A small request...

[Sinue_v2]

I was wondering if anyone would like to help out my Wiki project by making a new title page icon, a new favicon, and perhaps a new signature tag I could use. Since the site covers all aspects of Phantasy Star, I was kind of thinking of a symbol or graphic which encompasses all of what the series stands for - from the original series up to PSU. I tried doing that a bit in my current icon, using original PS and PSO fonts - but I'm no graphic artist. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Also, I was thinking of turning the "Community Portal" section into a "FanWorks" area - showcasing both fan-created images and storys. Normally that's meant to be a forum - but I don't really want the drama and hassle which goes along with it. What do you think?

I felt like doing some remedial Photoshop work so I whipped this up for you.

It's simple, I know. I just wanted to shove a ton of characters in there, and by 'ton', I mean 35. It's not the best I've done, but I think it encompasses the original series up to PSU pretty well (albeit as bluntly as possible). Enjoy~

Edit: I didn't notice it til just now, but I did a lot of newman segregating there...

I can make you a favicon.ico! Hm... Anything in particular? They're not hard to make.

I was thinking maybe three dots connected by a ring, since that can represent either Algol, Gurhal, or the seal on the spaceship ruins. Maybe with a "W" in the middle or slightly offset to the right where the ring thins out.

The Cross seen on the pillars & ruins door of PSO - it's also seen on NM-2011, though I haven't seen it present yet in PSU.

Hey there,
I put two together. The ring might be too unaliased for your tastes, I don't know. I also made one using the red symbol.
Rename them accordingly if you plan on using one of them; I named them diffrently as not to conflict with my own favicon.ico

Hm... the first one is really hard to see - so I think I'll go with the other one. Seems to be a bit more appropriate anyhow. Thanks!

Oh, and thanks for the resize Axios-, I had gotten busy and haven't had a chance to look for my PhotoSuite disk. Now that I have it installed, I'll go ahead and see what I can do. The .GIF conversion kinda messed up the quality - so I'll if I can save it in a .png or lower-end .jpg format. The original is already up on the wiki for use in other forums which don't have a sig limit. I'll link it to the community section tonight.
