Well I know that I've disappeared for a few weeks. Well I went to the Anime Expo in Anaheim. I participated in the AX AMV competition (http://www.amv-contest-lists.org/data/axca2006.htm). However I did not make the finalists and was not on the big screen. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif Meria suggested that I should post a link here to my entry in the competition. I am currently busy working on an entry for next year, while I am still inspired by this years con.

Warring the vid is on www.animemusicvideos.org and you will need a user name and password to download. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

You got ripped at the AX, when this thing didn't make the finals, Jared. Don't know what they were thinking.

Ah, I see it's been bumped! A deserving bump, that is. I registered and downloaded the vid, and all I can say is wow. This is a whole new medium to what the FanWorks is used to, but change is definitely not always a bad thing. I found the music a bit strange, but it was coordinated very well with the scenes....particularly in that one slower, more dramatic sequence about 3/4 through.

The lenth of the video was impressive because of the amount of content that had to be thrown in to complete it. But maybe shorter for next year http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif I'll have to get downstairs on my PC to see those parts you mentioned that were Photoshopped....I don't really know how difficult that could've been.

I know you've already heard this before, but a competition without victory is still a good experience;-). Keep up the good work, and good luck on next year's entry!

Hay Joe. Might I tempt you to check out the other videos on my AMV profile. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif They were finalist for AX 2003 and 2005.
And yeah the music I have for next year is a mere 4min. song to Scrapped Princess (http://scrappedprincess.bandai-ent.com/)... hopefully...

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I'm having a hard time downloading your other vids. I managed to get through all those AMV pledge windows and comment-requirements, but the 2003 vid keeps stopping halfway when it downloads http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I'll edit this post once I get on the PC and can actually DL faster than 30 minutes; I've using wireless internet w/crappy laptop right now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Thanks Joe. I hate to say this but the comments are not required most people just leave it blank. I hope that doesn't discourage you from leaving comments http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif. Stars however are required. And yes beware the tricky pledge windows!

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif Those other videos are amzing. Well deserved finalists! The music from the Full Metal Panic vid was excellent...and you had a really good theme going there. I've never seen the show, but it looked like the music really suited it's mood. *drools*...

I must admit that I laughed several times at the "Mind of a Hina Inn Manager" one...very clever scheme there http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. The title, music, and scenes you used to create that looked like they already existed for each other! Very skilled....I hope your next creation can be as good as those http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

-EDIT-
Haha I put Stupid Girl on my mp3 player http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. Look what you've done Jared...
