeling guilty, but said nothing.

"Ithma! Shiro Ryuu, you jerk, how can you do something so evil?" Estu said as she approached him and slapped him on the face. "How can you do such an evil thing?"

"Before you start talking about me being evil, ask that to your brother, he was willing to kill innocent people with that gun of his." he said.

"Brother, why?"

Ithma, having been stabbed by Shiro Ryuu's swords, but still having enough life left in him told her "Estu..I did it....for.. you. You and I..... were always...rejected by both races....accepted,...by...niether one...and I wanted....revenge. I...am...sorry, I am ashamed....to....be...your....brother." Underneathe his hair revealed ears that were similar to those of Estu.

"So, he's also a half-breed between a newman and a human." said Yumi. "Don't worry Estu, I'll revive him back to life."

"No!" Ithma said "I don't deserve to live, I have done horrible things. I wanted Estu to be happy, but, it was all in vain." He pointed his gun at himself and shot himself three times, causing a series of lights to come down on him, but since he shot himself three times, the lights would come three times, leaving behind nothing for Yumi to be able to ressuruct.

"ITHMA!! NO!!!" Estu cried out. "Why. *sniff* Why did you have to do that to yourself, why did you kill yourself?"

"Estu" said Shiro Ryuu, "I don't know how to apologize for killing your brother, except for this." He pulled out a dagger and removed his shirt. He had the dagger ready to stab his own stomach. "As an apology, I will commit harakiri."

"No, Shiro Ryuu, it wasn't all your fault. Ithma was always a kind person, he wanted me to get out of the slums where we were discriminated against because we had blood of another race. But since landing down here, it seems like he changed to a different person, he would never kill innocent people."

Mircea looked to be sending a message to someone, not saying a word throughout the conversation, but then told the others "I have to go, my old master is calling for me." Shiro Ryuu looked at him with suspicion and thought to himself 'There's no way he can be just a servant android, I smell blood on him. I don't trust him.'

Estu finally got a hold of herself and asked "Where do I go now?"

Fuyuko told her "You can come with us, me and Yumi have a house in one of the modernized areas, you can live there with us. And Shiro Ryuu, you can come too."

Shiro Ryuu said "No, there are people suffering throughout this world, there are more people like Ithma who are going to pick on the weak, I have always wanted to become strong, and now, I have to use this strength for good. I have to make sure those who are also strong don't take advantage of it by using it against the weak."

"What happened to Mircea? How did he contact his old master all of a sudden?" said Estu.

"That android? I don't trust him, he looks suspicious to me."

Meanwhile, Mircea said to himself "Shiro Ryuu, you have impressed me, to have defeated a skilled ranger as Ithma, and you did it while he was wielding Heaven's Punisher, the most powerful gun known to man, and you killed Rinau. Both of them failed master's wish, but I will not, there is no way you can defeat me. Hahahaha."

Chapter 19 - The priest who saw a powerful diety! What is your plan?

Mircea sent a message to an unknown man telling him "A HUmar has defeated both Rinau and Ithma, he's stronger than I anticipated."

"You have to kill him, no matter what, that HUmar is too strong, as long as he's alive, he's going to become an obstacle for us and our plan." said the android's master.

"Understood. Rinau and Ithma may have both failed, but I guarantee you that I won't fail."

"Have the HUmar's friends found out your identity yet?"

"No, but the HUmar doesn't seem to trust me at all, but its nothing important. I will kill him anyway."

"Very well, I trust you, you are much more skilled than Rinau or Ithma". After that, the conversation ended. The android's "master" looked to be man of about 27 years old wearing a long purple robe with a wand in his hand, with spiky black hair. The wand had a trident with spikes that looked to be able to open and close. "I must make a perfect race, the only way I can do that is by eliminating all people who have bad genetics, only those with perfect genes will be allowed to survive. Newmans, beasts, people with disabilities, they have no place in this world. Newmans may be superior, but they lack the physical strength while beasts lack the mental capacity of humans. Mircea, you better not fail me, you must kill the albino HUmar. Albinos, cripples, autistic people, these have no place in my new world either. Perfect humans ruling this world, this is the will of this world's new God! But first, this albino Hunter must die, he's getting in our way of cleansing this world of filth."

"Sir" said a man in his late fifties, "The people are waiting to see you. They want to see the man who has spoken to God."

