luck is the chance of you getting critical hits. luck number divided by 5 is your critical hit percentage.

Like everyone is saying, luck increases the chance of a critical hit. Personally I only give Luck Materials to Ranger characters or characters im trying to max out stats on, otherwise it isnt worth it.
