The HUcast
Right now it looks very flat. This is partly because your character is standing there, facing toward us and there's not much dynamics in his pose. Shading would also help this problem, as it would give him a little more depth. I think that adding a slightly larger hipline wouldn't be bad either, since it looks like your character sort of narrows down as it goes. Worthy attempt at a cast however, since they are quite tricky buggers to draw http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif All the mechanical parts requires a large amount of detail and proper dimension.

Insane PSU mecha-demon
Once again, more dimension! Shading this wouldn't be too hard, and I think it would help alot. Adding some thicker, sturdier legs would do you well too, because right now those little things don't like they can support that demon's weight http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. I really do like the concept though, and this guy seems realllllly familiar to me....but I can't quite place my finger on it.

And to answer your last question, when you are creating a new topic there is a selection box under Subject that's called "Topic Label." Click it and scroll through the list until you find FanArt.

I have so much trouble drawing feet D: I almost didn't on the cast, I waqs gonna make the cape a little longer to cover them up.