"Very well, Heikichi Tachibana." the FOmar said to the man. He went outside to see people cheering "Nergal! Nergal! Nergal!". It appeared that this man was named Nergal, the man who has claimed to have seen God. The people cheering for Nergal all looked to have been human. "The human race is the chosen race!" Nergal said to the people from the top of a hill with the masses on the ground beneath him. "Newmans, beasts, and the disabled should all be killed for us to become a perfect race! That is what God has requested of me!"

Heikichi smirked at the people who were all worshipping Nergal as though he was some kind of prophet. "Religion, thats the only true way to get these people to settle down. Nergal is doing a great job helping me control these people. That albino however, there's no way it could be him." Heikichi started remembering his past of him killing his wife and being an abusive father to an albino son. He was telling his wife "How can you give birth to an albino? You stupid bitch! I've had enough of you and this freak albino!", which were the last words he said to his wife before killing her. Heikichi got angry thinking about the albino HUmar known as Shiro Ryuu. "That freak accident of a son, don't tell me he's the one doing all this." Then he looked to a HUcaseal and a RAmarl. "You! Celia and Iris" he said to the HUcaseal and the RAmarl, respectively. "Mircea may need help, the albino hunter has three other friends with him, two of which were also hunters, a HUnewearl and a FOmarl. I want you two to go kill them."

"Yes, Lord Tachibana." said the HUcaseal and the RAmarl. The HUcaseal, Celia was mostly navy blue in color, with a humanoid face that was pale and purely white eyes, with hair tied up in a ponytail. The RAmarl known as Iris had red camaflouge pants, short blonde hair, and a black t-shirt.

Meanwhile, Fuyuko asked Shiro Ryuu "What don't you trust about that android?"

"I have a bad feeling about him, like he's been spying on us this whole time. He smells like blood, so there's no way he could have been a servant android, he must have killed alot of people."

"I just found him on the floor, and when I met him, he was really nice to me, so I let him stay at my house." Estu said. "He was nice to me, unlike the humans or the newmans who both rejected me. He said he was a servant android, but I didn't treat him that way."

"He didn't look like it to me, his design looked like he was much more suited for combat. After I killed Ithma, he was sending messages to his old "master". Who is this old "master" of his anyway? Why would he just neglect an android like that?"

"Shiro Ryuu, I can understand what you're saying." Yumi said.

"Smells like blood, huh? No one here smells more like blood than you." Fuyuko jokingly said to Shiro Ryuu.

"Thats true." Estu said with her and the other girls laughing, and Shiro Ryuu having a slight smile on his face.

"Anyway, I must go." said Shiro Ryuu, putting on an old, rotten cape and getting on his Plowder.

"Wait, Shiro!" Fuyuko yelled out, but it was too late, he already left. "Shiro Ryuu..."

Shiro Ryuu, driving his plowder thought to himself "Mircea, I don't trust you at all. If you or your master plan on anything evil, then you will have to be the next one to die by the blade of my sword."

Nergal, the FOmar went to a place underground, which looked to be a very old, wrecked spaceship. As he continued walking through, he was inside what looked to be a giant living creature, with plenty of organs and veins pumping. As he finally stopped, he was standing on a floor full of human faces, which were probably souls of those taken by a creature. He looked up and said "You are the solution for the perfect human race! Dark Falz!"

Chapter 20 - Battle to the death against Mircea! Shiro Ryuu, Don't get hit by the Soul Banish!

A mother and her young son were getting outside of their village in order to get some food and water for theirselves. After miles of walking, they finally found a pond of water, from which they planned to take water from with some buckets they brung along. But while the mother and child were doing this, a gang wearing all black and driving plowders circled around them wielding sabers, with the leader saying to them "You can't steal water from there! That water belongs to God! If you want it, you better pray to God or die."

