I'm trying to watch a movie I downloaded but my DiX player says it can't read the audio format. . . which is Dobly AC3 if that helps. What can I do to fix this?

Grab the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.58 (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm). That should take care of pretty much all your codec needs.

If you really only want the AC3 codec you can get it here:

Hmm... well I was going to recommend the CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack), but it seems Violet's K-Lite will handle everything you need already.
