what is evasion?

What exactly does evasion do and why is it supposed to help you?

uh its supposed to help the enemies to miss their attacks, but it doesnt seem to happen very often with me...

When you Block, Does it mean that he's to weak or not Accurate?

I think blocking a shot has to do with Defense, and avoiding a shot is evasion.
I have thought that evasion helps you with the drag you get around monsters (when you slow down when you are close to them) and helps you move quicker around them.

I'm not sure tho, It would be nice to know for sure.

Just to clear everything up, blocking a attack has to do with envasion.
Defense just lowers the damage a enemy does to you.
It is possible to get your def high enough so that most enemies will do no damage to you.
The slow down is a feature made by Sonic Team called ATUO AIM. You evp does nothing to slow down. (Unless you mod that stat by ways we are not allowed to talk about...)

Just to sum it up
--EVP-- Allows you to Avoid attacks. (Some you can't avoid)
--DEF-- Allows you to be resistent to some damage (But some attacks are set).

I was wondering because an atribute wall is 10 less evp than a secret gear and the same defense but the atb wall has so much more resistince againnt spells. So which should I use.
