best way?

hmm allright I just recreated an old caracter who's in need of a foie amp, I just found a barrier on a different character sifting through items. I remember the combination of hildebear cane and merge allowing for some real foie pwnage.

so I was wondering what is the best way to get one of these? There aren't any drop rates listed on the site aside from the outrageous monster drops. It seems to mainly come from boxes and I was wondering if that I choose a harder difficulty will the chance of it dropping increase?

Edit: I also found a cool angel wings with a 175 mnd that I think I got online a year or so back... I can't remember http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif what do you think the chance of it being legit are? I think I found it on a legit characeter I made but I am a little reluctant to use it.

well i cant help you with the red barrier thing but i can tell you that you were right about the foie pwnage because i have a barta merge and a mace of adaman that i like to use and i own with the bartas.

im trying to think about how i got my barta amp lol
im pretty sure i got it from a drop, i think from a box...i was like what the ef is this thing cause i dident know.

open every box in every level that you go into and eventually you will run across one, but more likely on normal and hard where rares don't appear from boxes as often.

I'd say go for the Forest 2 boxes in normal. Just power level new characters in forest until you find it so the EXP is actually worth, unless you really want it, then use your main.

what quest would be good for doing forest 2 runs? I can't think of a good one off the top of my head.

Just free forest runs, they all more or less have the same number of boxes

You guys are the opposite from me, I get too many amps and not a single merge, lol. I have anti/resta/red/blue/etc... amps, no sign from a barrier.

im the same way....but I got most of my amps out of the normal forest everytime I start a new character