"But" said the mother "we don't have any water, and the rest of my family are getting dehydrated. "

"Then God doesn't like you! Get out, or else you'll die!" said another gang member as he got his saber ready to slash at the mother, with her and her son cowering in fear. Just as he slashed, there was a sound of photon energy cutting through and severing part of a person's body. The mother heard the sound but she saw that she and her son were alright, but the gang member looked to have lost an arm and screamed out"Ah Shit! AAHHH!!!". Blood came pouring out of his arm. He looked ahead to see the man who severed his arm, but this time, his head went flying off, and blood came out of his head like a geiser as his body walked around until it finally dropped dead. Shiro Ryuu stood there in front of the mother and child with his Asuka ready to kill the gang members. The other gang members looked in fear at the man who did this, but the leader had a grin on his face and said "Oh yeah, its him, the albino who's been kicking everyone's asses! Guys! If he kill this guy, we'll gain the highest spot in Tachibana's military."

Upon hearing Tachibana, Shiro Ryuu has gotten angry. "You have threatened to kill innocent people, I will not forgive you, all of you will go to hell." he said. He ran through and slashed all of the other gang members, after which he left behind nothing but corpses and dead bodies. Then he helped the family with the water. The mother told Shiro Ryuu "Thank you very much, young man."

"Its no problem." he said.

"Living here on Ragol has been hell very recently. There are some paradise areas, but those who weren't able to afford living there were all kicked out because of greedy landlords who tried what they can to have all the land for theirselves and make alot of money. The landlords got too greedy and made us pay ridiculous prices, so now many of us were forced to live in these desert areas. And here, there are plenty of conflicts, the weak are oppressed by the strong and people kill eachother simply because of their race." the mother said.

"Just like in our previous planet." Shiro Ryuu replied.

"A man named Nergal has been acting as a priest who claims to have seen God. I won't believe any other God than the one I learned about in our old planet, so I can't believe him. He has one of his men taking over the particular village I live in, he's an android, his name is Mircea."

"Yeah" said the son, "He was black, tall, and very scary."

Shiro Ryuu thought to himself "That must be the android who lived with Estu. I knew he was bad."

The three finally arrived at the village and came into the woman's house. "Sir, you may stay for the night if you wish.", which Shiro Ryuu accepted. As he was in the house, he was spacing out thinking about what the gangsters said. "If will kill him, we'll be in the highest rank in Tachibana's military." He thought "Tachibana, could that be..? If thats him, then he will die a slow and painful death."

Just as he was thinking, he heard a noise from the outside and a man saying "You have broken God's law, no one should leave this village or take his water!" Shiro Ryuu got up and took his Asuka. He went outside to see Mircea dragging the mother and child in one hand while wielding a scythe with another. "People! I will make an example of those who break God's law!" He brandished his scythe and struck at the two, killing them. Shiro Ryuu saw this and got angry. He walked right in front of Mircea.

"Shiro Ryuu." said Mircea "So you've figured it out, have you? You realized my identity."

"Enough of this, Mircea." Shiro Ryuu said, pointing one of his swords at Mircea. "You will die for what you just did to this family."

"Very well, lets see what you can do against my Soul Banish." he said as he did a horizontal slash at Shiro Ryuu, which Shiro Ryuu dodged. Mircea then opted for a downward slash, which was deflected. The android hit Shiro Ryuu with the butt of the weapon directly to the solar plexus, leaving Shiro Ryuu in the ground with the wind knocked out of him. Mircea felt that he was vulnerable and tried to do a downward strike, but Shiro Ryuu rolled away, trying what he can not to even get touched by that blade, knowing that anyone who touches it will get killed instantly. Mircea stomped Shiro Ryuu while he was still grounded, and kicked him to get him on his back so that he can step on his throat and finish him off. With Mircea's foot on Shiro Ryuu's throat, Shiro Ryuu, still with his swords on each hand, severed Mircea's leg, causing him to lose balance and allowing himself to get back on his feet. Mircea did a jumping slash at Shiro Ryuu, but he used his Asuka to cut the Soul Banish in half. Mircea grabbed the half that had the blade on it, which was short enough to wield with one hand, and struck at Shiro Ryuu, but not before Shiro Ryuu can sever Mircea's arms, making him unable to wield anything now.

Shiro Ryuu told him "You only have one leg and both of your arms are cut off. You have no chance of winning. Time for you to meet your demise.", he used his left-hand sword to stab the android and the other one to do a downward slash down at his head, cutting him in half vertically. The people of the village crowded around him, cheering for him like he was their hero, but he used a telepipe to get out of there.

