IRC is not like AIM chatroom or whatever. Lots of regular just idle around and only join in when they feel like it. IRC is not gonna fix your boredom, or entertain you. So feel free to join, but don't expect a warm welcome. Because depending on the time you join, there could be 30 people in there but everyone is doing their own thing.
