What's a good level and weapon for fighting VH Dark Falz?

I'm a level 51 Humar
My weapon is a Dragon Slayer, I have a level 146 Rati, Absorb Armor with 2 Ogre/powers, Ogre/power-- and a General/power++, and Shield of Delsaber

I'd say if you can't do it know push for 60 and go for it. My FOmar made it at 62...

I haven't fought him, I just want to know, I can't remember what level I fought him at with my corrupted character

Then you seem fine to me...my FOmar was barly able to take the Grants attacks though...

Eh...It was around 50 something, because he was barely a level 60 when he got to Ultimate mode, then was corrupted

Edit: and in the Level sudgestions it says that for Hunters its level 50 for VH Ruins

And I'll be level 53 by the time I'm done with the Ruins anyway

and I might do some of the missions

My PR for beating Falz is lvl. 47.

God/HPs are your friend dude. If you don't have those, try Dragon/HP or General/HP.

Make sure you increase POW on your Rati too btw.

Falz should be a pushover at your level. >_>

I think the most damage falz deals is either his "physical" slash or the grants. The slash does set damage of, i think 370 hp offline. the grants can be countered with Resist/Holy or Resist/Saints. Have more than 370 hp and you'll be fine.

It's better to equip *insert*/HP then waste the slots with Resist/*light series*. Grants will still do a lot of damage even with those equipped so you should equip something that will be able to survive both attacks.

Aside from that, you're good to go. If you still have any doubts, level up to 60.

Well, you haven't seen everything. In Ultimate, they are really hard to play through due to the fact they can't cast Shifta/Deband which is a necessary to prevent from being knocked out.

I've found, that for Casts, it can be particularly easy to lvl. up with a method I found. It's imperative that it be a Cast character, because they have Traps.

Find a Lord's or King's "partisan weapon" with Hit%. (I have Lord's gungnir with 20 Hit%)

Do FiY quest, and simply rip through most of the beginning enemies, until you hit the rooms with the larger #s of Rappies. Freeze a large group of Rappies, and use the special! What's even better is, the rooms with 7 or 8 rappies, you can steal exp. but not to their death, telepipe, and when you come back, their HP resets, allowing you to steal all the exp. you want!

I found this very effective with my RAcaseal around lvl. 94. Since their ATP is low, they can attack the Rappies several times with exp. steal. I managed to lvl up 10-15 levels in what would've taken days to do, in just a few hours.