Back at Nergal's temple, he recieved news of Mircea's death. "So, Mircea couldn't stop that Shiro Ryuu person either. Very well, Tachibana sent Iris and Cecil to kill his two friends, and I have a slave who might stop him." He looked to a cage which contained a person who looked to be a beast. "When he gets angry, he loses total control of himself and would destroy everything thats in his path, there's no way Shiro Ryuu can compete with him."

Meanwhile, Just as Fuyuko, Yumi, and Estu were on their way to follow Shiro Ryuu, they were stopped by the RAmarl known as Iris. "Sorry to have to stop you, but I'm gonna have to kill you." she said with her Twin Psychoguns pointed at the three of them.

"Yumi, Estu, stand back. I've got this one."

Chapter 21 - Heikichi Tachibana, what is your relation with Shiro Ryuu?

Fuyuko, Yumi, and Estu were all stopped by a RAmarl sent by Heikichi Tachibana, the man who controlls one of Nergal's villages. The RAmarl with short blond hair, red camaflouge pants, and a black t-shirt wielded her Twin Psychoguns. She wore red lipstick, and looked older and more mature than the three other girls, around her late twenties. She told them "You young girls are not allowed to get any further, or else I'll have to kill you."

"What the hell is your problem anyway? Whats your grudge against us?" Fuyuko said.

"Nothing personal, but I was ordered to kill anyone who was friends of that albino Hunter who's been killing all of Nergal's men." Iris replied.

"Albino Hunter? You mean Shiro Ryuu? And who the heck is Nergal?" Fuyuko asked.

"You're gonna die anyone, there's no need for you to know who Nergal is."

"You're gonna try to kill us? Lets see you get through me first." Fuyuko said with a grin, getting her Partisan of Lightning ready in a fighting stance. "Yumi, Estu, let me take this one."

Iris started off the fight, firing away at Fuyuko with her Psychoguns, but Fuyuko was fast enough to escape from the line of fire by jumping to the sides. Iris kept firing, but Fuyuko just continued to either dodge or block the bullets with her shield. One of the bullets caught Fuyuko's leg, making her lose her mobility, leaving her no other choice but to use her shield to block the bullets, so she left her limbs vulnerable while protecting her vital organs. As Fuyuko was in the defense, Iris kept walking forward while still shooting to get a better shot at Fuyuko.

Fuyuko told Iris as she walked forward "You made a huge mistake, you should know better than to get close to a Hunter". She used her Partisan of Lightning to cut the Psychoguns in half, rendering them useless, and then did a downward slash at her opponnet's clavicle, electrifying her at the same time and leaving her paralyzed from the shock. "Why continue fighting, if I wanted to, I would have already killed you." Fuyuko said to Iris. "You're lucky I'm not Shiro Ryuu, otherwise, you'd be dead already. Be appreciative that I tried to spare you life, now go back to Nergal." Fuyuko sheathed her weapon and walked off.

"I can't go back to Nergal, if he found out that I fought you and lost, he'll kill me. Looks like I'm dead anyway." Iris said as she tried to bite her toungue.

"Stop!" Fuyuko said to her, but it was too late, blood came from Iris's mouth profusely, she was going to bleed to death.

"I'll try to cast Reverse on her." Yumi said.

"No, even if I am alive, Nergal will try to find and kill me, just let me die." Iris replied back. "If I'm going to die, I would rather have it be by my own will rather than by him." Though without her tongue, Iris's speech was still intelligible.

"Nergal? So, was he the one who manipulated my brother, Ithma into doing those horrible things to all those people?" Estu asked.

"Yeah, Ithma was a half-breed, but Nergal lied to him to make him do all of that stuff. The same with an artificially created clone Hunter." Iris told her.

"Too bad I don't know how to fight, otherwise, I would do what I can to get my revenge. I hope Shiro Ryuu defeats that man." said Estu.

"Don't worry Estu." Fuyuko told her. "We're not about to let this Nergal guy have his own way. We'll try to help out as well, whether Shiro Ryuu wants our help or not."

Back in Nergal's temple, he sensed Iris's death. "That useless Ranger, she told those girls about me. I hope Cecil doesn't fail."

Shiro Ryuu found his way into Nergal's village, where he asked of a man named Tachibana. One particular man, and older, black man who was in his sixties told him in secret "Tachibana's first name is Heikichi, he's the leader of this village and many others along with Nergal. He's trying to spread his influence across villages like these and progress until he takes over all of Ragol. The governments are too weak to deal with him. He also wants to get rid of newmans, beasts, and androids that can think. He only wants humans to live in Ragol as he feels that they are the only perfect race."

