GC: 60 Hz settings?

Hi

Sorry more questions!! I've now got a hunter lience and am within touching distance of the ST servers. I login and it says that my TV is setup wrong and I need to be on a 60Hz TV setting!! I've moved my GC and thought rather extensive use of phone cables have it pluged into the TV downstairs! Same error!! How do I can the TV settings??

It's not your TV that has to be set to 60 Hz, but your Gamecube. When you turn it on, press B and keep it pressed till you are asked if you want 50 or 60 Hz. (Where you choose 60 Hz, of course.)
Keep in mind that older TV's may not be compatible with a 60Hz signal. If you get a black and white, and scrolling picture, try your other set.
The 50/60Hz originates from the difference between NTSC and PAL format, the first having a refhresh rate of 60 Hz, and the latter of 50 Hz. (If your set is compatible with NTSC then you won't have a problem now).
