DC-Quest: soul of a blacksmith question

there are 3 minerals, found one in caves 3 called blue mineral, but i gave the stuff at the cientist and he made a freeze berdys, i have reseted my dreamcast because i don't know if i am doing something wrong.
how do you get the god hand, i found the stuff but i god a completly diferent thing.
i am on ver.2 DC

Erm, I didn't know this quest was for DC too but anyway
God Hand is the sword item you get once (and only once) from him with the Blue Mineral in Ultimate. Freeze Berdys sound like Normal or Hard mode...

i did it on ultimate and it was the firsttime i was doing that mission, saw the material and got to pionner 2 to receive a berdys.....i reseted the dreamcats so i could still gain the god hand.
on dc it is a download quest