"Thank you, sir." Shiro Ryuu said. He left, thinking to himself "Heikichi, that is the name of my father. If this really is the same Heikichi Tachibana, then there is no way he will live for much longer." He found the place where Heikichi is said to reside, and snuck inside. It was here that he saw a man in his fifties, with short, black hair, wearing an expensive looking suit, drinking very fine wine, and living in a luxurious place while the other villagers were living like dirt. He recognized his face from his past.

"Who the hell are you? Who do you think you are sneaking into my place like this." Heikichi asked.

Shiro Ryuu stared at him coldly with his red eyes. "Do you recognize me? Look at my eyes, my skin color, my hair color. This is something you didn't like, you killed your wife for giving birth to this."

"...Are...you...Kenji?"

"Kenji? Don't you dare call me Kenji. I have abondoned that name a long time ago. My name is now Shiro Ryuu." he said as he pointed his Asuka swords at Heikichi. "I am, no, I was your son. But I no longer see you as my father. You have destroyed my life." Shiro Ryuu sheathed his swords and beat up Heikichi with his bare hands, pummeling on his face with his fists and elbows. Then he grabbed the back of his father's neck and did repeated knees to the face, breaking his nose and orbital bones.

"How does it feel? This is what you have done to me physically during those years, remember?" Shiro Ryuu said, as he picked up a very sharp knife he saw in the house and dug deep inside each of Heikichi's finger nails. Heikichi screamed in pain of what Shiro Ryuu was doing to him.

"I'll make it easier if you tell me one thing, did you in any way manipulate Rinau or Ithma into doing what they did?" Shiro Ryuu asked.

"Yes, I did it, please, just don't kill me."

"Hmm. Rinau and Ithma, two worthy opponents who were killed for such stupid things in order to fulfill your stupid ambitions of a perfect race. As I promised, I will make it easier on you." he said as he grabbed the top of his head and and used his sword to cut through Heikichi's neck. Shiro Ryuu left his father's dead body lying there, bloodied and beaten. "A man such as he does not deserve to be cremated. He should die a dog's death."

"Heikichi, you're dead too?" Nergal said to himself. He got very angry and said "You were my right hand man. He also killed Rinau, Ithma, and Mircea, those were three of my strongest men. That Shiro Ryuu, he's going to pay. He will not get in my way any longer."

Chapter 22 - The Berzerker

"Kenji Tachibana" Shiro Ryuu thought to himself. "I was once born of that name, but I have abondoned it along with my previous life thirteen years ago. That man, Heikichi Tachibana, my father. How dare he make so many people suffer in this planet like this. I don't know what he did to make it like this when he was dirt poor before going to Pioneer 2. You also manipulated Rinau and Ithma to do your dirty work." He walked out of Heikichi's residence, but not before being attacked by plenty of guards. They all charged at Shiro Ryuu with their swords and guns, but to no avail as Shiro Ryuu cut them all down effortlessly while walking off. When he was killing the guards, he heard some of them say "How dare you oppose Nergal!". Which made him think "Nergal? Who is this Nergal?". He finally got out of the mansion, but was thinking about who Nergal is.

Fuyuko, Yumi, and Estu arrived at Nergal's village and met up with Shiro Ryuu. Shiro Ryuu asked "You girls should leave."

"Shiro Ryuu" Fuyuko said "There's something I have to warn you about, there's a man named Nergal who's controlling this village and many others. We came in order to help you."

"Its dangerous, you shouldn't try to risk your lives this way. Besides, one of his minions has just found you."

"What?" the three girls said.

"Come on out, whoever's hiding." Shiro Ryuu said. A female android, the one called Cecil came out.

"Lord Nergal has ordered me to kill you." the android said.

"I'll take her, Fuyuko is too worn out from the previous fight, and Shiro Ryuu, you have to fight against Nergal." said Yumi.

"Ok." Shiro Ryuu said as he went off to find Nergal.

"I will not let you get away!" Cecil said, but Yumi got in her way.

"Before you fight him, you're going to have to get through me."

