Tingle had mentioned a 100 theme challegesince in his Hi Hi thread and challenged others to do it as well. I'm bored and really don't have much to so I figured I start it up. My medium shall be MSpaint, joy.

The link he gave with the rules is here (http://skeithdestroyer.deviantart.com/)

Theme 2: Love

This was a bit more complicated than the last one. For those that don't know, when you work in MS paint the only shapes you get premade are squares and circles. Everything else is drawn or a line tool is used. That said, the only ways to make complex shapes are A. draw it or B. combine shapes and branch off of them. A close look at the heart and you can make out two circles for the curves, but I had to create to seperate circles and determine their size without being able to put in numbers (such as setting a radius size). I have to put lines from one circle to set the hight, then holding shift it will make a perfect circle and thus width will be equal as well. For symetrical things such as the lips I have to draw one and then copy it symetrically pixel by pixel. Organic shapes are truly the bane of MSpaint.

Theme 3: Light

Okay, since the theme was light I decided to go for lite colors (instead of light as in good) and mess around with the human eye by using contrast. The white box shows four diffrent shades of the yellow color I'm using (this is all one hue, the lumenation is just diffrent.) The top left color is the lighter part of the star, and the top right is the darker part of the star. They look nearly identical in the white box, but not when put together in the star. The two bottom colors are actually the same, taken from the background and the lines seperating the lighter portions of the star. They look the same both in and out of the star as well, proving that there is a limit to how we can use contrast to amplify other colors. To great a diffrent in lumination will yeild no strong effect.

Going rather quickly don't you think?

nah, taking a break right now actually. My eyes get majorly screwed after staring at pixels on a grid for to long. It's just when I start something I tend to work fast in the begining then slow down. Seems to happen in just about everything I do unfortunately. I'm still deciding what to do for Darkness as well, I'm thinking of makeing a complex emblem design that will require stringing together complex shapes (that will obviously be made of more basic ones) in order to get more into the idea that pictures can be broken down in steps. I always think up great images, but I can never figure out how to start them, and so they never get done. So it should be good practice. Now I just have to decide what the hell to do for dark. Maybe a detailed raven or crow or something, feathers and feet can be complex :/
