I've tried port forwarding, DMZ, firewall off, etc etcetc and no matter what I do i'm hosed. Funny thing is I had a similar thing happen on the release day of DC PSO and I had to call Sega and give them proof I owned the copy so that they could unban my disc id. looks like some pirate has stolen my disc id already...sucks big time since I can't call sega on this one.

Wow......Talk about board spamming, i know you REALLY want an answer but spamming doesnt help. Maybe Just Maybe your ps2 is too old to run PSU. Do you even get to the main menu when playing this?

Yes. This error comes up when I try to connect online.

Try plugging in your ps2 to your router and pinging it via your pc.

Your network adapter or cable may be damaged

The PS2 has a Region ID that it gives to the server when it tries to connect to online games.
If you have a North American PS2, a Japanese server will see that ID and not let you on.

Yeah I can ping it and the network setup works fine. So it does lock out US PS2s? That's my prob then...