Cecil approached Yumi and gave her a knee strike to the solar plexus, leaving her in the floor gasping for air. Fuyuko said to Yumi "Yumi, if you can't handle her, I'll step in to fight her."

"No Fuyu, I can take her." Yumi said, struggling to breathe. She casted Deband on herself but was stopped again by Cecil's punches. Cecil continued the beating until Yumi casted Zonde on the android, which looked to have hurt her alot, so Yumi kept on casting it. Cecil grabbed Yumi's arm to make her stop casting the spell.

"You cast Zonde again, and we'll both die." she said to Yumi before delivering an uppercut to the solar plexus, which was painful, but not as painful as the knee strike. Yumi got out of range so that she can cast deband on herself while casting jellen on Cecil, this time successfully. Due to Yumi's strong magic power, Cecil's once powerful bare-handed strikes were nothing more than taps to Yumi. She also casted shifta on herself while casting zalure on Cecil, making Yumi physically stronger for the time being. Yumi epuipped an Elysion and began slashing away at Cecil until the android was no longer able to fight anymore. Yumi sheathed her sword and said "You will recover, just stay here and leave us alone."

"No, Nergal will find me and kill me. I'm dead anyway." Cecil got up, set up a freeze trap, and jumped into it, getting frozen in midair and shattering to pieces as soon as she landed.

"I feel sorry for her and Iris, they had to keep on fighting like this or else they would get theirselves killed by Nergal." Fuyuko said. "What kind of a man is he? Shiro Ryuu, please, just come back alive."

"Cecil, even she failed? Shiro Ryuu's friends, looks like I underestimated them. Heikichi sent them without any plans, that fool, good thing he died, I can take over these people all alone, but first, Shiro Ryuu has to die. Time for me to release my last weapon, you, time to get out, slaughter the albino." He pressed a switch to open up a cage, and a beast-like man came out walking like a zombie, carrying a Zamba. The beast was of a very tall and muscular build.

"Satas, my last resort on that albino HUmar. Rinau, Ithma, Mircea, Iris, and Cecil have all failed. Satas will definately get the job done, he'll kill Shiro Ryuu and then his female friends."

Shiro Ryuu went to the underground where he was in a place that looked somewhat like an old spaceship. He saw plenty of what looked to be living creatures, but they were all dead. What was wierd however, was that all of these creatures looked to have been killed recently. Dimenians, Delsabers, Claws, and Chaos Sorcerers were all on the floor with a purple, blood-like fluid substance coming out of them, perhaps, it actually was their blood. Either way, they were no threat to him, so he continued going, as this is what was rumored to be Nergal's hide out. Further in, he saw veins pumping, as though he was inside a very large creature. Despite the grotesque appearance, Shiro Ryuu didn't seem to mind. Finally, he came to a room that looked to be outdoors, the plenty of green grass, it looked to be a beautiful place, like many of the other regions of Ragol, the places where the poor have all been driven out from.

"So, you're the one who killed Rinau, Ithma, and Mircea." said a voice from above.

"..." Shiro Ryuu said nothing, but stared at the black-robed, spiky, purple haired man with his swords pulled out.

"You want to kill me I see. First, you will have to get through Satas." Nergal said, as Satas, the best came walking like a zombie with his Zamba.

"Nothing personal against you, but, you will have to die." Shiro Ryuu said to Satas. Satas made a sudden change from zombie-like to a frenzy as he attacked Shiro Ryuu. Shiro Ryuu was forced in the defensive as Satas kept attacking wildly, most of his sword swings pushing Shiro Ryuu back from the impact. Shiro Ryuu took one hit by one of the flat sides of the swords to his ribs, bringing him to one knee. As Satas was about to finish off the fight, Shiro Ryuu stabbed the beast's leg, and then did a rising, spinning slash with both of his swords, leaving a trail of fire behind. The beast was burning and in pain, so Shiro Ryuu thought it was the perfect time to finish it off. However, Satas looked to have changed again, his speed and power looked to have increased, but at the cost of losing even more of what little sanity he already had. Now, he was just a wild animal swinging around a sword. Shiro Ryuu thought "This man, he has such great potential, but he fights without any spirit. What a worthless opponent."

Shiro Ryuu sheathed his swords in pity and said "I have no interest in fighting a man who doesn't even know who he is." and turned his back to Satas, facing Nergal. "Nergal, the one I want to fight, is you."

