I'm making a HUcast and I want ppl's opinion About the Sword, so which one should I use?

Chain Sawd will be your bestest friend unless you're playing in party with a FO or two. Chain Sawd special is unreduced Gush (120 HP from each enemy in Ult).

i think Red Sword, cause it's stronger and it's easier to get, u have to be a skyly to get the chain sawd

I doubt that this person would be making a thread on what weapon to use if he/she didn't have methods of obtaining either one. My vote is for Chain Sawd....easy to find since Vulmers run amok everywhere in Caves, and as everyone else has said the special is amazing.

You will notice they all end up pretty similar; they are both good swords, and neither has a big advantage over the other.

Unreduced Gush is quite the advantage but if you got FOs you can play with regularly, Red Sword might be better. Still, there's something to be said about not having to babysit a Hucast with Resta.

The Chain Swrd is definitely a better choice. the stats are really better, since the red swrd never mentions it out loud.

Sawd's stats are not better, it is slightly worse than Red Sword's.

Sawd has 1 less ata, 30 less atp average when both are fully ground, 15 less evp, and needs 70 more atp to equip. Yeah, I know, those numbers are too low to even matter. But that's how they look compared.
And unreduced gush is clearly not an advantage when you have no use for it. And no, that does not only compose of the time being 'babysat' by a fo.

Honestly...if you find either with %s, use that one.

Alright, for the sake of 83Nini I think I'm going to reconsider my vote. Aftering using both swords considerably, I've come to the conclusion that Red Sword is, in my opinion, the more desireable of the two. The Unreduced Sieze is an excellent special...the "Spread Needle" of swords, so to speak. From there you can Chain Sawd their asses to steal needed HP http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif But I'd rather have a Red Sword as my staple arsenal over CS anyday. CS only really works when the enemy is frozen/paralyzed....otherwise you'll just end up taking more damage from missing. Overall the Red Sword takes my vote, not only because it has a much higher potential damage (and better max grind), but also because the special becomes more handy when taking the offensive.

But if you could get both, that would be even better. Paralyze using the Red Sword and saw away...great way to regain HP.

The hell you say? Chain Sawd is the same across the board whereas 'droids get a 30% boost to Paralyzing specials which the Red Sword has. There is no damage boost.
