Now, not saying that I would go out and instantly buy this thing, but I must admit, 4 gigs of space is more than I could ever use.

Worst price is the price tag, more expensive than the DS itself O.o

To completely satisfy my needs I would need around 35 of those.

But less than the price of a flash MP3/video player with the same size memory actually, and the original launch price of the DS.

I'm not sure if it would be a fit for me due to the short charges I get with my DS's battery and not knowing if it uses both screens or how easy/intuitive the interface is.

I don't know where to look for a review of this item either since its both new and more of a niche item than something that's reviewed regularly.

Well actually, it's for the Lite, which means better battery life, BUT you have to buy a Lite.

I heard this thing was a piece of junk at the moment. Apparently it can't really play videos yet, and the mp3's you play on it are choppy. On top of that you need to convert them to certain bit rates to make them work.

Here's the first article I read by IGN
http://gear.ign.com/articles/717/717783p1.html

I read another article on the internet by doing a quick search of it.

Both of these show that it's pretty crappy... right now that is. Hopefully this will end up turning up better sooner or later once they release some updates.

Considering that there are two other devices that do the same thing (Nintendo's Play-Yan and third-party Movie Player) better and cheaper, I can't imagine why anyone would want this. You could probably buy a GBA Movie Player ($25) and a four gig Flash Card for less than this.

The pic of the box zoomed in shows that yes it works on the original DS also.

Why wouldn't it?

Same sized carts/flash mem game card, same processor, etc.

I bought a PSP and I thought that would've been better. Is it? And then there's teh iPod and the MP3 players so that's like a battle of the medias...

Sweet. It's good to see they are making stuff like this. I don't need it (I have a sexy 30 gig iPod video), but this gives the DS some of the much-touted "multimedia capabilities" that PSP people have been talking about for so long.

I'm gonna buy a flash cart to play music with my GB micro.
I hope the Supercard is good.

Once this hting gets teh hax0red, I totally see people playing pirates off this thing.
USB Connection + 4gbhd + DS ftw.

That, and as it stands currently, people would have to boot off a gba cart, which is quite ... frustrating, considering the size of the ds roms would mean you'd need one of the bigger (more expensive) gba flash carts to begin with.

Well, for what it is, I'll give it props. Nice try?

ogod, my 60gb ipod video is so sexy. >_>;
