So, yeah, I made a picture for the XBV contest. Kinda difficult to make 'er look like a PSO character without the typical costuming (I know, I know, it could be anything from PS, but I can't get my mind off the PSO track ;v), but I borrowed my favorite FOmarl hat and hairdo and the blueful symbol (plus I tried to season it with a bit of FOmarlish modesty with a nice one-piece). Mostly I just wanted an excuse to try out a style I don't usually tackle--namely, flat and graphic, versus my usual painterly thang.
She's chillin' in Seaside, yeeeeah. ;p

Dammit! I just finished my first pic. I don't wanna post anymore. This is absolutely gorgeous and looking exactly like I'd expect from you. The style! The colour! The ... OMG. :< *dies*

You need to post more stuff.

edit: There is a new store that opened in the mall I work in not too long ago. The name is Tommy Bahama.. or something similar. Everytime I walked by I smell sun tan lotion. For some reason, I think this pic can very well be a part of their ad campaign. It is a similar style. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

edit: no s.

edit: Multiple edits ftw. How did you do the patterning? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Really, the only thing to say is http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/heartcookie.gif(!)

Of everything I've seen posted in FanWorks over the years, this is one of my all-time favorites. The style is so utterly perfect. The type, the colors, the way parts of it look flat and cartoonish, the way others are still very lifelike (especially the very Astuarlen-esque face and glasses), and of course, the perfect female form... all of it is great. You rawk, Astuarlen.

Truly stunning, so much detail in this picture, especially on the swimsuit and floaty (?). It's amazing how you made it really "summer-y", and it's practically perfect for a T-shirt design; beautiful work http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Very Abercrombie-esque, but with some sort of non-corporate soul. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Bad astuarlen! Style is oozing from my monitor onto my desk. Now I must clean it up with an artsy hankerchief.

The higher quality link won't work for me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Not like I need it though! I don't really know what it is I love about it so much about it. The face is defintitely an eye-catcher though. I think my sister has a shirt like this http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. Oh well, rock on Astuarlen that's an amazing pice...almost as good as "The Beast"...that one mock movie premiere poster featuring Astuarlen and other famous people. Ring a bell? It should, because evil has never looked so fine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I can't help but think that image would look good on a t-shirt.

Woah, thanks for all the comments, dudes and dudettes. I 'preciate it, especially since I wasn't sure if this style would go over well. ;>
Yeah, I was kind of thinking of posters/t-shirts/adverts when doing this. Hey, if you want it on a shirt, you could try stuffing a tee into your printer. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif <--not liable for any printer damange which ensues ;p

TheyCallMeJoe, you're damn right evil has never looked so fine. *flexes looking fine muscles* Ach, but I dunno why the link isn't working for you. It's a pretty big file (~275 kb; should've posted a warning, heh) so maybe it's just taking forever to load.

So many levels of win. I like, I love, I want to see it mass-produced on t-shirts. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Wow... just wow. Total Ast style bonanza!

It's been quite sometime since you've posted work here too. I demand more.

I must agree with everyone else, that would make an awesome shirt.

I really like the subtle section ID on the volleyball.

*thumbs up!*
