As my skyly, i can find a demolition comet. my force is better at slimes than my skyly, if i could deal with the slimes as my force, that'd be great, but ill need to play on multiplayer. Can I do that? Does the telepipe trick work on offline multiplayer?

I think so. I was playing offline multiplayer with my friend and we saw a Hildetorr for the first time and we didn't know what it was and we went up to restock and stuff. When we came back it was replaced by a Hildelt, so I guess telepiping works also on offline multiplayer.

yes telepiping works on 2 player, what the rare monster drops is down to who ever is player one and his section ID

Funny, that is not how I remember it. Wasn't it more a case of us both getting clobbered to death, while we still were wondering what a Hildetorr was? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
Oh what fun that was..

Now that you mention it, you are right. But he DID disappear, so I think the pipe trick should work.

I'm sure all ID drops are mixed in multiplayer. I get stuff I shouldn't get when on with my brother.

then maybe your brother was in first player

No I always play player 1. Seems a bit of a waste if all IDs aren't active in multiplayer.

Nope, in offline multiplayer, Player 1 is considered the leader. So all drops will revolve around the first player's Section ID (hence the tekker is the one for 1st player and is the same for the others).

On-topic: Yeah, it's possible for offline multiplayer. But it would damage the GC a whole lot because there are extra people piping through rather than 1. It really isn't worth it actually.

Yes, it'd load a little longer since it needs the data for the other players' characters but it's a moot point since piping in multiplayer would be even more boring than piping solo. I doubt everyone playing would be willing to sit through it.

but its really hard for a cast alone.. no rabarta to do it quickly. in my opinion, casts dont have enough of an advantage for not being able to cast spells.. any tips anyone?

yup, just like online mode. online multiplayer is identical to offline. except for the fact that the telepipe trick doesnt work online
