Someone recently discovered a glitch on PSOX that allows them to FSOD other people. They told it to the public and now almost everyone is doing it. No one is safe. PSOX is now officially doomed. First the never ending Christmas and now this.

That really sucks. I heard about the never-ending Christmas, but it didn't seem to be that bad. On the other hand, the FSODs are terrible.

...started???

fsod has been around on PSOX forever, I'm amazed that a method hasn't been leaked until now.

And lol @ no one is safe.

What, you think it's funny? No one is safe is the freakin' truth! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah, I think its funny. Anyone who knows how the FSOD occurs could probably patch it within the game themselves. Making them SAFE.
By the way, GC was worse, and it had this waaay before this month. D:

Ok then... I'm sorry.

Corey

lol, don't worry, I'm just so used to this site being so uptight and annoying that I get into its mood

so I should be the one whos saying sorry

Same here. I usually get mad when people post ridiculous things, or when they ask for cheat codes. Sometimes the lack of intelligence in some people brings out the worst in others. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Is this FSOD able to be caused while you are IN a game? or when you are coming into a lobby? I WAS thinking of coming back sometime. It's really a little too late to have enough people to play with nowadays though.

Right now it can only effect you while you are teleporting to a lobby. There are some people that camp in lobby 1 and 2 trying to FSOD random people teleporting in.

lmao please tell me this isn't W/S mini bubble fsod, cause if it is this was like the first FSOD on GC.

There could be a possibility that it probably is.

Here is my Question:

Is it even worth getting Online for Xbox anymore?

It seems to me like noone ever plays anyway, and all that happens is you get FSOD'd by noobs that ruin the game.

So in your opinion, is it even worth it to get Online for pso on the Xbox?

They stopped using the fsod glitch so much. It's still worth getting online because of the teamplay just dont expect the servers to update anytime soon (we're still in the christmas event.)

Every time someone says this about the XBox version, I laugh uncontrollably. That's just extremely sad. Can't believe they just turned their backs on the server like that.

You know what's funny? Not ONCE... EVER have I been purposefully FSOD'd on Xbox, and I've played on both the popular ship, and the legit ship.

Why is it that zandra is always the one who starts these panic stories and makes everyone freak out for no reason? Especially when it comes to glitch exploitation. I don't even see you in game anymore, and I haven't for months now. Why are you scaring people into not coming back online?

The truth is, nobody goes around FSODing ppl. Granted, there is still the risk that you might freeze (my Xbox does it from time to time, and even on other games, too.) but it's not like you will be constantly FSOD'd. And I've never had a problem with corruption from freezing either. If you're careful, and don't carry all your weapons on you, you won't lose much other than a few mates or fluids. Common sense.

I hate the hackers, but I hate people who knowingly spread false rumors and create hysteria where there is none.

People need to realize that Sonic Team will never have the balls or manpower to manage a real MMO. Why? Who knows, I didn't have much drama on the Dreamcast version but the problems on the Xbox version is why I quit playing PSO six months after its launch and went to FFXI & WoW. Three years later playing those games I have attended in person player conventions for both FFXI & WoW, both companies SE and Blizzard take a daily active role in abolishing cheating. Is it completely gone in those games? No, but steadily and at least the developers show they care. Sonic Team does not, heck they don't even have GM support 24/7 like the other big MMO's. Really in PSO/PSU you have to have the mindset that you are playing at your own risk, make legit friends and play in locked rooms to avoid random ill-legit nabs from entering.
