1)does duping up to 10 (the maximum amount of stuff you can hold) mess up drop rates?
2)does mesesta gotten by selling duped items mess up drop rates too?

Nope. There are only two things that screw with the drop rates.
a) Mags over level 200
b) stacked items over the normal limit (10)
