Yeah, and oddly enough, my local Babbages has them in today. Maybe some people will get lucky and be able to pick up PSO next tuesday, instead of Wednesday! Oh, that would be rather lovely.

Remember that I live in the heavy Amish area of Pennsylvania, so I have no idea how my local EB got it.

Something funny.. I called Babbages also, just to check, and they told me that Customs was being quarantined and Nintendo couldn't bring in any hardware until they're done or something. o__O;

Good that's a relief.I pre-ordred from my local EB and the date was yesterday(21st) so i called today and they said it's not in yet but now i know it will be here this week...did you guys try it? how's the set-up like?..i know there's no games for it yet but can you configure your ISP with it for now at least?

Im going to be on my way to go pick mine up in about 20 minutes. I cant use it for anythng yet...but ill still have a bradband adapter for Gamecube. Now I just need a router for my cable, and quick.

I was hoping that my modem was going to get here today, but it didn't, oh well, hopefully tomorrow. Better not be that much of a delay on PSO, or I'll go elsewhere and buy it. Like I did with v2 :P.

Heh, nope it is really rather a killjoy to get, as you open the package, plug it in, and wait for PSO to ship. No setting up ISP or anything yet. Directions tell you to "Follow the instructions for the game you are playing for information on online game play." Bleh. That was a letdown. Oh well, at least we will be ready for PSO when it gets here...

I picked mine up today too... the bba i havent even opened it do i mean whats the point right? or should i? im not planning on gettin a hub or a router since i wont be using my pc at the same time as my cube so i guess i just have to unplug it from the back of my pc and plug it on my cube right?

OK, I just got mine, and I have some questions.
I have Cable. I have the cable line running into my room and into a cable modem. I have a 10base-T(or whatever)running from that into my computer. I just bought a 25 foot Ethernet Cable. Now this goes into the 10base-T thing as well right? I would like to be able to use my cable on both my computer and GC at the same time. Sooo, is there such a thing as an ethernet cable splitter? Any tips? Thanx.

Depending on your service, you might have to power off your cable/DSL/ect modem to make the switch, due to MAC address authentication.

There isn't a simple little dinky adapter, but you can get a router. You could get this cheap piece of crap from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000069K98//qid=1035229043/br=2-22/ref=br_ts_full_e//104-1926012-3802334?v=glance&n=172282), or get a different one if you plan on expanding your network in the future. If you're not sure if that router is right for you, you can PM me with your current ISP name and type of broadband (cable, dsl...)

So do I. I have about 6 computers hooked up to it. I have wireless internet that hookes up to it. I'll use that to get online in my room.

Hey everyone.

I am back from a really long vacation. I can't wait till PSO comes out next week.
My org username was "Alan". I only played v1 from the DC and gave up waiting for v2.

I just feel really lucky on how i got my modem.

I preordered the modem like a week b4 the release. My receipt said modem adapter so i told the guy i wanted the BB. He said is ok you will get the BB. When i called the morning of 22st the sales person told me I preordered the modem and not the BB. There was only 2 in the store. I finally got him to change it and my friend's too. We got it the same day. So i felt really lucky that everything went well. I later learned that only 2 BB came in. So if i didn't called a day early i would of missed it. I was planning to go today.

Now my only concern is getting PSO on time.

my EB didn't call or anything. i went in to check and asked for it. thankfully they had it, then pulled it off an accesory hanger on the wall. last one. so i asked how many they got... 3? and mine(reserved) was sitting on the wall?!? grrr. close call. for them....
