So here's the thing. I plan on getting a PS2. however, I want to get this thing for it that lets me switch back and foward between Japanese and American games. I can't find it because I don't know what it's called. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

It's closely related to a mod chip, but I ask you, have they bothered to make kits for the new, slim PS2s?

There are discs you can buy that trick your PS2 into thinking it's a japanese one. I use it to play my imported Dragonball Z games http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

they are called PS X-Change Discs. google it.

I found out that most of these Discs only work for PS1. So you will have to find a manufacturer that can do the same for the PS2. Sorry.

I recall seeing a disc in indie shops recently called Magic Slide for PS2.
