Melee FOmarl Questions

Just started a FOmarl, which is a totally new class for me. Now, Mags I'm set for (one Pow/Dex and one Pure Mind).

The thing I'm wondering is if there's any good alternative single-target melee weapons aside from Double Saber or Vivienne (to go alongside a Soul Banish). I don't want to mimic loads of other FOmarls using those, but am struggling to think of a good alternative.

I thought possibly an S-Rank Twin, but I'm wondering if there's any other good options anyone could give me?

An Excal would work quite nicely. Dunno if that helped but I hope it did.

Yeah, Excal stands out for the massive ATP/multiple enemies. Problem being, I think it looks pretty horrible http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Grass assasin sabers aren't bad. Low ATP requirement too. More ATP than double saber, but one less hit. Mediocre special. My FOmarl, who is level 42 right now uses them, and she'll probably use them for awhile too.

Pan Arm blades, if you like daggers, are good too.

Twin chakram, again for daggers, weaker and 2 less ATA than Pan arm blades, though.

Vivienne would be the best way to go, in terms of double sabers. But if you wanna be unique(Seriously, every FOmarl screenshot I see vivienne http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif). S-rank twin isn't bad. My FOmar uses one, have no complaints about it.

I have a Fistfight FOmarl.....but I quit PSO a while back...
Their unarmed combat animation is pretty lame though.
I would rather look at a wimpy FOney do her thing.

S-Rank Twin with Berserk is probably the best thing out there. Other than a sphered Vivienne (I'm talking 60%+ in multiple areas)

50% hit Double Saber sucks, don't use it.

I wouldn't suggest Excalibur, due to FOmarls ridiculously slow saber animations. Red Saber has a chance to have better percentages, including hit%, and has the Crimson Coat combo. But Red Saber is in essence worse than excalibur, still.

Spirit on an S-Rank twin is ok, but it is less accurate than berserk, so I wouldn't recommend that either.

G-Assassin Sabers are useful. It's probably the only Twin Sword they can use. S-Rank Twin isn't bad either. I would also recommend a Bringer's Rifle, that thing will really help.

Though arguably you don't "melee" with a Bringle Rifle.

Well, Vivienne really IS an excellent weapon. Bar this one, you pretty much only have Srank whatever, Excalibur, and Soul Banish.
The ennemy parts weapon are OK until you start harder areas. Then again, at higher levels, even such weak weapons are fun to use...

I remember I quit PSO because I could never get the Holy Ray from Sil Dragon...
Should I start playing PSO again?

Red Saber + CC isn't something to overlook, either.

Hmm, G-Assassin Sabers I'd never thought of- I'm into Hard now anyway, so might hunt a set of those, since I traded my last lot off >_>
