Does S-Rank Scythe drain health?

As the question says above, does the S-Rank scythe drain health like the Soul Eater/Banish?

Also, is the Episode 2 offline challenge mode the same as it's online counterpart? There is no guide on it. (I have Plus for all those saying there's no such thing.)

The online and offline stages share the same maps. The only key difference is the prizes.

yeah...u dont get S-ranks offline...just some cool/awesome rares like Crazy Hammer and that Electric Guitar thing
