Item: Whats the best offline weapon (hunter)?

I was wondering what the strongest weapon (in your opinion) was avalible in offline mode.

Please tell me why as well so i know why you find that weapon so good.

Red Sword, Demolition Comet/Meteor Cudgel, Mechguns with high hit
Any of those are not too hard to hunt, and high hit mechs can be bot in the shop. Red Sword is the strongest sword in the game other than J-Sword, and Red Sword is a MUCH easier hunt offline. Demolition Comet or Meteor Cudgel are both strong for offline, and hit 6 times per combo. Mechs of course are great on any class, but offline with hit on a hunter is awesome.
