Yeah you will be able to run PSU. The Recommended GFX card is at 128MB. So you will be able to run it with some nice effects. So don't worry http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

See if you can get the XT version of the card instead of the Pro one, it's generally better for gaming and most models of it have 256Mb of memory too, but the 9800 series is a pretty solid one and a good choice for sure. Here's a link to one of them, only has half a day or so left on it though, but it's the sort of thing to look at if you can afford it:

I used the 9800 Pro for about... two and a half years. It still runs fairly well, albeit at lower resolutions and qualities. It's a very good card and part of the most used series of ATI cards on the market, the 9000 series. It doesn't benefit as much from the 256MB of VRAM so much as the ramped up speeds of the XT.

I'm not sure how much you (or your parents) are willing to spend though. You would probably get better performance out of the X700 but it would be a bit more expensive. (You can find an open box at Newegg for just under $70)

Like I say, it just depends on what you are willing to spend. Also, what interface is your computer, just to be sure? I'm sure you've already confirmed it is at least AGP 4x/8x but some of the older boards are limited to 1x/2x which would not run the Radeon 9000 series, let alone the X100 series. Also, just to be sure, it does have an AGP slot not PCI-Express or just PCI?
