This has to be my new favorite show on adult swim, partially because of the obscure references to real metal bands, partially because of the kick ass music, and partial because of the comedy.

Did anyone else catch the premier episode last Sunday?

I was laughing my ass off during the entire episode. It was so damn funny...

There were references to Finntroll and Cannibal Corpse. Finntroll was the name of the grocery store and Nathan Explosion said "try our hammer smashed face", which is the name of a Cannibal Corpse song.

Hmmmm, it was ok. I liked Home Movies WAYYYYY better. I'm not into metal in any way, shape or form so the music didn't interest me (although I did think it was amusing they were signing about coffee) and I obviously didn't get any of the metal references. I thought some of it was funny, but I don't know if it's something I would watch on a regular basis.
