right i orderd the wrong adaptor, i have the modem adaptor, so i tyred plugging my gamecube into the internet connection, i did everthing as it said, and suddenly the phone rang as it said dialing my number, it was 2am in the morning so i clicked to decline the phonecall, if i had picked up, what would have happend? would it have charged the time onto my phonebill?

im using a broadband connection, and i orderd a modem, should i have not orderd the highspeed adaptor?

If you have broadband, you should use a broadband adaptor (BBA).
Since your internet connection is going through BB, dailing your phone company won't get you online, unless you also have dail-up connection, which is quite unreasonable if you already have BB. ;]
