Using Firefox, select text either in a full on reply (quote or otherwise) OR quick reply, hold shift and doubleclick.

I'm using Firefox 1.0.7 with Hotmail Tabs 0.9, Disable Targets For Downloads 1.0.1, Gmail Manager 0.4.3.6, and Adblock v.5 d3 * nightly 43 (I dunno; just typing what version they say they are).

You don't lose what you type but the only way I can get the box back is by pressing the back button then the forward button. Reloading the page works, too.

If I hold shift and double-click in FF 1.5.04, I get the same results with textboxes. I'm wondering if this maybe a bug or "feature" in the browser.

Hmm. Try it on any table cells. It removes anything as fas as I can tell.

[edit]Well, almost.

After doing some research, this just seems to be a "feature" of Ad-Block. Holding Shift and Left-Double-clicking will hide the content of a cell or text area. So, it isn't a forum problem. You are able to do this on almost any site with your current browser configuration.
