You'll be able to play the game fine, aslong as your on a PC or a modded console. And you'll be able to connect to the Japanese servers I'm quite sure. But you wont be able to access the U.S. EU servers, as theres a regional split.

That's great, thanx, but I have another question, how would you go about paying for you're account, I understand that you need to use netcash, but is it possible to purchase netcash cards with western credit cards or paypal?

Doesn't really matter if you can't answer this one, it is a bit specific, any help would be greatly appreciated though.

even if I can't I'm still going to get the JP version for offline mode http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well originally to pay for your subscription to the JP version we would have to use Segalink, which only accepts JP credit cards or netcash cards

- HOWEVER -

A couple of weeks ago Sega made an announcement that there will be a new system for paying online called "SIGN"

We're unsure of the details, but it seems alittle more likely that SIGN will be good news to us importers.

Of course if anyone has any more news on the upcoming status of SIGN it would be greatly welcomed, I'm rather out of touch with the latest Sega news.

wonder if SIGN was their reaction to the payment limitations the other service had. after all it's unwise to limit the ways money can pour in. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Not really, Saner. If you ever go to Japan, you'll find that you have almost no access to money from banks outside Japan, and hardly anyone takes credit cards that aren't from a Japanese bank. They have good economic reasons for this, but I'll refrain from making a long explanation that no one will read.

Also, as far as I know, there's no confirmation that SIGN will in fact take non-Japanese credit cards. It's merely speculated.

oh I see. ya that makes sense to keep the money within their country.

I guess that's why we have tax stuff to do? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

"Broomop."

PM me if you think I can, uh, trust you.

If you post pics of beast men in underpants though it's quite likely you aren't playing this game for hax.
