I finished transcribing the piano version of the ending music to PSO, so I tried to record myself playing it.

*major applause*

I think that was just about the best thing I've seen on YouTube. Man, how I wish I could play like that. Nine thumbs up! Maybe even ten for the little FOmar guy. XD

You can't give 10 thumbs up silly, you only have two.

Good stuff though. I envy you, I wish I knew how to play piano. ):

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif Mirinee! I didn't know you came to PSOW XD

That was amazing; your musical talent is very envious; I can't play piano that well http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Is there any sheet music of it available?

And of course, we all love the little Relmitos doll XD

Good job. I used to be able to transcribe music, but I got lazy, and I want a synthesizer.

That's amazing! I can only read and play music on the piano and at that, only sort of by listening to the piece several times to get a feeling of the timing. (I can't really hold timing down very well, that's why I can't play in a band.)

How long did this take you to transcribe? I noticed that your fingering technique is pretty good too, you don't cross your fingers even though it looks like there are several opportunities where it seems easier to do so.

Do you plan on transcribing any other songs from PSO or any other games?

Oh, that's very lovely. Excellent job, there. You captured the feeling of the song most perfectly.

And the little FOmar was adorable! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I'd like to hear more of your piano stuff sometime.

Thanks! This has made my day. My FOmar is like a good luck charm now. I carry him everywhere I go.

FOAtHeart's signature: It's Caprice 24. I love Paganini too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

Oni140: Hi. Thanks for the Restoration Light picture. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I scribbled the music down on a few sheets of paper and scanned them, but I've not got round to making a neater version yet.

biggabertha: Took about 2 hours, but I started off having listened to the tune lots of times already. XD I didn't practise the piece after I transcribed it, that's why the fingering looked random. You could see me nearly getting lost halfway through. ::embarrassed::.

Not sure if I'll be transcribing anything else. I tried this tune because it was already for the piano, and I don't play any other instrument. Know of any other easy piano tunes?

Very cool! Good work! I wish there were more music stuff in fan works, this made my day. Any chance we could get an mp3 version or something? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, color me impressed (it's a shade somewhere between violet and indigo). It sounded excellent, but I'm even more wowed by your ability to transcribe that by ear. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

If you're looking for some piano based music, there's always Tower of Caelum from Episode III. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

This Talent... No... This Unsurpassed Professional Skill is just too good. not doing anymore of these would most certainly bring a new meaning of "robbing the world of art". You, Mirinee, are Very skilled, to possess such an ear is just wonderfully gifted, and to express what you hear in such a way is even more gifted than most can even describe. the only way such gifts can be enjoyed is through use, so i Clearly encourage more of these. I'm pretty sure everyone else would like to hear a few more at least.

I think you might have bumped the topic a bit much -_-;

Yeah, Zemerion, please don't bump year-old topics. We tend to fround on that, here at PSO-World. As a general rule of thumb, if you have to dig to find a thread, then don't bump it.

Albeit, on the grounds that this is an excellent work and I'd like to see more of its sort, I'm going to leave it unlocked.

Wow, that was really nice, you seem to have captured it perfectly. Certainly brought some memories back with that, thanks for sharing.

Why did I quit PSO for PSU again?

Edit: Whoamg bumped much? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif Anyway, glad I didn't miss it this time ¬_¬

Very nice. Now you just reminded me of how behind I am in doing a music piece for this group.
