Item(s) with hit % questions.

Why exactly are hit % weapons exalted so highly here? Yeah they give you more ATA, but are they just so you can go to the hardest places at the lowest levels? If so I really see no point... finding a good red item with no hit is fine with me. I'd rather enjoy my time in PSO looking for an item that I'd want and use, not hunt for another one of an item I have with hit %. So, what's up with hit %?

Hit % on weapons improve the chance to land a hit. Each % adds 1 to ATA. That's 2x more than a lev of Dex on mag. It's a pain to raise a lev of dex on on a high level mag.

If you are a Ra, there are plenty of ATA for you. Weapons with % or not aren't very important. But for Hu & Fo, ATA isn't their forte, so any boost from elsewhere is a plus.

Weapons with hit % are rarer. They have higher value for buying & selling. Check the stores & see. ;]

especially since hunters max ata is what 200 or around there. so you pretty much need a weapon with a good hit if you want to do good in the harder areas in ult

i think a guy found a 90% hit untekked lavis once. my highest was 85% hit tekked nei's claw

I got a 45% flowens sword...

I had a 50% Double cannon, and a 35% yas7k

40% on a Hell Laser (it's amazing to use in Ult Seabed) and 50% on Final Impact. Both were tekked to get the extra 10% so it's 50 and 60 respectively.

i can never find a weapon with a higher hit % then like 30... and most of those weapons are staffs and canes. Whats the secret? I know about the shop when the teckie checks it out and if the % stay the same do it again. but i cant find much with a nice hit % even on ult.