"Hahahaha, you're such a fool. I told you, I'm not going to fight you unless you can kill him."

"I won't waste my time with a worthless opponnet."

The beast started to look like he was getting calm, and getting some sanity. He then began to talk "Hunter, please, kill me. I can't control myself, I have no reason to live other than to kill people, I'm just an assasin. Please, kill me, I don't deserve to live."

"So, you want to die? Very well, if you want death, then I shall give it to you." Shiro Ryuu said. "However, I want to kill you when you are fighting."

Satas charged at Shiro Ryuu trying to kill him with his Zamba, but Shiro Ryuu stabbed him with his right sword through the stomach, and then did an uppercut with that same sword. After that, he did an "X" shaped slash with both swords, causing Satas to fall dead to the floor with blood gushing out of his wounds. He looked up at Nergal with anger "Nergal! You have done such a horrible thing to this person, though he is a beast, I still see him as a man. I swear, I will kill you."

"Hahahaha" Nergal laughed maniacally. "You won't kill me as long as I have the power of Dark Falz and the Psycho Wand!"

Chapter 23 - Final Battle Against Nergal, Shiro Ryuu's Awakening of the Legendary Swords!
*End of Part II, the Nergal Saga.

Fuyuko, Yumi, and Estu were in the desert village, trying to follow Shiro Ryuu, despite the fact that they were tired and wounded from fighting Iris and Cecil. "Shiro, I must see him one last time." Fuyuko said.

Meanwhile, Shiro Ryuu was pointing his swords at Nergal. "Nergal, you have taken advantage of the innocent people who have been driven out from Pioneer 2 to live in the deserts of Ragol with Dark Falz. You used them to make sure that Ragol is populated solely by humans, despite the fact that you used androids, a half-newman, and a beast to fight you battles. Such hypocrisy. Today will be the day that you go to hell."

"You fool, you are no match for the Psycho Wand!" Nergal said. Shiro Ryuu started off by jumping at Nergal and trying to slash at him, but was struck by Nergal's Zonde. Shiro Ryuu tried again, this time running towards him but only to get caught by a Barta. Shiro Ryuu tried attacking him from different angles, but to no avail as he was frozen when Nergal casted Rabarta. With Shiro Ryuu unable to move, Nergal casted repeated Zondes on him until Shiro Ryuu's Asuka melted the ice. Shiro Ryuu tried to use the high-temperature swords to his advantage by melting any Barta techniques casted by Nergal, rendering them all useless. Nergal was forced to resort to Zonde technques. Repeatedly, Nergal was casting Zonde until Shiro Ryuu was in a state of shock. Shiro Ryuu thought "How is it possible for him to cast magic like that repeatedly? Anyone else would get tired from doing it so much?"

"The power of the Psycho Wand! I can cast as much magic as I want, and I will not be physically drained." Nergal said. "Now die!" he said as he casted Grants on Shiro Ryuu. During this time, Shiro Ryuu did an X-slash with both swords at Nergal, causing two deep wounds on him, making him bleed profusely, while also cancelling out Nergal's Grants technique.

"Damn you, you albino! You have not been chosen by God, you're an albino, you are not perfect. However, I'll make an exception for you if you agree to stand by me. Only perfect humans should live in this world, there is no place for newmans or beasts, the world should be cleansed of all of those. You have the physical abilities that are the model of our perfect human race. You are strong, you can get anything you want in this choatic world. Why don't you join me, you can live in luxury, you can have food, women, anything you want." Nergal said.

"Women, food, power, authority? Those are not the reasons why I become strong, those are not the reasons why I fight."

"Then why? Why do you fight? What is the purpose of being strong if you won't take advantage of the weak? What is the point of having strength and power if you don't even use it?"

"I fight because that is the only way I know how to live. I have no place anywhere else, fighting is all I know how to do."

"And what if the world becomes peaceful? Then what?"

"Impossible, the nature of man is so that they will always fight eachother, there will always be disagreements, war, and corruption."

"Damn you Shiro Ryuu! I'll show you what true power is! Dark Falz, give me your strength, let us become one!" Nergal said, as he fused with Dark Falz. Nergal, once looking like a regular human, has not become a humanoid creature that looked to be transforming into the creatures from the spaceship that Shiro Ryuu passed by. It looke like Nergal was physically changing into something that looks like Dark Falz himself.

