I can play PSO perfectly fine, but if i try to minimize my game or if someone IM's me from AOL or something like that, the game will totally disappear and all my gameplay doesn't get saved...what should i dO?

Play in windowed mode.

it doesn't have a windowed mode..

Both PSOBB and PSOv2 can be played in windowed mode. I know for a fact that PSOBB has the option readily available. If it's PSOv2 then someone else may have to help you with that.
