This sword has change since I made this (for the better I think) as you can see it is a sword that has a gaint energy blade around, the concept is a sword that unlocks a users hidden abilities and well as an energy weapon and sword.

Ahh, this passed by without me noticing! Shame on me.

The colored anime girl is realllly well done. There are close to no anatomical problems, except that she looks like she has no crotch http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. Oh and the left forearm could use a bit of slimming, but that's nothing big. I like the pencil sketch too, but the colored one looks more dynamic, even if it is on lined paper http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I think that your sword could use a bit of tuning up. More detail on the hilt, and probably using a straight-edge on the blade would give it a more refined touch. It looks reminiscent of a palm tree to me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif The hilt is the trunk...it has the right texture, and so the leaf-ish things protruding from its base http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

As far as the characters I like the shading and the form. Looks like you need a little more practice, BUT you said this is your older work so I'd really like to see you more recent stuff.

About your latest Max Light pic...

Casual poses are so much harder to do than action ones. Because all the details, and the positioning of the body are so subtle. Like your older pictures demonstrate, practice makes perfect.

Your recent anime-girl looks verry nice....although I think you should try experimenting with new outfits though. Drawing the same thing can limit your potential, as I am learning the hard way -_-. Oh, and if the pic wasn't so smudgy that would be grand too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif.

By looking at the more recent stuff it's easy to see that you've improved a lot. Keep practicing and show us more stuff soon.

I started out doing anime I'm moving to more realistic now that I have that practiced up.

I'm glad to see someone saw that they were wings and not leafy things! And yes there is a reference to Chrono Trigger (my first RPG!)
and yes it is a gunblade, but it can accually shoot too (I thought that would be a nice improvement http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)
