BB wont work for me

I downloaded BB and got my HL but whenever i start the game up the screen will go black for a few seconds then it'll go away and a box will come up and say that BB has encountered a problem and that it needs to close. any fixes for this?

Try updating your:

Network drivers
Graphic Drivers

Try deactivating your:

Firewall
Anti-Virus

No harm should come.

Try updating the game first (second option on the title screen) if you can make it that far.

Try going in options in the selection screen to see if there is a problem.

Also, tell me what graphics card you are using, and what driver you use with it...

well the firewall and anti-virus didnt work, how do I update my drivers?

What are you using for a display adapter?
If you aren't sure, go to START, RUN and type in DXDIAG

When it finishes loading go to the DISPLAY tab and post what it says for NAME, MANUFACTURER, CHIP TYPE and APPROX. TOTAL MEMORY.
