I'm not sure if the link will work, but at all cost, hear this song! Listen to the song and read the lyrics page. Post what you think.

WILL THIS SONG NEVER LEAVE ME????????????????????????

Dumb question, right? Yeah, the video is a lot funnier.

Final Fantasy, It consumes my life
And that is probably why, I'll never have a wife!

Yeah, it's hilarious. They also have a funny pre-loader.

I guess if I had that much sugar, I would like trains too...

As a devoted newground member (Kairaega on the newgrounds board) I saw that when it came out, however, I liked the song for the opposite reason.

Because I hated Final Fantasy. (Devilish grin)

I mean, I liked the old ones, but lets face it folks...the series has, to quote a wise luddicious robot, "Gone to h*ll"

I loved how the song was sung from the point of view of a Final Fantasy Fanboy, and how he remarked, that if the magazines tell him a game is good, he has to buy it.

Me...well...my favorite RPGs right now on the consoles are Grandia Extreme, Wild Arms 3, and Shadow Hearts. Most of them barely getting decent grades on the major sites and e-zines.

I played the song for a friend of mine who absolutely hates the new FF games, and he cried he was laughing so hard. Truly amazing.

I can't view it at my work comp, keeps crashing, I'll check it when I get home. I've been to newgrounds before so I know it'll be good. One of my favs there was The Pygmy Shrew. I don't know if I spelt it right.

As for the new Final Fantasy. It should be called Final Fantasy DOA. I think a few Tecmo/Team Ninja creators got into Square. It's amazing how Yuna turned into a gun slinging slut after Tidus disappeared. It appears that scantily clad women are on the order for this new FF incarnation.

Yes, Yuna has guns.

And this is an official poster by Squaresoft for the first ever direct sequel to a Final Fantasy game.

And here (http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2002/news/10/22/ffx2_screen010.jpg) is the official logo for it, for those who haven't seen it.

And for all the idiots, it's pronounced "ten-two," not X2 like the Megaman games.

Well, that's a first.

Well, it's a first for a few things in Final Fantasy games.

First direct sequel, first female main character, and first firearm-wielding main character (gunblade is used as a sword, not a firarm).

It might just be the first for a lot of things in a Final Fantasy game...
