Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wishlist

Alot of people have been talking about this. Is there anything you hope to see in Brawl?

For me, along side Ridly, I hope they put some of other hunters from Metroid Hunters, like Noxus and Spire.

I'd like to see (hear) multiple songs per stage. A really extensive Nintendo soundtrack would truly rule, and it wouldn't be all that farfetched because there's already plenty of oldschool music in the two existing Smash Bros. games.

I know that Solid Snake (from Metal Gear Solid), Wario, MetaKnight (the Kirby games), and a few others will be in the game. Nintendo apparently has pulled more characters from the old NES and SNES games released only in Japan and stuck them in the game. And they are adding new features, but I can't remember what they said they were adding... Oh well, It's sure to be fun anyway.

Joshua from Fire Emblem would be an awesome addition, since he's one of my favorite characters since Legault from the first game.

I would also love a HUGE range of levels. Like, enough to where you have to pull the screen down with the cursor.

The soundtrack idea doesn't sound so bad either, since the same BGM on a stage tends to get a little bland.

New characters though... I've always had a hard time picking them out. Hopefully they'll take out pichu, and toss a different pokemon in. My ideas would be:

True, I agree Smash Bros doesn't need/want a WHOLE ton of third party fighters, but think about it.

Unless you want CARBON COPIES of characters with LITTLE TWEEKS (think Pichu to Pikachu, Dr.Mario to Mario, Fox to Falco), you're going to have to look outside the little Nintendo Sphere.

But I also agree that some more obscure fighters would work.

Hector is my favorite Lord next to Lady Lyndis and them behind Ike. King DeeDeeDee would be cool also. They should put in Karaboms from Bomberman, like KameKing (from Bomberman Tournament GBA). I like Bomberman a lot.

I wouldn't be surprised if they included Sonic though, now that they've breached that third party wall. He's been the most popular "rumor" character for Smash Brothers. And not necessarily for the Wii version. He'd seem like the kind to fit in fairly well with the scheme of things, and could even borrow a move or two from current Smash Brothers moves... Jigglypuff Spin -> Spin Attack.

And as for Shadow, I'd much rather have classic Sonic characters then these "darker and more extreem" characters. And since Sonic is still up in the air, I think we should be lucky if Sonic is even in. I don't mind Shadow too much in the Sonic games, but he should never be in Smash Brothers.

As much as I would love to see Banjo & Kazooie in the game, They are owned by M$ now... So I don't even want to get the faintest hopes up...

As far as I'm concerned, If they made melee attacks for Peach, Zelda, Captain Falcon, Samus, hell even Mario, they can make something plenty neat and original for Snake... Samus is particularly good for this example... When does Samus ever attack with her hands and feet in Metroid games???

This was not Snake's first fighting game, he was also in Dream Mix TV World Fighters, although a Japanese only game he was actually a decent character.

More event matches would be nice along with a maybe a mission mode for each corresponding character e.g. Snake infiltrates a base and has a time limit as to how long he has to finish or Link having to demoralize the enemies before unleashing an attack or something and a really good edition would be... I can't say it I'll show you instead:

I -really- don't want Lloyd here. @ whoever said it first, the best example of them making up a movelist for a character, that would go to Roy&Marth, atm, as they literally have a total of eight possible animations together, total. Nyah.

Anywho, let's look at some primitive logic now. The officially released trailer had the stages set in the Daein castle. This would imply Ike (axe) has a decent chance of being in. This would be a nice change from the two swordfighter Fire Emblem characters.

From what I've also seen, the trailer also has Samus shedding her armor, performing some crazy beam move that annhiliates the screen. Personal opinion, and assumption, They can have Geno do the same thing. I personally reeeeeeely want to see Geno in there, and he's got a chance, mainly due to him being on the top of official Japanese recommendation page, as well as being a overall fucking uber puppet who shoots lasers and pebbles.

Regarding replacements - Celshaded Link is supposed to replace Young Link, as the other midget link, I assume. Removing Ice Climbers kills all possibilities of more 'team' characters. This would probably mean no Plusle&Minun, or BabyMario&BabyLuigi. I've nothing to say about Bowser Jr. or Ridely. Well, Ridley's going to be shrunk down, like, a lot. >_>;

Honestly, I have no clue why, but I would love to see Phoenix Wright make an appearance in Brawl. Imagine the possibilities...

Or, how about some characters from Advance Wars? Watching Grit as a long range specialist in the game, firing snipers and artillery missles, HAVOC WOULD BREAK LOOSE!

Lastly, I'd love to see Crono from Chrono Trigger make a debut in Brawl. It's a neat idea, due to the fact that they wouldn't need to turn him into a cloned character (like Falco is to Fox); he has PLENTY of attacks they could recreate, like Luminaire, or Cyclone. Hell, why not toss Frog in there? Not only would he have moves like Slurp-Cut or Leap Slash, f they enabled team attacks in Brawl, Crono and Frog'd be able to use their patented move, the X-Strike!

I have not heard any confirmation about characters in the last two games being removed but are adding new characters or newer design and looks into the mix rather than removing a character permanently from the Smash Bros. game. This could look like there would be a huge selection of characters possibly from all nintendo games or third party charcters in the next 5 or so years.

I think Mewtwo was really well made for the game, he actually can be an extremely tough opponent. On my wish list? A mage... no, not Zelda type, I mean a Real mage like Soren. Something that'll brinf FOrce lovers satisfaction, lol. But yeah, no chance... I think that Pikmin character will be cool though, or is it just a costume? >_>

Nintendo's characters duke it out. Not Squares or whatever shit people can think of. One third party character is enough, we don't need more.

I'm hoping for a few more Fire Emblem characters. I suspect Roy will be removed too. Personally, I'm hoping for Lyn of FE: Blazing Sword to be added.

My god YES Mario RPG characters (some of them) would be pretty good, Geno would be a pretty cool character, most of the others you play as in that game are already in the SSB series, and some of the Mario RPG characters probably wouldn't fit in too well

Put in the masks for Link, and have your Zora/deku links...

and different foods would be neat!

Kirby eats a jalapeno, and he can spit fire; wario eats a chilidog, and he can fart! the fart would have the same effect on the enemy as when a shield breaks..

Me and my friends talked about unlockable weapons and equipment for the characters, some could also change the characters performance like link's mirror shield to reflect energy beams. What do you think of this?

Thats a pretty gewd idea. Maybe some sorta adventure mode where you character can grow and you can customize 'em and whatnot, and then take your home-made character online for battle, and there could be some sorta ladder and ranking system.

Square was originally owned by nintendo. Geno is rightfully part of nintendo, so is mallow. Geno made a cameo in Mario&Luigi superstar saga. So bam. He can rightfully be in the game

Personally, I would love to see Geno in the game. An instant replay function would be nice, and levels that could be destroyed would be awesome. It would be nice if they didn't remove wavedashing too, that is always fun. Also, for shits and giggles Shaq from Shaq Fu would be awesome... and John Madden would make a great announcer.

It'd be nice if they made it a little more balanced. It's fun playing with a bunch of noobs in SSBM but eventually they'll all end up playing Fox or Marth.