"Nergal, you are mad. You have given up your human form for power."

"I don't care, all that matters is that I am now more powerful than you, and I will show you that when you have power, you have to make the best use of it, and that is by taking advantage of those weaker than you!" Nergal said, with his voice no longer sounding like that of one person, but as though 2 people were speaking in sync with eachother, a human voice and a very deep, demonic voice. One of his hands looked like a very long blade and his head was between that of a human and a Dimenian. His right hand still had fingers so that it could handle the Psycho Wand.

Nergal started shooting beams at Shiro Ryuu, all of which were dodged, but it was followed by Grants, which this time was successful in hitting Shiro Ryuu, hurting him alot. Nergal kept casting Grants on Shiro Ryuu. "Die, Shiro Ryuu, Die! Die! DIE!!" Nergal kept smacking Shiro Ryuu around with his hands, and then continued with casting Grants. "Red Ring Rico, she has failed at being Dark Falz's host, however, I have enough madness to control even Dark Falz, I AM Dark Falz. You can not even hope to defeat me in your dreams Shiro Ryuu! Today, you will die."

Shiro Ryuu did a suicidal charge at Nergal with his swords, but Nergal shot beams at him again, this time, breaking his Asuka swords. Despite this, Shiro Ryuu kept going, doing a flying knee to Nergal's chin, but was grabbed by his leg and slammed to the floor repeatedly. Finally, Nergal casted a really powerful Grants as a finishing move to Shiro Ryuu."

"Foolish man, serves him right for getting in my way." Nergal said, but just as he thought he was finished, Fuyuko and Yumi arrived at the scene of battle.

"Hold on, your fight isn't over yet, you're going to have to get through us first." Fuyuko said.

"Hahaahaha, foolish girls. You two will also die if you want to get in my way." Nergal said to them as he was going to cast Megid on the two of them.

"Fuyu! Watch out! Thats Megid, if you touch that purple smoke, then you will die, and I won't be able to bring you back." Yumi said.

Nergal kept casting Megid while Fuyuko and Yumi kept dodging, one of them was about to hit Fuyuko, when, just before it was going to happen, someone picked her up and took her out of the way. Fuyuko looked up and saw who it was.

"Shiro Ryuu! You're still alive!" Fuyuko said in joy, with Shiro Ryuu showing a slight smile.

"I'm just glad that you didn't get hit by that technique, but now, let me handle this alone, you and Yumi can watch." Shiro Ryuu said as he pulled out a metal katana and a wakizashi. "Nergal, you will not kill a samurai so easily. I am a master of Niten Ichi Ryu, the style created by the legendary samurai Musahsi Miyamoto. He has never lost a duel, and niether will I."

Nergal shot the beams at Shiro Ryuu, but they were all blocked by the swords. "What is this? How can it be possible?"

"Two of the four legendary swords. Sange and Yasha." Yumi said, "Those swords are very powerful, but are very difficult to use, only very skilled swordsmen can use them."

"And Shiro Ryuu is one of those extremely skilled swordsmen." Fuyuko said with a smile on her face. "Shiro Ryuu, go kick his butt!"

"Legendary swords? No matter, you three will die anyway!" Nergal said as he tried to cast Megid again, but this time, his Psycho Wand was cut in half, making it useless. "My Psycho Wand! Shiro Ryuu, you will pay!" he said as he was going to attack Shiro Ryuu with his bladed hand, but was stabbed by Shiro Ryuu's Sange. Shiro Ryuu then finished him off by using Yasha to decapitate him. For extra measure, he did an X-slash that left the Force's body in pieces. Finally, Shiro Ryuu had killed Nergal.

"Shiro Ryuu! You did it! You defeated Nergal!" Fuyuko said.

"That man was very evil, you have helped so many people by doing this." Yumi said. The two girls came to Shiro Ryuu to help him as he was very worn out from the fight.

As they were helping him out from the Ruins, a shadowy figure stood there watching. "Shiro Ryuu, you are now a threat to me. I will make Ragol my empire. There is only one thing I want." the man said as he pointed a finger to the sky. "The Heavens, I will rule over the heavens above the Gods." Who is this figure and why does he want to take over Ragol?
