How come everytime i start up my gamecube to do an 2players games i have to start from forest1?. I've beaten the dragon, when to cave, exit and save, start game again, do everything all overs again. Is there anyway i dont have to do all this stuff again?.

everytime you beat a stage you HAVE to talk to the principle for it to save.

You DO have to talk to him, but ti dosn't have to be right after you beat the dragon. You can save get off and come back a million years later (willing your GC still works) and then talk to the principal.

I think its just like in online, you have as many stages as first person has open in one player offline. Just think of it as an online game, you dont have to hit the monuments, and nothing saves over stage wise.

You're right, it works exactly like online mode.
